Toasted Tuna wrap and Cole slaw

Broadway subs never disappoints. I moved here about 2 years ago and this place is our go to every time we are craving a great filling sub. PLUS the owner strives to make everyone feel welcome as well as have a good time from the moment they walk in the door to the moment they leave. The building is filled with awesome memorabilia and being from Philly , it makes me feel like I'm home again in the city. (Btw, the Philly cheese steak I have had in the past is GREAT!) The fries are delicious , the tuna wrap I constantly order is always on point - the slaw is amazing - and this wrap was good for two meals ! My husband who is military brings his buddies here whenever it's his time to choose a place , and they all have the best things to say about their meals. If you are looking for a place to get a filling meal with an awesome atmosphere, this is your place!

Veggie sub, cookie and pasta salad

A perfect deli spot. We were driving to the Florida Keys from Jacksonville and I googled a good deli in the area where we were stopping for gas. Broadway Subs had great reviews and they are well deserved. I wanted a good veggie sub and this one was on point. They have a large menu of cold subs, hot subs, grilled items like cheesesteak, etc. I was warmly greeted upon arrival and I noticed the owner knew most costumers there by name. That's awesome in todays' world to have a local shop like this. My veggie sub was delicious and huge. The owner also gave me a cookie and a small thing of pasta salad. Seriously how nice was that? My sandwich was less than $7.00. Unheard of. Check them out if you are looking for a good sandwich shop! I wished they were in my neighborhood.

So I am so happy I came across the Roasters and Toasters, a place where I can have it all. And by all I mean, I can have any of these choices, I know they will be delicious, and I know the service will be exceptional. I don't have a favorite person in the waitstaff here because they are also friendly and good right down to the busboy who is always stopping by the table for some pleasant conversation. Management is always walking around making sure people are happy and the staff always seems to be picking up the slack when it's busy by helping each other out. A well-run restaurant with that old style New York deli atmosphere, excellent food, reasonable prices, and always perfect service really does check all the boxes. The quality is evident in everything they prepare, and I never leave unsatisfied. A couple of favorites. They have the best lox eggs and onions anywhere. Generous with the lox and an overall good portion. Just delicious. They also have a soup and half sandwich which has enough meat on it to be considered a whole sandwich on a single slice of bread which for those like me who are carb conscious is actually a bonus. I have it with matzoh ball soup which is excellent as well. I do vary the meats because the pastrami, the corned beef, and the turkey are all enticing. You can't go wrong here no matter what you order. This is a regular stop for me on weekends. Highly recommended.

Open since the '70s, these Pinecrest pioneers launched their Central European mini‑market as a side hustle, all while earning their keep as classical musicians. That kind of multitasking deserves a drink. Start smart with a refreshment like Almdudler. The closest American parallel is a love child of Dr. Pepper and Sprite, but that sells it short. This Austrian classic is a bit herbal thanks to elderflower and sage, yet snaps with lemon zest, and happily moonlights as a mixer for beer, wine, vodka, and even cold brew. Honorable mentions go to Apfelschorle (apple juice spritz) and the pride of Salzburg's suds, Stiegl blond lager. Whether you believe the lozenge or the tea came first, Ricola Schweizer Kräutertee, an instant herb tea, will knock a cold flat on its back. In my home, it completes an anti‑illness trinity alongside Advil and Vicks VapoRub. Mainzer's also stocks a tight but thoughtful lineup of German personal‑care creams and cosmetics, because sometimes your sinuses and skin are on red alert. The deli slings cold sandwiches stacked with Schinken (ham) or Gelbwurst, a pork‑and‑veal bologna seasoned with ginger, nutmeg, and white pepper that can be customized with lettuce, tomato, onion, mayo, or mustard. Hot subs come piled onto rolls with sauerkraut and mustard. The Brat and Weisswurst lead the sales, but the Double-Smoked BLT remains a point of almost defiant pride for the Mainzer clan. I could keep waxing poetic about all the shelf treasures, but this women‑owned piece of Pinecrest history demands boots on the ground. Dive into the unusually deep selection of chocolates and marzipan, debate the finest ketchup for a currywurst, and boldly snack where few South Floridians have snacked before.

Need a phone charger? A can of Spaghetti? Glass pipe? Bag of lemons? Sandwich? Bandaids? Yeah, everything is here. It could look a bit shady but there's not many convenience stores in this area so it came in handy.
