This is an updated review. IMO this business has definitely turned itself around! I eat there now probably more than at any other fast food place. Yes, sometimes the wait may be a little longer than at other places, but the wait is well worth it. My food is always hot and fresh, and the employees are so nice. read more

Ice cold food. While waiting in drive thru to return the cold food, they turned on the recording saying the restaurant was closed, two hours before listed closing time. Several cars left the line. When the line got shorter, I guess they turned the recording off and started taking orders again. When I said my food was cold, they said that was impossible because they cook everything to order. Most of the time we try to avoid chain fast food and eat local when we can... however the weakness for my family is Wendy's. A lot of the chains are older buildings, not clean, bugs... if you'd like a great meal, in a clean location, visit ours in Frankfort in Versailles Road. The store manager Jay is a polite man who will fix any order with issues. I love the 4 for $4 for a quick lunch. The fries are always hot and salted. I love the lemonade. read more

Extremely bad service, this place was empty , just one customer ahead of me , this one guy was serving up their food, completely ignored me, other workers would come up to the cash register and not even look at me. After 10 minutes of serving up the customer that was ahead of me, the guy just walked out from behind the cash register and started cleaning up the ketchup area, never once acknowledged me, I was invisible! I get no one wants to work in this industry anymore and it's because they won't pay a decent wage to do so then you have the dining area's closed so it's just the drive thru but for the people who have ordered and PAID for their food to have to wait 30 plus minutes in the drive thru is absolutely unacceptable. We waited in line for 45 + minutes last night beginning around 6:30 pm 8/3/2022. But don't think this was the first time this has happened to me at this location, oh to the contrary, this has happened to me upwards of 10 times, but my ignorant self hasn't learned my lesson. Doh! Idk if this place is still suffering from lack of staff due to the pandemic, or they just absolutely suck, but it's a common occurrence to wait over 20 minutes in the drive through. I frequently see various workers stepping out back (right beside the drive through line) to smoke or vape while they have a line wrapped around the building. Maybe it's just me, but management should never allow a break while the restaurant is swamped with customers that have been waiting for several minutes (that's not a good look bruh). All we ordered was a $5 biggie bag! That consists of a double bacon cheeseburger, 4 piece nugget, small fry, and a drink. We got the food after 45 minutes and it was cold as the Antarctic. WTF?! I'm mentally trying to calculate what exactly took so long? Do they butcher their own cattle at this location? Do they grow their own potatoes and then hand cut the fries? Do they have a chicken coop in back?! Was the cook wringing a chicken's neck to prepare my nuggets?! Help me understand the mind-phuckery of taking over 45 minutes for a sad cold burger, fries, nuggets that taste like deer ankles, and a drink... I'm convinced this place is being run by a 16 year old with a sadistic sense of humor. Surely no adult manager would allow this horrible service to continue. Does district management not care? I went to Wendy's 1266 US 127 S and order 2 Baconator Combo's for $20.12. What I received was a burger with one burger meat, a slice of cheese and not even a 1/2 piece of bacon. The burger was very dry too. I went on line to the Wendy's menu and what I got was no were near what it was suppose to be. A Beaconator should have 2 burger patties, 2 slices of cheese and 6 slices of bacon. Wendy's took my money and did not give me what they advertised. read more

I'm a doordasher went to pickup a order on the Westside of frankfort but couldn't get any help. When I got to store you have 3 people outside smoking, looks like 1 working drive thur. I say hello, she looks around at me and kept on doing what she was doing. She's looking for the other works as she is still working. She never responded to me. She could have said one moment but said nothing. So I've been in store for about 5 minutes with no help not a word. Wanda clearly needs to be medicated. Or rehab. Not sure. She failed to take our order at the menu, so we thought it was broken. We attempted to place the order at the window and instead of brush it off and ask what we'd like, she became verbally aggressive and leaned out the window and threatened us. Fire her. Being physically and verbally aggressive to customers who simply want to place a small order is completely unacceptable. We never raised our voices, nor did we make any accusations. If you want to wait in the drive thru for 30 minutes, have the people in the windows be rude, and for them still to get your order wrong. Well then this is the place for you. It's close by and the easiest thing to swing into on my way home. But after charging me for the wrong orders, missing sandwiches, and the long waits on so many occasions. This place was terrible. I should have known when I use the restroom before ordering and the urinal had years worth of black goo baked on to it. Ew. I was really hungry so I waited in line to order and they ignored me for 5 minutes. Wouldn't even make eye contact just standing around. I open the bag with chili and what's the one thing you need with an order of chili? Yes, crackers are nice but how about a damn spoon? They often get the order wrong, and when they get it right, it takes forever or you get cussed out by the drive-thru girl. I waited 15 minutes in the fast-food drive-thru only to be called a stupid mother-f by the employee who took my cash only because I looked at my watch. I was late for work. I went to Wendy's and ordered 50 chicken nuggets for everyone at my house. I asked for a lot of bbq sauce because the chicken nuggets taste like shit without it.
