It's in a central part of downtown, making it easy to run to on a short break and they aren't just open week days for lunch. This shop really was direly needed and I'm happy to see it. The shop is small and they don't have everything you could possibly want but you should be able to find something that works, be that a drink, snack or even lunch. I came after lunch time but they did advertise lunches, they were just gone so I'm not sure what they offered. The do require you spend $3 or $4 before they will run a card transaction but that's not a huge issue, just something of note and they do post that.

Hubby tries the Hot Brown at a lot of restaurants and said it was good. The liver was tender and tasty with the onions and gravy on the side, and the mashed potatoes and green beans were a good accompaniment. The portions were satisfying and neither of us had room for dessert. We were pleased with the experience, and with more items on the menu to try, we will be back.

The establishment is in the downtown part of Lawrenceburg. There's on the street parking that's free ( no parking meters.) The bakery/delicatessen is immaculate as far as cleanliness. There is ample seating in a comfortable atmosphere. The offerings are soup and sandwiches, salads and desserts. The staff was extremely friendly and outgoing. The clientele today was several groups celebrating Christmas. I had a spicy Italian hoagie sandwich that was wonderful. My friend had a panini that he said was enjoyable. It's a great place if you're in Central Kentucky.

My favorite thing that they sell is their homemade sausage. Everyone who taste it seems to love it. They also offer hot & cold deli sandwiches which I hear are very delicious. I also hear their steaks are superb as well. This is the only butcher shop in Frankfort, and it offers an excellent alternative to the big chain stores. After a visit to a distillery on NYE, we popped into Pourter's for a drink and were greeted by such friendly people (I think the owners?). They were decorating for NYE event with a band and some reserved tables. They were so nice and attentive, they walked us through how the self service taps worked. They give you a card with your name tagged that you tap on the little tap for the beer you want, and you quickly fill your glass with whatever your heart desires. I'm a slow drinker, so this was beyond perfect because I can fill each glass halfway and not worry about my beer getting warm lol! There were a great variety when we were there, including a sour, ciders, hard Italian sodas, stouts, pilsners I think, miller lite, and more. They also offer other drinks like cocktails, liquid death, and bottled drinks, along with snacks and light foods like buffalo chicken dip, quesadillas, pizza rolls, sandwiches, and more. The inside has fun decor, I'm not sure what was up for Christmas/holidays but I loved the stringed lights hanging. They also have several TVs for sports, a warmed igloo outside, other games like bags, ladder toss, and more.
