We had a death in the family and received a 12 pack of Jimmy Johns subs from a family friend. A great presentation , but when we bit into them, only one slice of meat. All you taste is the bread. I had to go to Food City to buy more deli meat ,$5 and pilled it up. Much better. It cost almost $50, for mostly bread. I talked to coworkers and they all agreed, they said that is why they dont go to Jimmy Johns anymore. Sad as big as this chain is, they can't spend an extra few dollars to make it right. read more

We went there to order 3 sandwiches for dinner 10-27-2021. Had not been to a Jimmy Johns in the east. We had enjoyed them on the west coast. The clerk seemed disinterested. Never asked what we wanted on the sandwiches, like condiments. We ended up with 3 very plain, dry sandwiches. No mayo or anything to make it moist, no lettuce, tomato nor did they ask if we wanted things like pickles, olives, onions, etc. I will say that the area which had the add-on's, the glass was covered. Maybe they had nothing, I don't know and didn't think about it. So, when we got home, we had to open olives and pickles to add on (we didn't have tomatoes or lettuce). The food is really good and while I've been in a few times, they deliver until 3 a.m., which is great for a night owl college student working late like myself. The delivery drivers are always incredibly nice and incredibly fast, and to top it off my order hasn't ever been wrong. The staff at this location are awesome. The food is mostly forgettable. It seems odd that there are 2 sandwich shops in this same small strip of suites. It's clean, easy in and easy out, and the parking is plentiful. It's also fast. It's fast food. And sometimes fast food isn't the best food. When people say that Jimmy John's delivers fast, they ARE NOT joking! It makes me wonder if the deliver drivers teleported to my door! They are quite friendly as well. There are actually Jimmy John's in CA, but I discovered this chain in Johnson City...and they deliver! There are no bells and whistles here, it's just sandwiches, chips, and cookies. The ingredients are simple, but they taste crisp and fresh. Their bread is perfect for piling on some Italian deli meats, that awesome avocado spread, veggies, and cheese. I've finally gotten my JJ's addiction down to once every couple weeks. For almost six months or so after they opened, I would order once or twice a week. I've only ever had delivery from them and they are scary quick. Usually not over thirty minutes but mostly around twenty. I always order online because you can fully customize your sandwich and get it "your way". They rarely get my sandwich right when ordering over the phone but always get my online orders perfect. The sandwiches are always yummy regardless of whether or not I get my extras. I have tried all the clubs except for the veggie. Favorites are The Hunter's Club and The Club Lulu. The Gargantuan is huge and worth the money. I'm in love with their triple chocolate chunk cookies and pickles. I heart JJs forever! read more

I love their wheat bread. Not crazy that they charge extra for it, since they don't deduct anything because you are not getting the"normal" roll it would have came on. And they play games with the delivery charges. If you call in one order with 15 sandwiches one charge. .. ask for 15 separate orders and you get 15 delivery charges. Super fast carry out delivery and eating in very very fast faster than any other restaurant and better than subway subs

While I was staying with my mother-in-law after she had surgery, I decided to order some food from Jimmy John's, since I was unable to leave her by herself. I have eaten in this particular restaurant many times before with zero complaints. And be it that their advertisement is "really freaking fast," I was going to place my order for delivery. When the gentleman taking the order asked for directions, I was told "I'm sorry, but you are located outside of our delivery range." So I asked, "how far out do you deliver." The response was the gas station be low your address. Well, this gas station is .2 miles from my mother-in-laws house. Jimmy John's is 1.6 miles from her address. No wonder their delivery service is "really freakin fast." They must not deliver past their parking lot. Needless to say, but I'm really disappointed!! read more
