Just had the most disappointing McDonald's meal I ever remember. I ordered McNuggets and my husband had McChicken sandwiches at east side McDonald's (drive thru). Spare yourself and go to the McDonald's on the other side of town. We went last week, pulled up to the right side order box with one car at the left order box currently placing their order. About 3-5 minutes pass and a car pulls into the left lane behind the car currently ordering. After about 2 minutes the car ordering pulls forward and I wait for the person to take my order...2 minutes pass. Then, I hear them taking the order of the car that pulled up 5 minutes after us in the left lane (6 f-ing cheeseburgers and more). It takes about 5 more minutes, then that car finally pulls forward. About ANOTHER 2 minutes pass by and the person finally asks to take my order, and tells me they are only accepting cash. Whatever fine I order. The lady in front of us that was the one who pulled up after us gets to the window, and I see the woman working the window tell her that they aren't taking card, apologizes, and gives her the meal for free. I pull up and the lady tells me my total. I told her that she took that woman's order before me even though she pulled up after and then she got her meal for free. She stated that she forgot to tell the woman and that's why. Normally I wouldn't care but that would literally have been us if she had taken orders correctly so I was a little upset. I voice this and she goes and gets who I assume is the manager however I couldn't tell because he was wearing a cowboys hoodie and no name tag or McDonald's clothing. He comes over to the window and asked me what the problem is and as I'm in the middle of explaining he cuts me off and damn near throws the bag of food in the car. WTF? When we got home, we also realized they gave us EXPIRED honey mustard. Tonight, we tried revisiting as it was our closest option so late at night. When I order they AGAIN tell me they aren't accepting card? How is this not fixed in over the week since we've been there. I scramble to make sure I have enough cash on hand then tell her that's fine. We pull up behind the car at the window and I see the woman hand the man working a card. When it's our turn to pay, I say to the man "oh I see you are accepting card? The woman in front of us just gave you one". He goes "oh...um....ya....but like our card thing is being 'weird' so we really prefer you give us cash". As he's in the middle of saying that a woman walks behind him and yells "NO WE ARE NOT TAKING CARD". Idk wtf that's all about? Additionally, my Dr. Pepper was 90% sparkling water. Those two experiences have turned us off and we will only be going to the other location. That staff is friendly and knows how to take orders correctly. read more

Always quick and friendly service at this location. Never had any problems with any of the staff and have maybe had one order messed up ever (and i've been many times) which is bound to happen at any busy fast food restaurant. Nice ambiance. read more

This is my local McDonald's and I stop here quite often but rarely will I have a complex order because they can never get it right. Went for breakfast today and told them at the speaker I wanted a sausage and egg biscuit. Notice it was rang up as sausage McMuffin? So when I got to the window I informed the lady running the window about the mishap and she acted like it was a problem for her. So after the correction I receive my order and they gave me the McMuffin of course so I go back inside and tell another worker. She proceeds to give me another sandwich which I assume is correct. I hate this place. But since it's the closest one to my place I have no other option. Stopped there this morning at 8am and ordered a large orange juice, a sausage biscuit and 2 breakfast burritos. I had to repeat my order 4 times because the guy taking my order kept getting it wrong and sounded like I was interrupting him from surfing the Internet or something. I had to wait on the orange juice. How can you be out of "orange juice" at 8am? I'm driving down the road and take a drink of the OJ. it was so WATERED DOWN that I couldn't taste any orange juice flavoring. I've been coming to this McDonald's since I was very young, in fact 30 years ago I worked at this McDonald's (before the fire). It has gone downhill in the last year so noticeably. Food is often missing or wrong, the drive thru wait is ridiculous. I don't know what happened but training is sorely lacking... heck, I know more about their menu and pricing than the staff do. Several of the drive thru staff are just plain unclean and have no business in the service industry. In the last year they have been rand out of products that are just standard (Splenda, chicken, milkshake mixes, seeded buns, salad dressings etc!). I placed an online order because well I have a newborn and had baby puke on me. When I got to the store I marked that I was there and selected drive thru pickup since it was slow. When I arrived to the window I said I had an online order and was told I had to go in. I replied that I selected drive thru and was told "doesn't matter all online orders must come in." I pulled over parked and walked in where I waited for 5minutes before anyone walked over to the counter to take my order #. I stood there waiting, 5minutes Later I finally got my order. The manager came out to check on the order for the woman in front of me they clearly knew each other and didn't say a word to any other customer in the store. Finally I got my order, drove home to find the two pumpkin pies I ordered had sell by times marked "enjoy by 2:44pm" I placed my order at 6pm. This is absolutely absurd. The fries are never filled to the top of box. EVER. Not to mention 9 times out of 10 they are cold as well. Most times I get a fish sandwich combo, plain and well done, since the fish is never ever done if you don't order it well done. However, again 9 times out of 10, it's not cooked well done, but when it is, (after waiting 10 minutes), there is always cheese on it. Again, remember I ordered plain and well done, and we already messed up the well done part. So now I have a sometimes cooked, sometime not fish with cheese. ‍. Unbelievable. I had been using the McDonald's app to order and pay for my food. This seemed to be great because I could order and get curbside pickup. It worked great until I ordered two items that the store couldn't supply. The problem is that I already paid for them. If that happens to you ...you will be required to contact the McDonald app number because the store won't even offer to make it right. So you do and you're told that they will contact the store to tell them to give you the refund? So I did and still no money. So don't pay for your food in the app because you probably won't get your money back if you're over charged. read more

I got there today at 11:00 and all the doors were locked AGAIN!!! This happens all the time. Twice while I was sitting inside drinking coffee. The manager yelled "lock the doors" and they just locked them. Anytime they get really busy they just lock the doors and wont let anyone in the lobby. This is ridiculous!! This is one of the worst McDonalds locations I've ever encountered, and it consistently seems to be this way. For starters, this location is the slowest McDonalds I've ever experienced. It's not just slow, it's epically slow. If you go during the normal rush hours like lunchtime, and dinner time it seems to run more smoothly. However, if you come during off hours, like say after 8:00 pm, do not be surprised to experience 15 to 20 minute waits in the drive-thru. I've never experienced another McDonalds that compares to this location in terms of how slow they are. read more

I visited the Frankfort Kentucky McDonald's located on Versailles road this evening. This is not the first poor experience that I have had. Due to my schedule I usually come before close as I did tonight. My order was for four 10-piece chicken nuggets. I was amazed that they had them ready at the window considering the time of day. I live 2 blocks from the store and when I opened the product found cold to the touch nuggets. GARBAGE. These were not even in the warmer before they were sold to me. I had the same thing happen with quarter pounders a couple of nights ago. I thought I must have been mistaken so ate that cold garbage. They give you no receipt. Tonight as soon as I felt the ice cold food I called back and they asked me to come back. I am not coming back nor will I ever. Then they hung up on e and will not answer the phone after 7 attempts,.
