I was astounded at the high quality of food, service, cleanliness, and atmosphere of the restaurant! We decided to try a number of different foods: a chicken sandwich, fries, slushie with Pop Rocks, and the glorious Hot Mozz Slider. All were fantastic. I would eat them all again. Our cashier A helped us a ton and gave us a lot of great food recommendations. In fact, the whole crew had great rapport with one another and I even had three different employees check in on us and ask if we needed anything. They also have some cool things in the lobby that elevated our experience: - cool, immersive, decorations throughout the place - a useful order board that shows online/delive orders as well as in-person - their own Wi-Fi We were blessed to have such a great first experience and we'll be Dave's customers for a long time to come!

This space is very spacious, this is probably 1 of the larger Portillo's that I've been to. My go to is a cheeseburger and cheese fries and yup, that's exactly what I ordered. Plus a slice of the birthday cake, which I got for free. If you sign up for their rewards program 1 of them is getting a slice of birthday cake during your birthday month. Portillo's just does their cheese burgers right. It's nothing fancy but definitely not basic. The quality of ingredients is exactly where it should be in order to craft the perfect burger.

Place is mediocre, but they've all gone downhill since Dick sold and it went corporate. Portion sizes went down and prices went up. At least the quality is halfway decent. That took a slight hit but nothing major. Which is why I'm giving them two stars, otherwise it'd be one.

We got the grilled pork banh mi which is sweet and savory, topped with cilantro, and fresh crunchy veggies. Optional to add an egg. Bread is soft on the inside crunchy on the outside. Sandwich was almost perfect, I just felt they could have added a bit more ingredients inside. The proportion of ingredients to bread ratio was off, a little too much bread. But if you add an egg my partner says it'll balance the ratio.

Bread could have been better, but not the worse. The crispy chicken was the star of the meal! I'll definitely have that again. Great crisp and flavor. Extremely disappointing All in all, a good local option and will definitely order again.

At…read morefirst, I understood that they were new and needed some time to get things together, but they've been open for over a year and I feel they still haven't figured things out. I usually get tacos or a burger and curly fries, but this time I saw they were advertising the Munchie Meal of horror in collaboration with the Simpsons. It came with a choice of a burger or chicken sandwich, two tacos, curly fries, a drink, and a promotional cup. The cup was one of the main reasons I decided to get the meal. There was hardly anyone there, but it still took a while for someone to take my order. I specifically ordered the Munchie of horror with the burger, and after they took my order and payment at the window, they told me they were out of the promotional cups and gave me a voucher instead. I would've ordered something else if I had known this info before paying. If you're advertising a meal, you should know what you have in stock and let customers know before taking their money. Then, when I received my food, they told me they were out of the box the meal was supposed to come in, so they handed me a regular bag. I stayed at the window and asked for taco sauce because the person who gave me my bag just handed it to me and walked away quickly. As I drove away, I realized they hadn't given me a straw for my drink. I thought it would have been in the bag. None of these things individually are a huge deal, but when you put everything together, it feels like the location is consistently disorganized and not paying attention. I also noticed another customer waiting with her two kids in the pickup area in the parking a lot. I saw an employee bring her food out. For a mom to take her two kids of the car; I could only imagine how long they had been waiting for their meal. I really do love Jack in the Box tacos, but this location needs to step it up. They shouldn't be advertising a meal if they don't have the supplies that come with it, and customers should be told about missing items before they pay. The whole experience was disappointing and the place seems poorly managed. Following Thursday, we decide to try again...maybe it was just one bad night? We again arrive @ around 6:15. Only one person in line ahead of us. It is immediately clear the customer and the employee making the pizza know each other as they are having a long conversation while the pizza is NOT getting made. 6:21... it's our turn. I order my pizza, and the employee slowly makes it, and puts it on the rack to get cooked. My husband starts to give his order, but the employee stops to have a conversation with another employee who is filling up the toppings. My pizza goes in the oven well before hubby's is even made, so naturally, mine comes out of the oven well before his. It would have been nice to eat together! His was ready after I had already eaten half of mine. (I guess I could have waited and let mine get cold.) Pizzas were yummy. They were very stingy with the sauce, but I should have asked for more, so my bad. You'll see from the pictures that the crusts were very inconsistent. Mine was very thin. My husband's was very thick. We both had regular crust, but his raw crust was huge, and they folded it in to fit the pan, resulting in a super thick crust. 4.5 stars for the food. 0 stars for the service.

We tried the boneless wings in Sisig and Salted Egg, and honestly... the Sisig flavor surprised me. I wasn't sure how it would work on wings, but it WORKED. I really liked the sauce and the flavor, but it made the fries a little soggy. But the Snow Cheese Fries? Chef's kiss. That cheesy, savory goodness had me going back for another bite.

This place was shockingly delicious. Let's start with the elephant in the room... time. It took longer than I was expecting to receive my food, however there is a really good reason for that. The wings were prepared perfectly. I do mean perfectly. Juicy, but completely cooked and crispy. I seriously doubt these were frozen fried because the wings were cleaned very well. I've been to wing places serving every 4th wing still has a feather (yuck) or overly breaded or salted. Not this place! These wings have an incredible crispy texture but still hot and flavorful. I was considering 12 wings or more just so I could try different flavors but I settled on an 8 piece combo. Instead of fries I elected fried corn seasoned with Cajun seasoning. Very tasty. For the wings , I chose two flavors I wasn't experienced with: 1st salted egg. This was a very interesting flavor that had a powdery texture but a finish that wasn't overly salty but incredibly flavorful. The 2nd was Buldak & Gochujang and that was sweet and savory with a light touch of heat. These flowers really intensify the perfectly cooked chicken. The presentation was also well placed. I never thought I would give 5 stars to a chicken wing place but anything less would be unfair to the cook/chef and staff of this place. Restaurant and bathrooms were very clean and staff very friendly and accommodating. My only frustration is ... I'm visiting from Denver so I can't get this place without a flight or 900 mile drive. This will be my stop next time I'm back in Bolingbrook. I wish other wing places trained with this staff as this is how you do it right and this place was off the chain! Well done!!!
