The dining room is very uninviting and the fact you need an employee to refill your drink is very institutionalized. Employees that know how to input order would speed things up as well. Not sure why such low ratings. I've visited this location several times. I was pleasantly surprised when I was given a number, after placing my order and being asked to be seated. They then brought me my food! NEVER, in my entire life, have I been in a Mc Donald's, that does this. Not only was the food fresh, the people were very friendly and the atmosphere was calm and relaxing (not all this tv garbage all over). Will continue to visit. I shouldn't even give one star. I got absolutely NOTHING I ORDERED. The order menu screen had things listed wrong. I had to ask for corrections 4 times and they still got EVERYTHING WRONG. Two guys were working on it and had two little orange cones placed so that you could not see it until you pulled into the lane. So you were stuck driving around the block to get into line. Traveling from New York to Iowa in one day. Stopped at this gem with five kids. Staff was excellent! They took great care to make sure the customer service was on point. Food was absolutely correct as well. Cashiers almost sprinted up to take our huge order. These guys know how to do business. I thought I was being punked. First of all, the entrance led straight to the exit. It took us several attempts to get in the parking lot. Then we walked inside and every employee was mopping the entire restaurant. When we walked in, they all looked up like they were surprised that we walked in. This is the worst McDonald's I have ever been to. We ordered a small coffee, an unsweetened ice tea, and fries. We drove up to the window and the cashier was looking in the opposite direction and took him like 5 minutes to acknowledge us and take our payment. And then we got our order and we received a sweet tea instead of an unsweetened tea and a bag with the fries. We drove away and then realized they did not give us a straw for the tea. It wasn't until we were a ways away that I realized the tea was sweetened and not unsweetened and we didn't receive our coffee. Do not go here. read more

Ordering from this drive thru is the worst. You order a pancakes big breakfast and ask for syrup, which should be implied when you order pancakes ( Wait for it ) then you order an English muffin and ask for the butter on the side to put on yourself ( Wait for it ) Then you ask for salt and pepper packets ( Continue waiting for it ) You order a large hot chocolate and get to the 1st window to pay. You pay and then reiterate what you have asked for and the person says " They will put that in the bag for you " Then you get to the second window where they tell you somehow your order was a " Special " order so please pull ahead to WOW......the third window, where you wait ( Fast Food ) ? They finally come with your bag and you reiterate a 3rd time if the condiments and such are in the bag and they say " Yep, they are in there " Now, if you try to rummage through the bag to check yourself you get impatient people behind you waiting and sometimes even honk so you trust your smiling McDonald's worker and make the 20 minute drive to work. You get to work and ( Ready for it ) ? There is no pancake syrup, no butter, no salt and pepper and your large hot chocolate is a hot coffee. You call to complain and they say they will give you a free meal for the inconvenience, which does not make the fact that you are sitting at the office with a bland cold breakfast that appears just slopped into the plastic container any better. They take your name and you get put on some " Mystery List " and when you make your way back there you let them know at the window you have a free breakfast coming because of prior incompetence...oh wait, " we cannot find your name on our trusty list " which you know they actually wrote with an air pencil on an air piece of paper. Then...are you ready? They ask you for the receipt......from an obscure order 3 or 4 days earlier. They do not tell you to keep the receipt ( if you even get one ) to show at the window when you come back because they know every worker at McDonald's has the same air pencil and paper but your name must have been written in the invisible ink. Then they make you wait as they discuss among themselves with the manager who is probably the one you spoke to in the first place a few days prior. They continue their conversing behind the glass with each of them looking at you from time to time as if to their amazement of such a rare event this is and make you feel as if you are trying to scam them out of a muffin because you have nothing better to do with your time at 7am. I just assume they are discussing their plans for the weekend. It is time and the verdict is in as she walks back to the window to ask me to pull forward.....so I can wait until they apparently bake my specialty muffin from scratch, meanwhile I am late for work. If this was a one time occurrence every now and again I can understand and even blow it off but this seems to be the normal at this facility and discussing it with management seems to make no difference. This is not quantum physics, this is fast food and it is a real inconvenience for the customer to deal with this 2 or 3 times a week. read more
