She said it wouldn't be a problem and put our name on the waitlist. We headed in to sit at the bar and we were promptly greeted by 2 bartenders. As we waited for the others to arrive, we both got a drink. Within 10 minutes the others showed up and our table was ready. Cam, who was one of the bartenders, waited on us. She was phenomenal. Great service from beginning to end. Daisy set up a spot for us and everything was excellent. The restaurant and bar area were both clean and comfortable and all of us enjoyed our meals and drinks. Can't wait to come back and order the Chicken Scallopini again. It was delicious!!!!!

She brought a great sense of humor to the table and made us feel relaxed right away. What really stood out was the care she took with dietary needs, making multiple trips to the kitchen without hesitation to ensure everything was right. That kind of attention doesn't go unnoticed. On her recommendation, I tried the Athena's pizza--and I'll admit, as someone who usually leans toward meat dishes, I didn't expect to enjoy it this much. But this? This was a problem (in the best way). Fresh ingredients, great balance of flavors, and a perfectly baked crust had me going back for "just one more slice" more than once. The portions are generous, especially for the price, and the quality is there. Add in country music playing in the background, good friends at the table, and an easy, welcoming atmosphere, and everything just came together. Even the space itself was well kept--the clean bathroom was a small detail, but definitely appreciated. It's a cozy space, so larger groups may feel a bit tight on seating, but it didn't take away from the experience at all. This wasn't just brunch--it felt like a moment. Highly recommend.

Parking is in a paved lot right in front of the building but there is more in the adjacent lot. The only problem is if you pull into the front lot but don't have a parking space you can't get to the adjacent lot without going back out onto the divided highway. The legal way to do this is turn left at the divider opening and go back towards Jonesboro about a block, then turn around at the next divider opening and turn into the adjacent lot. There could be an opening to the adjacent lot from the front lot but it is blocked off with a railroad tie. There is a handicapped space right in front of door. The parking spaces are not marked so you need to be considerate. This trip was for breakfast on a weekend, and the restaurant was about half full when we arrived. We were greeted as we walked in and told to sit anywhere. Seating is to the left and is all tables with few seats at a counter to the right as you walk in. Our server came by right away with the menu and took our drink orders. She brought the drinks quickly, but we needed a little more time to decide as the menu is decently large and diverse. She returned in an appropriate amount of time, the sign of a good server. Our food arrived about 10 minutes after ordering. The Magnificent Seven had two eggs (cooked slightly less than ordered, but not an issue), hash browns, two sausage patties, two small pancakes, and a biscuit. The biscuit was dry but would be fine with gravy. Everything else was quite good. Of note is the little jelly packets included seedless blackberry jelly and apple butter, a very nice change from the typical grape and strawberry offering at most restaurants. My dining partner selected the meat omelet, which also included toast. The omelet was large and completely filled with meat. It was a very good selection and very filling. There is background music playing which is noticeable but not loud. Conversation was very easy. The restaurant was mostly full by the time we left, but the servers still seemed to be keeping up, as was the kitchen. Overall, this was a good breakfast for a fair price, and we definitely plan to return.

Therefore, it was my decision to give them a try for lunch today. With it being new, the interior was sparse but very clean. You order at the counter and then wait on your food to be made. I chose to do take out. After perusing the menu on the wall, I chose a 6" Philly and waffle fries. This came to a total of $15.00 and change! The full size Philly was $15.00 alone. I then waited almost 20 minutes to get my order. Now, understand that they were not overly busy. In fact, when I arrived there were only a few people awaiting food. Everyone else was already served. (2 tables). They only have 6 tables. I finally got my order and left for home. Much to my dismay, the meal was not what I expected for the loooong wait and high price. My half Philly was about 4 inches long and I had barely a handful of fries. I don't understand how they could have been such a hit with their food truck with such paltry portions and long wait times. Guess the students of ETSU are too busy playing on their phones to realize how long they've been waiting. I know I won't return

I was traveling with my dog, who was a bit on edge from the long road trip and barked sporadically whenever people left the restaurant. Despite this, Aiden, my server, welcomed us with genuine kindness and patience. He was gracious, attentive, and completely unfazed by my dog's nerves, which made an already difficult day feel a little lighter. Because I was dining with my dog, I waited outside until the owner noticed me through the glass door. He immediately came out, warmly apologized for not seeing me sooner, and made sure we were comfortable. The apology was unnecessary -- if anything, it was definitely too cold to be dining outdoors, but I had no other option. Their hospitality made all the difference. As someone who lives in Atlanta, has dined at many excellent restaurants, and even wrote food reviews early in my career, I was genuinely blown away by the quality of the food. The wedge salad at The Red Fork is, without exaggeration, the best I have ever had. The fresh herbs, homemade dressing, and the addition of pickled onions created a layered, unexpected, and absolutely delicious flavor profile. I also loved the whipped pimento cheese served with what appeared to be homemade crackers and locally sourced chowchow. It was delightful -- one of those memorable bites you think about later. Their beer selection is also thoughtfully curated, representing a well‑balanced mix of local and regional craft brews -- IPAs, sours, lagers, and more. It's clear that care goes into every detail of the menu and beverage offerings, all locally sourced and seasonally influenced. I honestly can't believe such an outstanding restaurant exists in my hometown Tri‑Cities area. Between the exceptional food, the warm hospitality from both Aiden and the owner, and the overall welcoming atmosphere, The Red Fork provided the perfect end to a long and emotional day of travel. I will absolutely return, and I highly recommend it to anyone passing through or living nearby.
