This was a take out order, and glad we stopped here. This was me and my husband's first time ordering here. We were in the area, so we decided to stop by. The restaurant is super clean, the staff is really nice, and attentive. This is definitely a great place to eat, and watch sports, on the televisions. We ordered spaghetti with meatballs, cheese sticks, garlic bread and wings. I don't eat chicken, but my husband said the wings were really good. This place always has quick delivery and/or pick up times (that are faster than they quote it). The food is always fresh and hot. The one time my salad was shorted ingredients, they sent the driver back right away and it included a generous amount of extra toppings. Let me tell you about rosatis. First of all. There's a new owner in town and she's amazing. I placed a pick up order for a pizza, wings, and dough nuggets. My boyfriend picked it up, and to my dismay, someone had mistaken extra sauce for easy sauce. I called to let them know what's going on, and I won't lie I was a complete bitch right off the bat. BECAUSE the old owners of rosatis were terrible. I was expecting an argument right off the bat about my pizza. I wanted the entire order remade because I didn't want cold nuggets and cold wings. This woman who answered, agreed right away. She went above and beyond and then I realized that the old owner/management is no more. She's amazing, and has quite possibly the BEST customer service I've ever experienced. They agreed to remake my order AND refund the whole thing! I'm not going to let them refund me, that isn't necessary. Just the fact that she was so willing to make things right absolutely stuns me... If you want phenomenal pizza and amazing customer service check out rosatis!!!! I know they had a terrible rap because of previous owners but that has DEFINITELY changed! read more

I am visiting Ottawa Illinois from Atlanta Georgia for business and was recommended this place for good authentic Chicago style pizza. I was highly disappointed. I was OK with the 30 minute wait for the pizza but not OK with the $2 each topping up -charge on the deep dish style pizza for the same toppings that go on the regular pizza for less. I received the pizza and it looked good but after getting to the crust I realized it was white and hard in certain places. I asked my server is this what YOUR Chicago style pizza should look like? I asked because others I have had consisted of a buttery softer crust. She said she would ask the manager and I told her never mind I just won't eat the crust. THEN, I see some discoloration on the outside crust of the pizza (see attached photos). I almost lost it and asked for the server who then got the manager and said he had no answer for what it was. He was trying to tell me it was black from the pan but when I blew up the picture and showed it to him it was clearly green. The manager did comp my entire pizza and drink choice which is not what I came there to do but what he thought was right. Ordered take out. Super busy because of the Cubs game. We decided not to eat in because IT WAS SO LOUD and our 4 small children weren't having it. The girls at the front were so sweet and super nice. I ordered bruschetta, beef; dipped with giardinara, chopped salad, honey barbecue wings, and a deep dish pepperoni and sausage pizza. After a 40 min wait (which I didn't mind bc that's typically how long a deep dish takes to cook) I took my order home ready to eat! The good: Bruschetta, delish! A bit over garlicky but I didn't mind. The bad: Beef didn't come dipped, after I specifically asked for it to be dipped. And it was SOOOOO SALTY! I ate one bite and passed it onto my kids and they didn't eat it, either. A waste of $7.99. Chopped salad, PASS on this. Waaaay too much green peppers and bacon bits and the chicken pieces seemed like thick lunch meat. Not worth the 10 bucks! Mostly veggies with a palm of chicken. Even portillo's chopped it $7.50 and tastes better! The chicken wings were dry. I ordered honey barbecue. Think big, not fried wings with dried honey barbecue sauce over it. It tasted as if they had fried it the day before and it sat under lights until I got them the next day. Dry and brittle breading with unappetizing brown clumpy sauce. Use your imagination of what it looked like. The WORST was the pizza!!! So mad bc Rosatis has pretty decent deep dish. So I'm all salivating to take a bite. Even if the last 3 bites of appetizers were disappointing, this wouldn't be! WRONG! I take a bite and get something stuck in my teeth. I was like, ooh, this gooey cheese is caught in between my teeth. WRONG, IT WAS HAIR! SMALL, WAVY BLOND HAIR! GROSSSSSSSSS! No one in my household has blond hair. And it was inside the layers of the pizza. So disgusting. I called to let them know and the manager offered a $10 credit towards my next meal. Thanks. I threw out my $24 dollar pizza because of a pubey hair and you're going to credit me a little over a third of the pizza. No one wants to eat 2/3 of a pube pizza, FYI. I'm so disgusted and disappointed. When I lived in Elk Grove, Rosati's was a weekly stop. This new one in Ottawa, I'll pass. YUCK! I took a picture of the hair for all of your enjoyment! Later at night, my sister and I decided to order some delivery from here. We decided to get the chicken alfredo and zeppole. Upon arrival, we opened the food, prepared to be blasted away with the impeccable flavors, supposed to be bursting, oozing, and flowing with taste. However, we were in utter disgust and despair when we placed the plastic inside of our throbbing and salivating mouths. The taste of the sauce was cheap and bland, it was close to be considered a felony by G. Ramsey himself. In trials of desperation, we decided to season our own dish. Despite this, the food could not be saved; there was no hope for the chicken alfredo. The zeepole reeked of musty carnivals, and the dryness of the dessert convulsed my taste buds, and I could no longer even dare to peek at my fork or food. I want to start off with saying I've been here 3 times already and each time there really wasnt much to complain about. The place has only been open for maybe 2 months, so you should expect some mishaps and kinks while the management gets this place working smoothly. My girlfriend who grew up eating at rosati's in the burbs tried the italian beef and loved it. I personally just want pizza, thats what Rosati's is known for, why would you really want anything else. As far as the atmosphere and the staff. Ive always been greeted professionally, never had any issues with the wait staff either. Yes, ive had to wait a little longer then i felt i should to get my food, but the 1st visit the place was super busy, the 2nd i ordered deep dish, it says right there in the menu expect more time for it to cook. The 3rd time, we walked right in after 2 large parties, so id expect first come first serve. The atmosphere is exactly what the you would expect its a sports pub, plenty of tvs showing sports and thats one of the reasons i enjoy coming here. My only true complaint, this place needs to put some blinders or shade on the front window. When that sun starts coming down, its pretty brutal if you've been seated near it. I hope they really do fix that. I definitely recommend this place, nothing will ever compare to our hometown favorites. I welcome this place to town and i will be back soon! read more

Everything is red with Bulls, Blackhawks, and pizza sauce. I found everyone to be extremely friendly, welcoming, and helpful-- from the servers to the regulars I sat with at the bar, and even the new owners. My 12" pizza was perfect and will feed me well through the weekend. My Blue Moon beer was crisp with a fresh orange wedge. The atmosphere was festive and lively. I like Rosati's. Their food is always good. I come here once a week usually for trivia on Monday or on a Friday or Sat. I like the atmosphere. I would give them 5 stars if they would have what I want all the time. They ate out of 2 Margarita mixes and didn't have vermouth for a dirty martini and did not have angry orchard one time.
