I have been ordering the same unwich from Jimmy John's for years, from all over the country and I have never been so disappointed as I was today. I paid $12 for 2 pieces of dry roast beef, 2 tiny tomatoes, and 3 pickles., warped in 2 slices of lettuce. I mention these numbers because the manager said this is the predetermined number of items on a unwhich. NOT any I have ever eaten from JJ's. I don't know if the policy changed or what. I've got to give up on Jimmy John's. This is actually The second time I've eaten their sandwiches & had the shits later that evening. 2 times is now more than coincidental. I've pinpointed it to their food because I got extra peppers on the spicy Italian and the butthole is burning while I butt barf. My unwich was ready when I walked out of the bathroom. Love that Jimmy John's offers the unwich for gluten free people like me! The unwich is a bit more difficult to eat, but it's a nice alternative to the bread options and other fast food options. Can't understand why this place has all the bad reviews - I'm telling you! My wife and I ordered two unwiches from the drive-through this afternoon. When we got back to her office, we realized that they were both made on bread. We promptly started our return trip back to the store and she called the store to explain the problem so that they could remake our sandwiches. Once we got there, we had to wait in the long drive-through line again because the dining area was not open. When we got to the speaker, I explained to the gentleman that we did not have time to wait in line twice and was wondering if we could just get our sandwiches. This is when he explained that they were not made yet because we had to return the sandwiches they gave us first. It stands to reason that on a weekday during lunch hour, a lot of people do not have time to wait in line twice. When we finally got to the window, I asked for the store manager's name. I figured I would call him or her later and explain what happened. As it turns out, the franchise owner was standing right there so he came to the window. The problem was, and the first words out of my mouth after telling him our order was incorrect was, "...which is OK because everybody makes mistakes." He said, "ok..." so then I went on. I said, "the problem is that we called 10 minutes ago to have our order remade because we don't have time to wait in line twice, and nobody would even start remaking our sandwiches until they got the old ones back." This is when he started getting rude with me. He said, "the PROBLEM is why would we waste our product to remake your sandwiches? We're going to take the inside of your sandwiches and wrap them in lettuce." I proceeded to tell him that he can't do that because of a gluten sensitivity. He said, "well did anyone tell us that?" Then I explained to him that we come here because of how fast they are. And if we don't get their food quickly, we don't really have another reason to come here anymore. His response was, "no, you come here because our sandwiches are freaking amazing!" When I told him we wouldn't be coming back, his response was, "you're just punishing yourself because of an incorrect order." Well, sir, let me tell you why you should "waste" your product: because your employee got the order wrong. Period. It's called customer service! And your product is not so "amazing" that you can just forgo any level of customer service and expect people to keep coming back. A simple apology at any point in time from the owner could've ended this conversation. I was not being rude, nor was I asking for anything. I was simply letting him know what happened. Instead, he argued with everything I said. For example, I explained to him that our situation is that my wife is it practitioner and her next patient is waiting in the waiting room right now. His response was, "well, the last time I was at a doctor I waited an hour and a half, so whatever." Seriously?!? If this guy worked for me and I heard him speak to a customer the way he spoke to me, I would fire him on the spot. But, as the store owner, he gets to do it his own way. This is the way he chooses to handle his employee's mistakes. Unfortunately, he is teaching his employees how to deal with customers, as well. The guy that took our order and accidentally keyed it in wrong looks to be about 18. When he moves on in his career, his next employer is going to have to teach him that his last employer wasn't doing it right. It's really a shame. I feel bad for him that this is the mentorship he's receiving at a young age. This is really an unfortunate situation. My wife goes to this particular location about three times a week. Went today (Sunday Jan. 29) @ 2:30pm to get a couple subs to watch the NFL playoffs...lobby is closed so I sit in long drive thru line. I finally get to the speaker only to be told that they are out of the French rolls but I can choose from a limited selection of sandwiches on wheat bread or wraps. To run out of your most popular item 4 hours after opening seems like probably the worst managed restaurant I have ever seen. Management at this place should quit or be fired immediately. read more

Sandwiches good as always. It never ceases to amaze me to open the wrapper to find it not cut. Yes I know that I could ask for it to be but why should I have to. On another unrelated subject this location has an employee that is so loud in calling when your food is ready that it is impossible to eat inside. If the norm for calling out would be lets say is at a 5 this person is at a 20. We were planning to eat inside but this employee made it impossible. We were forced to retreat to our car. Food is always good but the service -- oh my! Ordered a #12 which comes with avocado spread -- no avocado spread . I went back to the counter to ask for a little side of the spread and was told it would be extra. I said that it was supposed to be on my unwich but was not. They asked me to bring the u which back up so they could see-- say what? Because you didn't believe me. I unrolled the unwich in front of them and he said it was behind the chesse-- I pulled back the Cheese -- nothing . Now I have a totally unrolled unwich . My family has tried Jimmy Johns four times and I have to say that the fourth time will be the last. Each time we placed our order online and each time there was something incorrect with at least one of the sandwiches. Last night I ordered a BLT with extra bacon and no mayo. To begin with, the bun was as hard as a rock. I literally could not eat it. This was the second time I ordered a BLT - once with the regular amount of bacon and the second time with extra bacon ( at an additional charge of $1.75 ) - and both sandwiches had the same amount of meat. To top it off there was one slice of tomato on the entire sandwich. All three of the sandwiches had an excessive amount of shredded lettuce- I mean to the point of being ridiculous - apparently to cover up the small amount of meat and cheese. The employees working the drive through were unprofessional, rude, and disorganized. It did not appear as though there was any adult supervision and the three employees got into an argument while I sat waiting for my order. I picked up my order at 5:45pm - all of the other nearby restaurants were experiencing a "dinner rush " whereas Jimmy Johns had no cars in the parking lot and I was the sole customer at the drive through. Our three sandwiches and one bag of chips cost $22.00 and not one of us could eat our entire sandwich. Not because of the size, but because of the poor quality. read more

Very uncaring staff. The music was so loud I couldn't hear the clerk repeating back my order. I asked him to speak up and he said "he was just repeating my order".
