Cashier was very polite however, when we received our wraps, my wrap was not cut went up to the counter and ask if they could cut my wrap. They said no it was a health hazard. They did not have any solution to the problem. I always thought they were over rated but I thought I would try the new toasted cheddar and beef combo which on the menu said it was $15.19 plus tax but when I checked out it was $16.79 plus tax. This place sucks. How do mess up a veggie sandwich? You put turkey on it and then slather mayo all over both sides after the customer very clearly asked for NO mayo. If you can't make a veggie sandwich that has 3 ingredients without fu**ing it up you clearly shouldn't work at a sandwich shop. Sending out multiple delivery orders at once to the point where it takes almost an hour to receive your food is honestly ridiculous. This place gives the Jimmy John's chain a bad name. Just think of it as a sandwich shop with college-age workers who hate their job. You can imagine what kind of service you get. I went in late on a Thursday night and it was empty. The staff were talking amongst themselves. They were not too eager to help out or take our order. In the end, I got my sandwich super quick, but the guy just handed it to me with no bag and no "thank you" or anything. Ummm . . . hello. I said it was for to go and that idiot couldn't even do that. Worst experience ever getting food. 3 employees in the restaurant when I went to pick up my online order and it had not even been started. While waiting I take notice that 2 workers are wearing masks and 1 is not. Hoping he was on a break but no he is standing at the food prep area talking, checking bread cabinet, coughing, then goes to bag my sandwiches. I asked are masks not a requirement, he said he has one in his pocket but it's not required. I said well kinda defeats the purpose of you not wearing it and being around the food talking and coughing. Subs so slow you'll starve. Took OVER an hour to get my food delivery. Called twice they told us that theres nothing they could do about the drivers not being there. They were busy and we would have to wait. Then when we said we were coming to get our food we were told the delivery guy had just come in and it was going out. We were a 2 minute drive down the street but we were working and so delivery was needed. Anyway, took another 15 mins to get the food and it was wrong. Tried to call and speak with the manager. First he was in the bathroom, I said I would hold. Then he couldnt come to the phone because he needed to go make deliveries. I told them I had to wait and the next person can too. Then he was needed to handle a problem in store. NEVER got the manager on the phone. Never got my order fix. NEVER ordering from there again! read more

50 minutes is beyond unreasonable for a delivery service, especially one that has made a name for itself by claiming "freaky fast delivery." When I called to inquire as to why my sandwich had still not been delivered, I was told they had been very busy tonight and thus unable to deliver my sandwich within a reasonable amount of time. I order JJ's from this location for delivery through their online ordering system on an almost weekly basis. I love their food, I always have, but the service between locations often differs. This is far and away the best JJ's I have ever ordered from. I always have complicated orders (some stuff comes off, some stuff extra, etc etc) but they ALWAYS get it right. Every time. And delivery is always quick. My building isn't exactly next door to their location but last time they managed to deliver my two sandwich, chips, and a drink order in LESS THAN TEN MINUTES. At 1am I was concerned and called and got a gentleman who was not very nice and told me someone had a flat tire and he would see what was going on...1:35 rolls around I call 3 times and it hangs up...then on the fourth try someone answered and said my order was on the way. Awful experience from this Jimmy John's this evening. If you're thinking of ordering from this location, I recommend trying somewhere else. Placed an order at 2:47 AM, followed up at 3:39 and they said it'd be on its way shortly, and then call again at 4:01 when they told me they didn't even have the order in. The first time I called to place the order, they didn't even ask me for a card number, they just said "Okay, bye." Now, they've run out of regular bread so I have to have it on wheat bread. And they have the nerve to say, well we'll throw in a free medium drink. Mind you, I've been waiting over an hour for this and they don't even have the french bread I wanted. Man oh man, what a difference from the two dozen other Jimmy Johns I've grabbed sandwiches at. At every other one, the sandwiches are provided quickly, pleasantly and courteously. But not in Carbondale. As I entered, a delivery guy carrying a couple of sandwiches - rejected, probably - rushed ahead. No one behind the counter greeted me, per the usual approach, but that may be because the delivery guy was loudly complaining about someone. There were at least three more employees than usual behind the counter - maybe five. They silently listened to the griper as I paid for my sandwiches. Although I was the only customer, no one moved to fill my order. The delivery guy proclaimed, "He can't hold our money!" and then turned to me, saying, "This doesn't concern you!" I headed to the restroom for a couple of minutes, returning to find the people who were supposed to make my sandwiches still listening to the complainer. Initially I was extremely unhappy about the experience, but eventually saw the bright side: Because they'd waited, I could see no one spit into my sandwiches. read more

Look, Jimmy Johns has some great food. That is, if you actually get what you ordered. These guys listen to instructions like a cat learns to sit. You would have better luck teaching a three year old advanced algebra than getting your sandwich without lettuce and tomatoes. The only way their service could be worse was if they insulted your mother and kicked you in the shin when they delivered it. Oh, and what happens when you call to ask them to fix it. They tell you, 'Well everything is going to have a bit of lettuce on it. Can you just pick it off? We are really busy." Well digging through handfuls of lettuce covered in mayo and dijon is just awesome. Now I am a mess and I tossed half my bread away because it tasted like tomatoes. I work at a hotel and when a guest calls to complain about their room, I take care of the issue and make sure that they are compensated and taken care of. My family ordered three sandwiches totaling $20. Once the driver arrived we noticed that the bag contained four sandwiches and none of them were the 7-grain bread, which at least one should have been. When we called the driver, and after he called his manager at the store, he told us he was coming back to pick up the extra sandwich. Upon further questioning we found out they didn't have the 7-grain bread (which they could have told us when we ordered or called us back once they realized they didn't have it) and on top of that they never tried to fix the mess up.
