Every time I come here I think in my head... "no wonder I don't come here often, it's such a weird location!" I mean the location isn't bad. Just a bit confusing to get to. You see it from the road but you can't turn directly into it. Unless you got a really cool off road Jeep, you "might" be able to make it up that steep hill. I've only been here twice actually. And I would come here more often if it wasn't for the fact that I've missed that turn 100 times. First off! Yes it's Italian food. Not real real Italian food, but they never said they were real Italian either so that's a BIG plus when an establishment doesn't try to be something they are not. Secondly, I think it's a really cool setup inside for a FASTFOOD joint. Hell its nicer and captures the Italian experience better than some REAL Italian places! Also their staff are really nice. No, you're not gonna find any Italian chefs back there. I looked. Lastly.... they are super quick, food is super cheap, and while it's not meant to blows your socks off, it's actually quite good!! And they also have a drive thru. How cool is THAT?? When you're carving some pasta, pizzas, sandwiches with a slight Italian flare to it, and want it quick (as opposed to boiling pasta at home, who actually enjoys that step?)... you can be in and out of here with your own Italian dinner in no time. But the last several yrs, there is this one attendant and Bread Delivery Person named Josh that has an excellent personality, super friendly, and not afraid to simply be himself. Fazollis in Johnson City is one of the worst fast food restaurants in Johnson City,TN: The quality of food has declined and I'm not convinced it is clean. Ingredients has been scaled back and they no longer use the ingredients that once made the food good, They do not know how to manage their drive through and the wait for food in side is just as bad. Very disorganized especially if you are trying to have lunch and get back to work. They have cut portion sizes down and even their breadsticks are smaller. The manager on 03/06/2025 is a pure (;&!,:/). He no business working with the public. He doesn't seem to handle the pressure of his job very well. He intentionally held my order up and I think it was mainly due to my high end car and his asshole disposition. If you want cheap quality food and poor service this is the place for you because that is what you're going to get. I highly suggest paying about $4 more and going across the street to Olive Garden. read more

BEWARE!! CAUTION!! First time, we ordered spaghetti and meatballs and the meatballs were GREEN! They were bad and this is food poisoning, like 6 months ago. You come here for bottomless garlic bread sticks and salty red sauce. It's not gourmet, but if you know what to expect or have a very specific craving like I did tonight, it fills a niche. You could go your whole life not eating here and you wouldn't miss a thing. One of the few places in these here parts where you can get grape or lime Fanta Zero. And, honestly, the pasta is better than that place across the street. Here in JC, they have what must be the nicest people in fast food working, which is why THIS Fazoli's rates 3* instead of 2*. They don't have wine, but DO have Frank and Dean in the house music. Ima let you in on an Italian-American cooking secret....the gravy is much better if it hears Frank and\or Dean when it's simmering. Now I normally don't eat white sauce anywhere but home, and I don't recommend it here. By far the best Fazoli's we've been to. The service was quick and our waiter Quinton was the absolute BEST! He kept checking on us and making sure we always had bread. So happy with this experience and we will be back! Someone please give Quinton a raise since we can't leave him a tip! The only issue is trying to get into the parking lot. Stick with the basics, lasagna, bread sticks, etc. The Alfredo is very bland, as is the pizza... This store has the best customer service that I have seen in a very long time. So friendly and helpful.

The cashier/waitress Tiffany C was incredibly rude. She brought out the wrong dish, and when I explained what I ordered and wanted, she proceeded to scold me in a very angry and hateful tone as though I was a child. My fiancé told her she was being rude, and that there was no need for the attitude. Tiffany C stormed off shouting she wasn't being rude, in a hateful volume and tone. She sent a different waitress out with the correct dish, but it was cold. Rather than get nowhere in the store by asking either waitress to get a manager, we simply left. I've never had such a terrible experience at a Fazolis before. We also discovered we had been charged for the wrong dish after this explosion of rage from Tiffany C. She never offered to refund the overcharge. Tiffany C's employment should be terminated immediately. Perhaps then she will understand how to properly take ownership of her errors and not take her mistakes out on her customers. read more

I cannot say enough about our love for Fazolis. The food is delicious and affordable. We love the sampler platter, the chicken parm, and the chicken penne. The breadsticks are plentiful and amazing. Good desserts. Our kids love to eat here too. We miss this chain in our area and would be thrilled if they would come back. So much better than Olive Garden. Faster and just as good. Not bad but not great--very much fast-food version of pasta. Not a whole lot of taste (things are pretty bland) and they stare at you like you're nuts if you ask about Gluten Free things. I liked it ok the first couple times when I had the lasagna,but every time since then get the order wrong or don't put ingredients on that should be on that particular order. Am here right now with my family. No silverware. All dirty and were given plastic. The soda machine as well as the separate water machine had no ice and my spaghetti was just slightly warm. Won't eat here again. Will go to Johnny bruscos for same price and get better food read more

I work for a company that got Fazolis catered to a a training class of 30. The Alfredo was TERRIBLE! The worst I've ever had in my life! The Lasagna was ok but the alfredo was disgusting. Don't buy unless you have no taste buds. read more
