Pulled up to the scene near closing time, but that did not deter the staff from being incredibly personable and polite. I felt as if I were a member of the extended Jimmy John's family. The employee who took my order had the heirs of being a professional at their craft and I felt very safe in their hands. While I have made appearances at many a Jimmy John's establishment in my day, this particular location certainly made it into my top 10. The unmistakable trademark JJ decor was on full display and the numerous seating options left me spoiled for choice. Unfortunately we scarfed down our sandies in the car, but the entire time I was thinking about how I would have loved to be sitting in one of the comfortable looking chairs I saw. Ordered a #9 (Italian Nightclub for the layman) and polished it off in no time flat. Delicious. Scrumptious even. I experienced flavor combinations I did not even know were possible. The juxtaposition of the textures of the crispy yet firm bread with the tender and smooth deli meat was certainly something to write home about. Will most certainly have to run that back. read more

I manage a local store, between my staff and I, we eat here every other day roughly. There has never been any major issues with any aspect of this JJ's location. The staff has always been prompt in asking for our order. The subs are always built freaky fast. From a sales perspective, i have even had the cashier try and odd on a bag of chips, cookie, pickle, or water (which i declined, but appreciated). If i had to have a complaint about this location it would probably be geared to a select few drivers. I get that JJ's prizes itself on delivery and production times. However, occasionally some of the drivers sometimes seem like they develop horse blinders when running across the street, rushing to get through the door before you, or by ignoring you when you ask a question. This is seriously one of the worst JJ's in the nation! I got a #13 vegetarian and literally its bread, cheese and, mayo. Did you not have enough lettuce? I swear these college kids don't know how to make a sandwich. I took it on the train back to Chicago and am choking this sad ass sandwich down. As always, Jimmy John's has quick service. What makes this and all other Jimmy John's in A2 special is that they are one of the first cities to try the new rewards program. I think directions on the app need to be clearer; I thought the rewards program only worked for delivery or pick up orders. However, the cashier at this Jimmy John's was kind enough to help me figure the rewards program out. It turns out that you just need to enter ​your phone number at the register in order for the rewards to work. read more

I visited the Jimmy John's location at 5101 Bingle rd. Suite 101 , Houston., Texas 77092. I honestly hadn't realized that I had arrived at 5 minutes before closing time. Just two team members on duty and they completed my order of eight sandwiches with a smile. And after being in the restaurant business myself for over 30 years I noticed that they didn't lock the door with me inside , they quickly completed the order. When I arrived, there were three people apparently waiting in the store. After I stood there for 5 minutes, it was apparent that NONE of them had been waited on. Finally a store employee asked if we had been waited on. During this time, 2 other people walked in the store and quickly left. All of us ordered in a timely fashion and it was quickly apparent that NONE of the orders were large (a couple of subs, one sub, one sub). Then we waited. What was remarkable was that my order (which took at least another 5 minutes, maybe 10) was the first done even though I had order after the three people in front of me. The stores was NOT under-staffed but was apparently "busy" with online orders and too busy to even inquire with those entering store whether they were there for pickups or in-store ordering. I was a student at the University of Virginia, and one of the student body's staple restaurants was Jimmy John's for the convenience and reliability. I was originally unaware that it was a chain, but was happily surprised when I recognized a restaurant in Ann Arbor. If you've never been inside Jimmy John's, it has a simple deli feel to it, with factory-like efficiency. Line lengths are variable, with peak hours being a little slower. The food quality is similar to Subway, with slightly more flavor. Based on price point and quality, I'd recommend Jimmy John's for late-night food, or when you're on-the-go and need something quick to eat. read more

I am the queen of the sandwich...not sure how I've never made it to a JJ's before! They get it right with fresh bread, meats & toppings and "freakishly fast" service. I tried the #5 Vito (aka Italian) sub - salami, capicola & provolone with lettuce, tomatoes & vinagrette (I skipped the onions - white onions aren't my thing). It's a long sandwich - very bready, not a ton of meats & toppings in each bite, but I couldn't finish my sandwich. I would think that my husband might be a little hungry after just the sandwich. The chips were just okay (lots of icky black marks on the chips). This location is fast, polite and has plenty of parking. Definitely worth a stop if you want a sandwich on the run. read more

Order regularly from them for delivery to my office. They are super quick, but not the most accurate. I would say they are batting about .500 for accuracy with my order. Usually small things, like...I asked for the sandwich cut in half...alas it is not or requested a halved pickle...alas it is in fourths. Whenever I'm home in Ann Arbor, I always stop at JJ's for a lunch. At $4.25 for the 8" subs and $5.25 for the larger sandwiches (on wheat or sub bread) with double meat, this is a STEAL. These are basic, not fru fru sandwiches. Don't look for fancy spreads or a wide variety of ingredients. I always ordered the Turkey Tom with avocado ($75 cents extra for the avocado), but realized today I might as well just order the $5.25 Beach Club (essentially the large Turkey Tom + provolone and avocado spread) and get extra meat too. I am usually a whole wheat girl, but the white sub bread here is just so good. The wheat is also good, and all of the fillings are fresh and tasty. Plus the diet coke in their fountains just always seems better than everywhere else (sad that I notice this, but I'm a fountain DC connoisseur). This was the first day I went to the Plymouth road JJ (trying to avoid downtown Art Fair craziness), and it was solid but not differentiated from the others. They are all the same - fast and reliable. My current hometown of Boston seems to be the only college town in the country lacking a Jimmy John's, so hopefully JJ's makes a move there soon. read more

Jimmy John's is well....Jimmy John's. I feel like you get the same quality no matter what one you go to. I was ordering for four of us so sent in my order online and arrived 10 min later to pick it up. Order was not ready so I waited around for 5 min, no big deal. I have a guilty secret: I love Jimmy John's. Despite it being the default catered meal for all our school events, I have specific cravings for their sandwiches. Furthermore, these cravings are not satisfied by my own creations of the same sandwiches--I have to get a JJ tuna sandwich on their soft, lightly browned french bread or most recently a salty roast beef sandwich, with dijon added. As someone who gets easily overwhelmed with topping choices, etc. I like JJ better than Subway or Potbelly's because of it's simplicity. In addition, as someone lactose intolerant I don't feel like I'm missing anything by opting out of cheese since their standard 8" subs generally don't include it. I may even go so far as to say that Jimmy John's is the one food spot I have grown somewhat attached to since moving here from the West Coast, and would potentially miss when I leave. read more

My lunch has to be timely because I have to clock in and out. I ordered online the first time for delivery between 1:15 and 1:30pm, to have it arrive just at 1:30pm--when I had to go back to work. This time I thought it would be smart to order for delivery between 1pm-1:15pm, so then the driver started calling me at 12:48pm. I snuck out to get it, but I will never order from them again. I have a fixed lunch time of 1pm-1:30pm so this is not working out. I had sworn them off anyway due to one former classmate saying he worked there and the tomatoes arrived sliced and slimey--had to hose them down. Another time, there was a bad stomach flu outbreak after a bunch of IT coworkers had catering from them. I think I've learned my final lesson--stay away from Jimmy Johns. read more

THIS JIMMY'S HAS BETRAYED ME FOR THE LAST TIME... It all started when my besties and I wanted to order online. Now lets note that I am a loyal customer to this location ordering for delivery several times a week or more. Now, for the most part, they are decently fast and USUALLY not dicks, (some aren't so pleasant). WELL, today changed everything. It all began with my card not working. I know for a fact that I have sufficient funds. So I call the location and they place me on hold for 10 minutes and 16 seconds to then argue with me and berate me and tell me that I should call again in 15 minutes and, "try again" or to drive to the location and pay with cash. They WOULD NOT take my card OR take a check. When asking if they could at least take my order over the phone, he said, "thanks" and abruptly hung up. So lit as hell and at the point of starvation, I drive all of the way there, stopping at an ATM and paying a $4 ATM fee, then I go in. The gentleman on the phone was there AND was so rude upon my arrival. No sympathy was given and no apology for the inconvenience. Then, after waiting well over 10 minutes for only 4 sandwiches, he slides them over the counter and said, "HERE." I asked if I could have a bag and he said, "They're right there." SUPER RUDE I'm PISSED corporate will be getting a call from me shortly. I'm not going to deny that I've never really been a fan of JJ. Been to several different locations in a couple of different states and always leave feeling like I've paid too much for subpar food. Today was no exception. I was sick all day and wanted something plain and simple. My husband and I decided on this JJ over Zoup next door. I ordered a turkey slim with just turkey, cheese, and mayo. I had forgotten about their ridiculous rule of not being able to add mayo on their slim sandwiches. Okay, whatever, just give me a packet. Even though it is stupid and doesn't make any sense. But whatever. Get my sandwich home and it is just blah. Apparently just what I was looking for as it was plain and simple. I spread my single mayo packet onto my dry ass turkey slices and bit down into hard, cold bread. Like, I literally could tap music onto my bread. Doesn't make any sense. So, JJ, no mas for me, thank you very much. You're just not that good. Honestly, if you would go the extra mile and put fucking mayonnaise on my fucking subpar sandwich I probably would be cool. I work as a cashier and can say that the service I received is completely unacceptable. Not only was the cashier on his phone when I walked in, I had to wait several seconds before I had to fake cough to get his attention. He then took my order of a simple large drink with complete disinterest. After handing him a dollar seventy five for a one fifty nine large drink he took my money then said "your all set" closing the drawer without giving me any change and began serving the next customer. I had never before tried or even heard about Jimmy John's prior to moving to Michigan. Now ever since my first JJ's gourmet sandwich I can't get enough!! They freshly bake their bread daily, use the best and tastiest meats, and are known for giving "freakishly" fast service! Who wouldn't love that? The sandwich giants have nothing on JJ 's, in fact they could learn a thing or two about quality and freshness. If you haven't tried JJ's I strongly recommend that you do! Literally worst service ever. I Work right across the street but am on lunch and didnt have time to go over there and pick it up so i ordered for delivery. After an forty five minutes of not recieving my order i called to check up on it they said its on its way. After another twenty minutes of not arriving, I called AGAIN and they said none of their drivers have my order, or the recepit didnt print and they didnt even make it. 15 minutes later and i still do not have my order and im less than a quarter mile of the way.
