The two JJ's that serve Huntley, IL. Plain suck! You cannot get anything delivered, and when you go to either location for a sandwich, they might not even be open within the advertised hours. Today 11/09/2023 I stopped at this restaurant and ordered a VITO italian sub . The salami was sliced so thin that I laid it on the JJ wrapper and I could read the wrapper through the slice of meat. there was only one layer of salami on the sandwich. I showed it to the manager and he just smiled as if he were proud of it. Sandwich , drink , and chips almost $14 . I WILL NEVER EAT AT A JIMMY JOHNS AGAIN ! read more

I have been here, and it's been good. However when you've driven there twice now, I drive a 15 minutes each way to grab food because we live out of town, and they've decided to close by 3 o'clock in the afternoon even on a Saturday. It's hard to give them any good start. Especially being this was the second time this happened within a week. If they delivered any more than a few miles it would not be freaky fast would it? I order from these guys a few times a month. The order is to my home within 15 mins of calling them. I live less than five miles away so it IS freaky fast. It is also good! For a chain restaurant it is damn good! They just raised prices in 8" from 4.99 to 5.69 highest in area all others are 4.99 or less. I'll go back to Subway at 1/2 the price. I order from Jimmy John's quite often when I am working out in Huntley. They are always very nice and very quick with my order. Thank you for great service. Whenever I've had a problem I called the store and it was instantly reversed or I had a credit on my account for next time when I ordered. Very nice staff and very nice management. I've never been inside of Jimmy John's but I'm guessing if it's anything like how they treat the employees it's very clean and very nice. read more

I understand how things are difficult during COVID but I was very disappointed that this location did not have a sign or anything letting customers know they were temporarily closed at the drive through. Myself, 2 cars in front of me and a car behind me all waited at the drive through for at least 3 minutes each waiting for someone to greet us on the speaker then drove up to the window to see a dark facility (no sign on the pickup window either). After pulling up to the window I pulled up a little more and walked to the front door to see the closed sign on the door. There was a very large OPEN sign above the door that you could see from the street so it was confusing to the customers waiting to place their order. read more

This was fine but I made a simple comment about being shocked that they didn't deliver because the address was so close. The associate snapped back aggressively and said that if I have a problem with their delivery radius I can call corporate. The attitude was out of nowhere and pretty ridiculous. Well they have made it so this place gets low stars for delivery! I don't care about delivery so they get 5 stars from me! Lots of other jimmy johns give you hard bread!!!! By far, the WORST service in a JJ's ever. Walked in, there were 6 employees and nobody took our order, or acknowledged us, far a good minute. We finally placed our order for a number 5 with no onion and a number 15. We waited for 10 minutes to get one sandwich, which was the number 15. The 15 is a tuna and the amount of tuna that was on the sandwich was so minimal, we had to search for it. Apparently they were running low on tuna as I watch them dig it out of the bottom of a huge tub. They compensated by adding extra slices of cheese. They still didn't have the number five completed however they had been able to complete three of them in the time that we were waiting, for the drive-through. They then proceeded to tell me that the one they were working on wasn't for me. At which point I gave them back the sandwich that they attempted to pass off as the number 15 and left the store. We immediately went to another JJ location (440 S Randall, Algonquin, IL). From the time we walked in to the time we had our sandwiches was exactly two minutes. We were greeted immediately by the person that was cleaning the front of the store as well as the people behind the counter. That's the kind of service I'm used to at a Jimmy John location. I spent $15.75 to get two sandwiches and a bag of chips which I was unable to obtain at that Huntley location. I would very much like my money back!! read more

Its too bad because technically i didnt eat the food but i called to order when i had a friend over and our 2 toddlers who were hungry yesterday and getting crabby by the second. I live 2.5 miles from this location and they told me i was in the outskirts of their delivery range. Really?? if you cant deliver within 3 miles, why bothering at all.. He said it was their policy. Just ordered a #5 Vito with hot peppers on the side, and the owner said he has to put them on the sandwich, as portion cups are too expensive. Really? I told him I order that all the time at the one on Randall Road, to which he smugly says that he owns that one too, and he's going to call them right now & tell them to stop doing that. No wonder his dining room is TOTALLY EMPTY during the lunch hour! Rude owner, too cheap for a 2 ounce souffle cup and lid, which at most costs 5 cents. I've never had a bad experience at a Jimmy John's before which urged me to review this specific location. I came in with my boyfriend around 3:30 on a Sunday afternoon. Sandwich-wise they're up-to-par but the crew were very inattentive and rude. The music is way too loud that when you're asked for your order you have to repeat it at least 2 times, and even then when you ask for no-tomatoes there will be tomatoes. I asked for hot peppers on the side and they told me "we can't do that" which would've been okay if any other Jimmy John's i've been to "can't do that" either. The guy made both of us feel dumb using their POS system and was very impatient about guiding us through paying for our meal. They didn't give us napkins and as i was looking around there aren't napkins available so i approached the front to get some and i had to stand there for a good while before they even noticed and when i asked the guy just told me "they're right here" pointing behind the counter like i'm supposed to reach-in to grab them behind the counter instead of politely saying "here you go." As we ate our meal we could hear a lot of clanking and banging from the back and that's when we decided it was time to go. They did bid us "have a nice day" before we left but by that time we already had a bad experience and we spent our whole stay ranting to each other how terrible the customer service was. read more

I am not going back. It's like being called a liar. And, their sandwiches are not that great. They either have too much meat for the Gargangula or not enough for the others. I'll go to Subway. This is for the store on 47 north of reed road in Huntley, they didn't have a link on here. Worst customer experience I ever had. Guy asked if I wanted my sandwiches on wheat instead of white i said sure thinking the bread was the same shape and size, got the sandwiches in these thin regular bread slices for the same cost. Tasted disgusting too (bread). Next week ordered a slim for my daughter with lettuce and onion because she doesnt like a lot of meat, and i have ordered this and received this here before, I was told by two people there the slims are for kids, and that kids do NOT like vegetables thats why i cant get any vegetables on the slim. I offered to pay extra for the lettuce and I was told I could not. Unreal, back to subway. Used to like JJ but they suck bigtime. Kids dont like vegetables....way to promote healthy living. Slims are just about same price as regular sub, with half the meat, and they wont even let you have a piece of lettuce, even if you offer to pay for it. Man how disappointing. Real let down. Went in two complaints and never even received a response. What a horribly run company, just horrible. read more
