When I arrived to pick up my order, someone from behind the counter noticed I was standing there and I requested my online order. After giving my name, he knew that my order was ready and asked his coworker to retrieve the pizzas for me. She politely handed me pizzas. The pizza boxes were sealed with stickers. I opened the seals to check the pizzas and they were hot and prepared well. We ordered the high-rise crust with pepperoni ham and meatballs. The pizza was well cooked and delicious. The price of the pizza was reasonable considering the fresh ingredients. We ate at home so I could not give any review about the dine in experience there, but the quality of the food and service behind the counter is great. Definitely a great stop to get a bit of pizza read more

This is a fast food type of business. If you've never eaten real good NYC Pizza, then you might find the pizza here to be decent. Personally, it is similar to eating Ritz cracker with tomato sauce and a sprinkle of cheese. I enjoy thin pizza but this was being thin. The service itself was ok nothing outstanding about this place, but the location was great Good luck . read more

Blaze Pizza - Ultra thin pizza - Salad Near Me - Sarasota, Florida

We love the concept. The ordering process is quick and easy. The options are great. We like the taste of the pizza. We have major concerns about the cleanliness of the restaurant. The drink machines look like they haven't been cleaned in a while. The crumbs and food scraps on the counters look like they have been there a while. The food tastes great, but will the lack of cleanliness make somebody sick? read more

We visited on a Sunday afternoon and it was almost impossible to find parking. When we arrived, there was ample amount of seating and you were able to order online for some discounted deals. However, the place was swamped and chaotic. To be fair, it seemed to be the general vibe overall for the area. We ordered online and our later party members took a while waiting in line to order. The staff seemed friendly and were dealing with the crowded as best they could. The pizzas were tasty. The drink station was a little messy, but not terrible. We sat outside in a shaded area, but we had to switch out one of the tables we occupied since it was super wobbly. We grabbed a napkin dispenser from a table that had one, but it was broken so that it opened every time you pulled a napkin. If you're in the area already, it's not a bad for a quick bite. read more

Super fun! They have a few different kinds of crusts including a gluten free one. You can choose your own toppings or get one with standard toppings. Also if you prefer you can get a half pizza and a salad. The pizzas come out slightly charred and are a gooey tasty treat! read more

I'm impressed how efficient they are. Lines are long especially during the holidays, but everyone working the line is doing everything right. It helps on our end that the toppings are nicely labeled. I like how I can pick all my toppings. Though I do love sauce and this crust may not hold it all up. I still think it's good and convenient for the price of just under $12 and I like how I can share this for the price. There's a bunch of restaurants close by but this one is probably the least expensive and maybe the quickest, & most efficient. I'd come back for those simple details. It's not my most fave pizza but it definitely does the job with efficiency, flavor, and affordability. I like sitting outside. It's nice with the view of the Xmas tree too, & there is shade, & dog friendly. Use their app to check for promos! read more

This has got to be one of my most favorite of pizza experiences to come along in quite some time! The fact that it's an assembly line pizza is fantastic. The build your own option allows for choice of sauce, cheeses, meats, veggies, and spices. They even have fresh roasted garlic you can ask for extra extra amounts. You can load your pizza up with everything for one price, too (it was like 10.95 for a personal size). Then, to cook it. It's like 4 minutes and it's completely cooked and the crust is well done, which I love. They bring it right to your table. Yum! Waits are short, food is very filling, and staff are great! read more

This place has went downhill considerably in recent months. Employees are lazy and lack any sort of motivation or drive to do their jobs. Just getting one to walk over and take your order is a major ordeal. When they do work they're impersonating corpses raised from the dead and forced to work. I blame this on this place's management not holding anyone accountable as clearly nobody is worried about losing their job. Pizza is standardized so it's impossible for them to screw that up. Or how about if the place opens up at 10:30 there's no reason why at 11:15 one of the workers is still trying to fill the pepper shakers. Which there were none on any table, but go figure the ones that she eventually put out first went to only tables with nobody sitting at them. If I move slower than the other employee they'll have to do the work. Congrats blaze management this is your business model. They don't care so I don't care. Not going back!!! read more

It's been a long time since my last review here when the place was filthy. They really brightened the place up. Got to move furniture some new umbrellas and new fans and lighting really look nicer, but they still can't seem to keep the tables and chairs clean. It's outdoor seating so I understand it's hard to keep bird poop off of the seats, but they really need to find a solution to that. They also never wiped the tables down in between customers, and I finally found one clean table and that's because it never gets used because it wobbles too much to put food on it! They just can't seem to get their act together with cleaning and maintaining with the place. It's too bad. read more

Very bland and flavorless, we ordered Togo and brought it back to the condo and was disappointed. Very simple pizza place. Crust was a little burnt but just could have been a one off. Might give it another chance next year. read more

My husband loves Blaze Pizza so we go there often. Tonight's experience was not typical but warrants a review. We always sit outside and that area was alarmingly dirty. Most of the tables had no napkins and the area where we deposit trash and return the pizza pans was filthy. Inside, there was no ice in the soda machine and my husband's beer was warm. We usually take home some of our pizza and there were no carry-out boxes so I had to get one from a worker. A very disappointing meal. read more

Mackenzie was wonderful. She came and checked on us and was kind.. Every visit the food is so fresh and tasty.

This was a good pizza for the style etc... In this league I think the pieolegy chain has a superior pizza, but this was pretty good. Staff was nice, efficient and the pizza came out quickly. The dining room could be a little cleaner as I had to clean my own table I would come back again if in the area. read more

This my 3rd visit and will chalk it up to a bad night because I've had 2 other great experiences. I asked for a little extra dressing on my Caesar and got a goop salad which I can't even eat. I ordered a salad and gluten free pizza for delivery. The worst ! The crust was raw , soggy . I asked for two kinds of cheese . There was a tiny bit of cheese on one slice . So much green peppers I couldn't find the pepperoni . Can get a better salad at Publix . Cheap bottles dressing and the parm maybe came from the green can . Spoke to the manager. I was leaving in the AM back to Miami so I could not go by there to get a "pizza card". He told me the owner stopped their ability to do refunds and hung up on me, read more

As I left the Dr office in SRQ, hungry, my first thought was head over to Utc mall to find lunch & then it hit me ... BLAZE ! I've been here twice, first time I overloaded my pizza, just too excited at the vast choice of toppings. Second time I was sensible and Voila, perfection! The best decision of all was the 1/2 pizza and salad. I chose just a few toppings (no meats) and let my guy TY choose my salad. A berry salad (was between that and a Caesar), fresh greens and delicious. My only revisions would be a bit less dressing, added later on the line and a bit more well done on the pizza. But all in all, a delightful lunch, brought to the table straight from the oven and a meal out for under $15.00, hard to find these days. Blaze, and TY are keepers ! read more

Pizza was sooo good. The thin crust was magnificent and cooked to a crisp. I highly recommend build your own pizza, the toppings are all good and the servers give great portion sizes. All of the workers there are so nice as well. Only thing not making it a 5 was the slightly disappointing cheesy bread and the bathroom sink was a little slow/weak. read more

McKenzie was such a nice server! And the food was so good. I would definitely come back to eat again

Been looking for a place like this since moving to Florida. You get to create your own pizza subway/chipotle style and it doesn't take long to come out. 3 pizzas, cheeses bread and cinnamon bread all for $35. Hard to beat fro 3 people. read more

Before we went to UTC we decided to go to Blaze Pizza. It was our first time eating there. I have to give this place 5 stars. The pizza was awesome. I prefer thin crust. The Greek salad was the best. Love how the bowl is designed for the salad. Everything we ordered was fresh. The service was excellent and those we interacted with were very pleasant and polite. Ambiance was good. The price very reasonable. One of the several places we will go back to. Cleanliness was another reason we would go back. I learned if the entrance door and floor are dirty, not swept, tables not wiped down and stuff around the food area, walk out. The first things I looked at as soon as I walked in. Door, floor and tables. Especially the tables. I would recommend this place before going to UTC to walk it off. Thank you to the management and the employees of this facility for doing a job well done. Take pride in what you do. read more

Quality is great. MacKenzie was such a kind and great help to our visit today! Definitely coming back!

I was really excited that a Blaze pizza opened up in Sarasota but gosh this location is consistently chaotic. As a family we have been going to the one in winter park location and that one has a dedicated employee who is continuously keeping the tables and floor clean and goes to every table asking if there is anything else they need. The employees who take your order and build your pizza and process your transaction are all efficient and kind and smiling. This university location however is the exact opposite. It's always dirty. The one who takes your order never places the pizza sheets in the right order. An employee grabbed the name of someone who was standing behind me in line and started building her pizza instead of putting the sheet aside and finding mine because hello, I'm the next one in line, I should be addressed first. The person behind me had to get in front of me and go first and the employee made it seem like I'm the problem. They all rush you through the pizza building, barely adding any cheese or toppings and being super messy. No smiles, no respect, just many teenagers and college students working there with zero desire to actually work. I asked for a side Caesar salad 3 times. They never made it for me or served to me as I paid for our meals. After the 3rd time a young gentleman finally got someone to make it for me. We have been to this location many times whenever we visit Sarasota and every single time it's like this. And honestly the employees are not the issue. It's management. If management is failing, than everything else goes down with it. Who ever the manager is, please make it a point to keep this location clean, please make it a point to hire and train staff who are kind and care about the details from taking the orders, building the orders and cooking those pizzas which is a whole other topic : they always either burn my gluten free pizza or serve it to me soggy. read more

Blaze Pizza - An undercooked gluten free crust. I wish they would get it right at this location because I love blaze - Salad Near Me - Sarasota, Florida

The gluten free pizza is really good, but it is hit or miss if there is cross contamination. I have gotten pretty sick from my pizza being contaminated. I would recommend taking a gluten digest pill if you have a gluten allergy. Service can be hit or miss. Some days are really good, other days not so much. Just depends on who is working. Always appreciate the outdoor seating. read more

The food was great! The pizza was well balanced with the toppings to sauce ratio, and very well cooked. There was quite a few yummy options as far as crust, sauces and toppings. The only thing the experience was missing for me- the restaurant didn't feel like the kind you want to sit back and hang out at. There wasn't comfortable seating, no one greeted or acknowledged us. We would come back, just might grab it to go! read more

the food is good and this place is one of the best places in the world and ya thank blaze pizza!!

Blaze is usually my family's go to especially when we are traveling. I've eaten at four other locations multiple times in other parts of the state, so I know what it should look and taste like. This definitely does not meet their standard. The sauce was so thin you could literally see the crust and the cheese was skimped on as well, so that didn't help cover the bald spots. This literally was the driest pizza I've come across- Imagine if this was intro to Blaze- it's a good thing I know better. read more
