a hot dog with lettuce and tomatoes

I don't always eat Jimmy John's, But when I do I prefer it tossed together like no one gave a crap! I went in at 11:07am this morning to find a store empty of any customers. So, the staff wasn't rushed in any way while constructing me a monstrosity. Like usual, I order a French 16 with extra tomato. Probably the 100+ I've ordered over the years. The sandwich felt light in my hand as I headed for the door. I got home & decided this sandwich needed dissection so the world can see what $7.43 gets you from stingy Jimmy these days. First, the ingredients were set to one side leaving a two bite area of just bread & mayo. Next, my request for extra tomato's found only 3 slices total. My past pictures show 6+ slices. Finally, the lack of turkey...just 3 measly slices. Damn, they've gotten tight! I did call & confirm three slices of turkey are a regular serving for the French 16. Back in the day, it was $5.57 for monster torpedo of a sandwich. Now, $7.43 for squat! Back in the day was about 1500 days ago. 1 - fresh baked bread 3 - slices of turkey ( only 1 full slice ) 3 - slices bacon ( the saving grace ) 3 - slices tomato ( GLAD I ASKED FOR EXTRA ) 1 - handful bagged pre-chopped lettuce ( tastes like the plastic bag ) 1 - shear mayo Jimmy, Your out ballin' in your $20 million mega yacht & your cash cow is sinking. No more gas money for you... I'M OUT!

    #12. No mayo. Add "dij"

I love Jimmy Johns. I usually get the #12 "no mayo, add dij" or the #13 "no mayo add dij" and i go back n forth with the french bread or the 7grain. both are great. Few things about this location (i tend to come here more often than other locations): If I'm looking up at the menu hanging from the ceiling, and standing several feet away from the register....no, i am not ready to order. I'll step up to the counter, and make eye contact with you, that's when you will know I'm ready. Let me get in the flipping door! Also, this is one of those locations where the workers, on their days off, come in and hang out at the end of the counter and talk to their co-workers who actually are working (or trying to anyway). these people need to get a life. there...got that off my chest.

Order was screwed up but food was still good. Store was clean and staff was friendly. Location is convenient and service was freaky fast.

Gave the delivery guy 2.00 tip for one sub, didn't even say thank you. My sub had enough mayo on it for 5 subs.

Freaky fast. A franchise that gives you exactly what you'd expect: exactly what you've gotten before. Sandwiches, chips, pickle and a drink.

Sandwich is on the small side compared to cost. Taste is ok but on the bland side. Biggest problem is management's customer service.

Food was good. However, the cashier doesn't know how to count change back at all. If you pay with big bills be aware.

I stopped by for a scoop of mint chip custard and it was creamy, rich, cool, and delicious. But - really is there no bad day for custard? No, there isn't! This place is busy all year round, and for good reason. For the custard, there is usually a flavor of the day, plus the usual favorites, vanilla and chocolate, plus a sundae and shake of the month. A sign outdoors advertises the flavor of the day and a monthly menu of each flavor of the day is available online, if you want to plan ahead for your visit. If you've not been to this Milwaukee icon, it's a must-stop; the custard is really, really good. The retail store is set up like a 50s type diner, and there are plenty of folks ready to take your order. There is no seating indoors, just a few tables for standing-only to munch and chat. However, there is outdoor seating like a mini amphitheater on cement steps, and when the weather is nice, it is not unusual to see large groups of customers sitting outside eating ice cream or other treats or burgers. The menu also includes burgers, chicken sandwiches, fries, shakes, malts, floats, and sundaes, too.

This time I had the KRK Burger with fries and onion rings along with two scoops of Cookies & Cream custard in a waffle cone. Everything was delicious. The restaurant is clean, well lit, and runs efficiently. Even when it's busy, the staff keeps the line moving and is always friendly and helpful. I also love their rotating Flavor of the Day custard options, and they even post a three day forecast so you can plan ahead. Overall, Kopp's is a great spot for both food and dessert. Definitely recommended.

I kind of agree - I can't say there's anything special about these burgers, but it is always comforting somehow. Anyone else know what I mean? lol I tend to order online and pick up. So far, they have NEVER been made on time. Like, NEVER. We always have to wait for them to finish the order. I think they don't pay attention to the online orders until we come inside. And it's not like they're super busy in there either. Maybe one or two other customers inside when we walk in... but nothing is ever ready. So I'm still not sure with what's up with that. This last visit, I got a bun-less burger, wrapped in lettuce. They really did an overkill on the lettuce. See pic. So normally, with all this, I would have docked more stars... but for some reason, I still keep coming back. And after the long wait and peeling off half of the lettuce, the taste still lingers. So a solid 4 for me.

Family meal takeout - chicken Rice, beans, and chicken were spot on as far as taste goes - just the way they always are at Chipotle. Portions were also ok. For a family meal, we got 2 packs each. The toppings - lettuce and cheese were just one pack each. The cheese topping had lettuce mixed in it at the bottom. I didn't like that, since storing leftovers made it a hassle. Had to fish out all the lettuce before properly storing them. Salsa containers were pretty small - especially the guacamole. Wish the pico and the guacamole came in bigger portions. Simply no enough pico for the 2 bags of chips. Ordering was done online and we just had to walk in to grab off the shelf so we didn't have any interactions. Easy order, easy pick up. Good food. Happy belly.

I'll assume most ppl just pay an extra $2 for additional toppings that are placed on however if the item is added at the beginning without prior knowledge it is an additional cost and can't be removed you must remake the order over. The employees were very rude and even threw items across the counter when hand is out to retrieve it. That was highly inappropriate and upon asking for the manager he approached me and stated he couldn't confirm it happened however as a customer if I state to you your employees are being very unprofessional and throwing sauce cups instead of handing it directly to me after being very short and rude over a order remake you apologize for the behavior and let the customer know you dont condone that type of behavior. He deflected refused to apologize and told me to contact the general manager about my experience I left the GM a voicemail and stated I would leave a negative review and they still didn't call back to address the issue of the concerning behavior. Accountability and apology is how you maintain a good relationship with consumers. And word of mouth is how you build or break your reputation in the business world. I do not recommend this location and if and when I do shop at another location I won't be biased but I will ask the staff to inform me if you put toppings on my meal at the beginning to tell me it's extra not at the end when I'm paying as I can choose if I want to pay extra. Also items that cost extra are upsell items should be at the end and you usually pay extra if it's in a cup not in the meal with the meat in the beginning of the preparation so it's intentional to force ppl to pay more. Don't treat people bad if they don't usually order with your business. I don't usually experience this at Qudoba and they tell you when things are extra before they place it on your meal. I'm also calling corporate to ensure they know the owner who so boldly stated he didn't believe that behavior of his staff occured and denied the treatment. He couldn't take ownership or apologize. I should have gotten a refund and left but because I paid for that very poorly put together second meal and was treated that way I will continue to tell others not to eat there.
