At the time, it was only a very light sprinkle. She began clearing items from the outdoor tables and rushed another couple who had been happily dining outside, removing the salt and pepper from their table and making them feel so hurried that the gentleman spilled his beer while trying to get up. The entire interaction felt uncomfortable and unwelcoming, and we ultimately decided to leave without ordering. Despite that experience, the quality of the food has consistently been outstanding over the years. We're hoping our last visit was simply an off day because it's a restaurant we've genuinely enjoyed and recommended many times.
