I accidentally placed my online order at the wrong location. My son arrived a few minutes after 9:00 pm and walked in to use the restroom. The employee behind the counter, Daniel, immediately said, "We're closed." My son explained he was going to the restroom, and Daniel replied, "There are other places open you can go to." When my son said he was picking up an online order, Daniel said, "Then sure." After using the restroom, my son went to grab the order. The drinks were not made (unlike other locations), and while my son was making them himself, Daniel commented, "It would be nice if you showed up before 9." My son ignored the comment, checked the order, and noticed a 20 oz Coke was missing. He grabbed it and left. My son is very patient, but he told me he would never return to this location due to the poor attitude. I went back inside to get the employee's name, and as I walked out, Daniel sarcastically said, "Have a great night." To make things more frustrating, I didn't receive a notification that my order was ready until 9:20 pm. If the order was ready earlier, it should have been marked as such. The whole point of online ordering is convenience and grab-and-go service. Yes, I should have arrived before closing time, but basic courtesy and professionalism still matter. I hate to put a negative review on this Jimmy John's because I used to order a lot from them, but I gave them the opportunity to correct my last order and they didn't. I normally order party boxes of sandwiches for a large group of people. My last two orders have a mixed of tiny sandwiches (2" to 2.5") and regular 1/2 size sandwiches. I don't know if they change management or what prompt them to add tiny slices of sandwiches to catering orders and think that it's okay. it's business meetings catering, not kids birthday party with tiny slices of sandwiches for children. read more

I contacted this store to help me with an issue from another store because the other location was not answering their phone all day and I needed to speak with a Manager. The gentleman I spoke said he didn't know who the Regional Manger was and told me to "google it." I explained to him that I didn't have an issue with his store but it was another store. I asked him again regarding his regional manager and said he didn't know who the regional manager was and I needed to Google it. I asked him what his name was and he refused to tell me. I was very disappointed in a couple of things: 1- I ordered and had it delivered, was told it would be 15 - 20 mins, after 40 mins I was about to call and inquire on when it would arrive. Looked out the door and the bag was sitting in a chair. No one rang the bell or knocked on the door - no idea how long it was there. Could have been taken, eaten by animal or invaded by insects. I've been working on a project nearby and there aren't that many good options around to grab a quick bite and head back to work. So I've been to this location twice in the last 10 days. First time I was by myself and sat down to eat. It was not a great experience...the music is too loud and I don't think that Metallica is the best soundtrack to enjoy my food too. That one time the guy behind the counter was pretty rude and annoyed when I asked questions. Their card reader was having issues and he was exasperated with me because my card would not read wirelessly, the third time I used the chip and that worked. But definitely I did not feel welcome and for a pretty bland sandwich it was not worth it. Second time was last week I needed to pick up several sandwiches for the team and this was the nearest place. I stopped by to order in person instead of placing the order online for pickup. Now there were two guys behind the counter, no greeting, no smile, no how can I help you and the metal music as loud as ever. Ask a couple of questions about the small sandwich which apparently only comes in one or two varieties and the guy almost barks at me. Finally place my order, wait a few minutes, they yell that it's ready...you know what would have been nice? a bag to carry my sandwiches. But they had turned away and I was not going to waste one more second inside so I just grabbed them and left. Of course the subs were made with the same care they show customers. On March 18, 2022, I placed an order for 240 Lil Lunch Boxes ($1440) to be delivered on today, April 12, 2022. The delivery driver texted me to let me know that he arrived. I replied that I would meet him at our security desk. He proceeded to unload my bags on the porch. I let him know that it wasn't okay to leave our food on the ground. He rolled his eyes and kept setting our bags on the ground even though the security guard and I were picking them up and setting them on a cart OUTSIDE. After he placed the last bag on the ground, he confirmed the tip with me and left. I had a #1 lunch box that had hair in it. I called and they replaced it with a whole sandwich. I also had a roast beef sandwich that had moldy bread but it wasn't brought to my attention until after she threw the sandwich away. I'm almost afraid of what else may have occurred that wasn't brought to my attention. I frequently had ordered from JJ's. This will be the last time I give this place my business. This is a small city so it's not as if they have more than one location here. I mostly ordered for delivery. When ordering I checked the freebies like napkins and mayo packets. First time I let it slide when the mayo was not in the bag, Second time I called and they offered to bring since my house is close to the location and I said ok .The third time I went through the drive thru and the mayo was not in the bag so I had to go back through the drive thru and ask for it. The fourth time for delivery, again mayo not in the bag and I called and complained. This last time again no mayo so I called and the guy was rude and said its in the bag. I said you think I would waste my time calling if it was. If I wanted to say something was missing wouldn't I say some food was missing to try to get free food. He hung up on me. That really pissed me off and they wouldn't pick up the phone when I called back.Im sure they have caller ID. So I called their corporate customer service number and told them about it. I don't care if it sounds petty but if after knowing of this issue you can't get it right when I spend for my family 20 to 40 dollars each time then I can take my business elsewhere. There are too many options of places that care about their customers. I'm easy going but this is ridiculous. Hanging up on me was the last straw. They shorted us a sandwich and a drink when they delivered our order. Where we called to alert them, their idea of making it right was to say we could have a store credit - only good for that store. Can someone explain to me how they make a mistake and they give us any option other than our paid for sandwich is delivered to us or a refund is issued. Alright!!! They have redeemed themselves! And so very happy! As today we ordered again and the sub was super perfect. Matter of fact this was the best Jimmy John sub ive ever had. Now to NOTE !!! When you order online, when it ask for you to customize the sub, PLEASE do... i put for EXTRA on all toppings. I never had to do this in the past because the sub would be made with the perfect amount of veggies. But at this rate making sure to put extra for all made a huge difference. It was SOOOOOOO Good!
