We had a nice visit to Jersey Mike's, the sandwich makers particularly engaging as they built our The Original Italian. The sandwich was ready in just a few minutes. This is an order at the counter style setup. Once in hand we enjoyed our food in their large comfortable dining area. The sandwich was very good. The bread is soft, not crusty like you often find at other sandwich shops. Nice soft fresh bread. Had I thought about it I would have ordered the sandwich with extra meat, which would have been an additional half as much as what usually comes with the sandwich. Personal preference. It was a good choice for an easy meal. read more

After reading the posts that had been posted and negative, I was very unsure, but I had never been there before and took a risk. The food was great and the bread was do fresh and soft. My sandwich was made just how I like it. The environment was clean as well. read more

This place is great! The Big Kahuna is an awesome sandwich! Prices seem high, but the food is top quality and tastes great. So you get what you pay for when coming here. Each order is made to order, so give them 5 minutes to get it made. I will keep coming back for more when I crave a hot sub with quick service. read more

This might be my new favorite sub place next to Firehouse Subs. We had never stopped, but friends recommended it, and we were so glad they did. I wish I had "checked in" here before I ordered because they offer a free sub for first timers. My husband and I split a giant cheese steak. The giant is GIANT! We ended up not eating dinner that night because we were full from lunch. Anyway, the sub was cooked to order and served on the most fresh bread I have had in a while. The beef was tender, and although real cheesesteaks don't have peppers on them, we asked for them and they added a nice flavor. My favorite part was the cheese. It was hot and gooey and full of flavor. I should have asked what kind it was because it was truly awesome. The inside eating area was clean, and service was quick. We will be back!!!! read more

Jersey Mike's Subs - Sandwiches Near Me - Bradenton, Florida

Really disapointed I tried this location. Ordered 2 sandwiches and both where supposed to be 7". But actually less than 6" each? ( much smaller than advertised ) along with very little steak and cheese. It looks like we just received two left over ends with some scraps. Stay away to many other places in the area to visit. read more

Jersey Mike's Subs - Small size and little meat. - Sandwiches Near Me - Bradenton, Florida

Called in for a sub. it took several minutes before they answered. The time was approx.6;30pm. When I arrived I told her it was a call in carryout order. She then stated that they were busy and had not made the sub yet. I was not happy. . The lady who answered seemed to be more interested with what sounded like a personal conversation then with taking my order. After about 5 minutes a male employee handed me a bag with my sub in it. It was ready after all. I ordered a #64 sub. It was greasy and not very good. Very disorganized and uninterested staff. read more

Service is terrible. Didn't care for the cheesesteaks at all. No white rolls ready at the time of my visit (dinner time). Love the cold subs, however, when I went this time, I wanted to try the steak sandwiches. Won't get them again. Just wasn't very organized behind the counter. Three people, only one taking orders. The other two were not doing much. One was busy playing with her gloves. read more

Atmosphere - It is a typical sandwich shop, located in a small strip mall. There is roughly seating for 40 people or so. Service - The person taking the order was not helpful or personable, but he was polite. I ordered a cheese steak, a drink and chips. The person who rang up the order brought the sandwich to my table rather than calling my name and expecting me to go to the counter to pick it up (a nice touch). Food - excellent. I order the "giant" cheese steak with peppers. It was excellent. The bread was very fresh, the sandwich hot and it tasted great. Value - very good. The order totaled about $17 inc tax. my wife and I split the sandwich and it was plenty of food. read more

Overpriced sandwiches for what you get. Even had to pay up charge for cheese on my sandwich. Much better value at Subway and Publix.

I stopped in to grab a sandwich and was told "we're out of bread", followed by "those are the last two loaves". That means you are not out of bread, you just don't want to help me. Kudos Jersey Mike's... I haven't stopped into one of your locations in ten years and I never will again. read more

I am originally a Philly native but now a resident of Bradenton, so feel qualified to comment on the local food to the region. This particular Jersey Mikes is staffed by for the most part a very pleasant and friendly crew (special shout-out to the tall lad who makes the hot subs for checking with you to be sure you like what he made). The quality of food is very good and in particular the cheesesteaks are similar to what you would get in Philly (no Amoroso rolls, but the ones they use are still pretty good). Overall I've never had a bad experience here and the few times things were not right they were quick to fix it. All that's missing is the Philly attitude from the staff for a realistic Philly experience. read more

The food and service are wonderful. Good value, too. I ordered 2 tuna salad mini sandwiches and they were packed with delicious tuna salad. read more

I was so happy with myself... Went online and found the Jersey Mike's website- Ordered a sub and entered the time that I would arrive to pick it up- Paid online with my credit card- Showed up and my sub was waiting for me behind an "express counter" with no line. My name was even printed on a sticker that was stuck to the side of the sub. It was cute. I then thought; "This is the way to facilitate a successful lunch business!" After I returned to work with my happy little sub, I ate the sub. It was not tasty. Not that "Jersey" sub taste I was hoping for, even though I ordered the Italian Sub that is their signature item. It was loaded with tasteless and jiggly wads of boiled ham with a tiny slice of salami on top. How unfortunate. read more

Good luck getting a refund. Had some sandwiches delivered and it was the wrong order. Tried to straighten it out and finally got ahold of a person after many attempts . When I finally got a hold of someone and said I just wanted a refund they told me to call back in 10 minutes. An hour later and now they won't answer the phone, again. read more

went to order 1 sub and the customer ahead of me placed an order for 19 subs. I asked her if I can place my 1 order ahead of her and she said no she was in a hurry. I asked her why she didn't call in her order and she said she was not sure what everyone wanted. I asked the other jersey mikes worker if she can take my order and her response was no and I will have to wait. If you think I am going to wait for 19 subs to me made don't hold your breath!! I left and got my sub at Jimmy John's where I will be giving them my service from now on. VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE AT JERSEY MIKE'S!! read more

As a former employee, this store is a shame. This was store was so unorganized and unfriendly atmosphere. There was a huge order ahead of us which is understandable but it should of been done before the guy came to pick it up. No greeting when we arrived and the co worker was yelling at customers and co workers. There's was no customer service and not a good experience. I am highly unsatisfied with this place. I for sure no longer will be a customer here. Jimmy John's and pub subs top this experience. I waited 30 minutes for a sub and I was first in line. Horrible place don't waste your time going here. read more

Walked out due to how dirty the place was!! Sliced meat thrown in the refrigerator for everyone to see. Sandwich station was absolutely disgusting. Looks like they hadn't wiped it down in hours! Thanks but no thanks! read more

Jersey Mike's Subs - Nasty - Sandwiches Near Me - Bradenton, Florida

Stopped here to grab a bite to eat. There are three sizes of subs here-- mini, regular and giant. Giant was more than a foot long. I watched him make them for another customer and he slices them into four sections so they are ample enough to feed two people or four people looking for a light lunch. I ordered the Roast beef and provolone and had it "Mike's way" which is lettuce, tomato, onions drenched in wine vinegar and oil-- to offer just the right amount of tang without being overwhelming, and spices. I could add, if I desired, other condiments and jalapeños, pickles, etc. The roast beef advertised as angus beef was just like I want it -- medium rare, sliced thin so it overlaps itself on the sandwich. It was delicious and how I remembered subs in New Jersey. If you are looking for New Jersey style subs this is the place. read more

We ended up leaving with out subs, if that tells you anything about the customer service in this store

I'd give zero stars if possible. There were at least 8 people "working" there but only 2 subs could be made on the grill at a time and one cold sub. How is that possible? Took forever for a hot sub to be started. Guy working the grill has gloves on, but when you pick up your phone 3 times to fix your personal music choices, that isn't very sanitary. I kept thinking they were making my hot sub - nope. Girl at least 10' away decided to get mouthy and told me I was being rude. Opinions vary. Another girl came out from the back of the store and told me "she's my cousin - you can't talk to her like that." Total. Shit. Show. Don't go here. Don't waste your time or money. Couldn't even get a refund for my sub because only a manager can do that. I call BS, but I wasn't in control and I thought it might get ugly if I didn't remove myself from the situation. Doesn't matter as I'll go to my credit card company and get the charges reversed. If you're the manager or owner of this location, your workforce sucks and I don't envy you, but this "new to the area" resident will not be back. read more

They are thieves!! Do not I repeat do not go to this restaurant!! I showed up for my sandwhich I ordered through the jersey mikes app and they had no bread and I asked for a refund and they said we don't do refunds! I asked for the manager and he yelled at me I repeat yelled at me that we don't do the refunds!! I paid 17 bucks for a sandwhich I deserve my money back!! I contacted the app and they told me they don't refund that either!! Terrible service!! I called the owner 5 days later and she said I will read it the email I don't know who you are loudly. I told her you need to just say I will take you name and number and get your refund back as soon as possible. She said it is giving back for special Olympics and the line is out the door and she hung up on me. pit poor service and I'm is saying it nicely and I wasn't even loud or rude she was!! Beware they are hateful and evil!! They stole money and kept it read more

Worst Jersey mikes I've ever been to. After trying to make the wrong sandwich, guy proceeds to argue with my wife that she ordered the wrong one. The after finally making what the said was the correct one it was still wrong. Then her cheesesteak had hard pieces all trough it. Both of our sandwiches ended up in the trash. I understand now why this location has such low ratings. I guess we should have gone the extra mile to on where the employees actually know how to do their jobs. They should just lay off this whole crew and close this store. read more

I don't know why anyone would ever give this place less than 4 stars. This franchise as a company is GREAT! And this particular one has a heart. I picked up food for nurses at Blake's CVICU and this store helped me out tremendously. I ordered online, told them what was up and asked for things on the side. They gave me a full bag of extras. Thank you JerseyMikes! You made this guys day! read more

Don't ever eat here. Not only did they OVER CHARGE my family. They couldn't even make their parts of the sub correctly. I ordered a Club. I expect to get Bacon, no bacon. Then when I try to pay they don't know how to use they're machine. YOU CANNOT USE A Swipe card. And they CONNOT enter it manually. Or won't. They only take chip cards. And even if they don't they have the worst machine ever to do that. Staff is unfriendly and not helpful. Will definitely never be back. It's disgusting. read more

It's very unlikely that I will be coming back. I went for my second time thinking it would be different, but it was more or less the same. The food is decent, but the atmosphere is depressing. Both times, i spent around 20 minutes waiting for my food to finally get started, due to orders from people made over the phone. This can all be mostly remedied somewhat to relatively easily, but both times the man working there was rude to me, getting visably frustrated when i asked questions to get a better understanding of the store's pricing and options. I don't feel any better when, in my second visit, the next customer who walks in is treated politely in front of me. I left with my sub, telling him to have a good day, since I didn't know what to say about it all in the moment. read more

First time to this establishment and I am not impressed. The lady behind the counter seemed less than enthusiastic to see us. Not sure if she is a manager or just a worker. I love JM sandwiches was very disappointed in my sandwich. I ordered a roast beef with provolone. Very little meat placed on sandwich. I asked for all the toppings and they barely put any on. It was as if they would run out if they put what most stores put on. Tomatoes were extremely sad looking, very dark, limp and falling apart. People working there were checking the box to just be there for a job vs showing good customer service. While I love JM I will not be going back to this store again. read more

Jersey Mike's is notoriously slow and expensive. This one is no different, but normally the cleanliness and quality of food typically make up for this. However, the man taking our order was quite rude. If you're looking for a sub just save yourself the time, few extra bucks, and trouble of dealing with the staff and go somewhere else. read more

Poor service and pricey sandwiches. A $10+ sub and drink is usually not my thing, but I was such and needed a bite and they were empty being New Years. Food was just OK, but when the Diet Pepsi spit foam all over me the girl behind the register said I need to just run it for a while. Three cups of foam later I gave up. On my way out after lunch, I tried again and again got a splash of foam for my troubles. When I told the person at the register that it still didn't work, she shrugged and said "l don't know how fix it".
