I've only come here for pickup but my sandwich is always pretty good! Only negative is sometimes they forget to put little Mayo packets in the bag, I usually get the packets on the side so my sandwich doesn't get soggy. Just something to double check! i visited this Jimmy Johns when they first opened on a Sunday morning , the restaurant looked clean , the chips were lined up and presented nicely, of course i came for the famous pickelwich sandwich which has been all over my socials , i decided to try the turkey picklewich and asked for a side of peppers since i know the sandwich is uncustomizable and also picked a bag of pickle chips , im glad i tried this limited time offering it was very good ,the price should have been lower for the sandwich because of the size but overall my experience was good and the food was delicious ! read more

The music is loud and it's Christian revival music. This wasn't once but the last 2 times I've tried to eat there. I walked out yesterday when "Jesus is my savior" was repeated over and over on the song they were playing. Just wanted a sandwich, chips and soda. I opted for the #12 - Beach Club: TURKEY, PROVOLONE & AVOCADO SPREAD cucumber, lettuce, tomato & mayo. Added sweet peppers, xtra cucumbers, pickled onions, extra Mayo, jimmy johns mustard. Tell me, does this not sound AMAZINGLY GOOD?!?! Yummmm, right? Well, I'm here to tell ya... NOPE! This was one of the most bland hoagies I have EVER had. This includes hoagies from service stations. WOW! If it wasn't so far away, I'd take this crap back and get a refund. A mistake I certainly will not be repeating. PROS: 1. The establishment looks very clean and well kept. 2. The employee that helped me was very well mannered, accommodating and professional Cons: 1. The 'fresh baked' cookies at the register were ROCK HARD! CRIME! 2. Provolone is the ONLY cheese. The most bland of all the cheeses is the ONLY option? CRIME! 3. There is no way to heat the sandwiches. WHAT?!? I can't toast my hoagie? CRIME!! 4. Incredibly bland hoagie. I even added: xtra Mayo, mustard, hots, oregano & black pepper. STILL this hoagie is incredibly flavorless. Turkey was there but I didn't taste any flavor really. The provolone is well, bland af provolone so... you know how that was. Tomatoes are there but have no flavor. CRIME! 5. The amount of avocado for all 16" may have been equivalent to 1 tsp. WHACK!!! CRIME! 6. I'm guessing everything is kept in a chilled water bath or something, sucking out all the flavors. CRIME! 7. I got the Giant (16") hoagie. This sandwich was near $20. For a Hoagie?!?!? Get outta here. NEVER AGAIN! CRIME! CRIME! CRIME! Final Verdict: Lesson learned. I won't be a repeat customer. There are far better sandwich/ hoagie options with stellar flavor. This location is bad. Will ask Corp for a refund on Monday. Upon entering you are greeted and the cashiers are friendly. The overall place is clean. There was a trash can sitting directly in the middle of the kitchen area though. There were no other customers in the place. Which is usually a red flag. But since C-19. It's not really. But I kinda wish I would have just left. Upon getting the food back to the office kitchen. I noticed the sub "Cut in two" was a little lightweight and also looking skinny in the wrapper. Upon opening it I knew exactly why. Barely and I mean barely any meat and any toppings on a $15 sub. Also the bread was nowhere near fresh and with the very low amount of meat and toppings. You can't taste nothing but the hard bread really. COMPLETE RIP-OFF. Also upon calling the location to complain and ask for a replacement. The girl says that is the correct portion for a $15 Sub. I've heard awesome things about thee JJ. Plus the fact that I love a good sammich. Any who, went to try this place out and was thoroughly excited. When I walked in everyone greeted me with a friendly hello, which I loved! I tried the beach club which is basically a turkey sandwich with avocado. I must admit I was a bit underwhelmed. There wasn't anything particularly special or great about the sandwich. Aside from it being 8 inches it wasn't exceptionally stuffed like other subs I have had. The contents were fresh from the roll to the veggies. I was a little bummed regarding the choice of sides and veggies, they should have had more options. My friend got the gargantuan and said it was awesome. Can't say that I would go out of my way to go back, but I must admit that I am a little curious about that gargantuan.... Hmm. read more

My hubby and we're coming through the city on our way home. We wanted something quick. So we both thought we wanted a sandwich. Hubby suggested JJ. We surpassed the one downtown because of parking and came to this on. Me: Club Lulu. No Mayo, No Tomatoes add mustard Hubby: Italian Club, everything no tomatoes So we got 2 subs, 2 chips, 1 pickle, 1 drink. Paid $22.08 Got all the way to Arbutus and....... Our bread was hard as brick. My sandwich barely had and mustard. His sandwich was so oily it was dripping every where. Not happy about wasting 20+ dollars. So happy to have a Jimmy John's in the Baltimore area. This place makes great sandwiches with tasty bread and shredded lettuce. It's a great little spot next to the Harris Teeter, and you will be amazed by how quickly they get the sandwich out to you. I am a big fan of their Turkey Tom and their Veggie sandwich, but all of them seem to be tasty. Large sized "club sandwich" do NOT necessarily include bacon - so ask - and they are HUGE. No hot foods and sides consist of chips and soda and that's it! I work nearby and am here frequently for a quick lunch. The food is fast and efficient. Customer service is ok, never had an issue there. The one reason I give 3 stars instead of 5 is purely because it is impossible to enjoy lunch IN the restaurant. I understand music is part of the establishment, but when it is so loud that I cannot even order without yelling, then it is too loud! Let alone try to listen to a podcast with headphones. My entire workplace orders here frequently when a quick meal is needed stat. Sometimes they forget to cut your sub or bring your chips--especially if you order online. But they always bring your chips if you call. And we have a knife at work so that isn't a huge deal. Their itialian vingarette is good-order extra. I get the #9. Always. I love Jimmy John's subs. They are fresh and the same no matter where you go. The poor rating is due to this location's inadequate service skills. They have never gotten one order right. We continue to return because of my love for the sandwiches but they are the worst at including all ingredients on a sandwich or otherwise including the extras you paid for. To their credit, we did recieve a full refund on our last order because they forgot to include our chips, pickles, and desserts. Usually Love jimmy johns but rude service can detour me from eating anywhere. I ordered the Beach sub to try it and decided once I started eating it that I could use some hot peppers on it. Simple request right, wrong. I asked the girl at the counter for some peppers and she said she had nothing to put them in. I looked at the counter at the complimentary water glasses and said what about those and she said no. I said just throw some on a napkin, I don't care how I would just like some for my sandwhich, again she said no and that its not something they do. All I wanted were some hot peppers on the sub. Finally I asked if I could hand my sub to them and they would put peppers on it. She then turned to the manager and asked and that was given the OK. So I had to hand my 1/4 eaten sub the the girl at the counter only for her to hand it to the guy making the subs. All the while they made me feel like it was me being the huge inconvienence. I didn't appreciate the downright terrible customer service there. This sucks because I was really excited for it to open but now I will be going to the downtown location which is much more of an inconvience for me. read more
