The food quality is okay. However, the service is always slow. A 20 to 45-minute wait on any order is standard here. With prices rising all the time the least I can expect is have food delivered at a reasonable time. The dining area also has gotten progressively worse. It's often dirty. They also took away the drink machines. This McDonalds feels mismanaged. They have a lot of traffic and business. They should really invest in improving their service. I had to go into the store and ask for my order directly. I will acknowledge that employee came out & wiped off tables when I was there. The ordering/cashier areas were clean as well as the fountain drink and condiments area. I've been sitting in the drive-thru at the McDonald's on Plymouth Road (right in front of Kroger) for 25 damn minutes for a Filet-O-Fish, six-piece nuggets, and a double cheeseburger -- nothing complicated, nothing special. Just the most basic fast food order imaginable. This place is a complete disaster. The staff clearly does not give a shit. There's no urgency, no apology, just a painful, glacial crawl of cars waiting for food that should've been ready 20 minutes ago. It's called "fast" food for a reason -- but here it's more like "test your patience while your food gets cold" food. People fight here, nights usually have 30 minute wait or longer, the employees here get my orders wrong all the time, and the line is just unbearable. Clean, recently updated McDonalds. Located in the parking lot of a bust strip mall. Updated two lane drivethru. Inside is a fairly clean dining area, with a small drink service area, and a small order counter and 4 of the oversized TV ordering stations, each with empty hand sanitizer attached. While traveling through the area recently, Nate and I made a quick stop at this McDonald's drive through for a bite to eat. It's located in a bit of a weird area and doesn't have the golden arches outside, but we found it close to the gas station we stopped at. Only one of the two drive through lanes were open, but it wasn't busy with only one car ahead of us. Our order was taken quickly, but we were told that they had "no drinks" available when I asked for a Diet Coke with my meal. No explanation or anything, just that they didn't have any drinks. I thought that was hilarious, and I had a water bottle in the car, so I was ok with it. Just not something I've ever run into at a McDonald's, even during pandemic times. The employees we encountered were both friendly and polite. The food was super fresh and all hot, which was greatly appreciated. Me and my family went through the drive through this morning, I got almost fully done with my sandwich until I realized the egg was bad and moldy. I am currently pregnant so it completely and totally grossed me out, I felt sick to my stomach. Placed a mobile order over 15 minutes before they close (which is apparently 11pm now.... ) got to the drive through with ten minutes before eleven and was told "we are not accepting drive thru orders anymore" (this is disregarding the three cars in front of me that are at the window getting their food). DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME/MONEY HERE! This review says 1 star, but that's because zero stars isn't an option. Here's just one example of the many horror stories I've had here. I had placed my order on the mobile app. Waited 30-40min in line which is outrageous for fast food, but that is expected at this McDonalds because this McDonalds has always been disgustingly slow. When I had gotten to the window to get my food, they had claimed I drove off so they cancelled my order. I had waited in line the whole time, so I was very confused why they would say this. I asked them on why they had claimed I left and what I should do, and they suggested I reorder and get back in line because they couldn't do anything about it. At this point the line is even longer (another 40 min wait maybe), so I had just angrily left. To me, their response is such a shit way to treat customers for a mistake THEY had made. This isn't the first time this McDonalds has done me dirty, but this is definitely the last straw and the last time I go there. I truly love McDonalds in general, so I try to come once in a while to give this place a second chance, but I always end up waiting too long (30+ min) only to receive cold and stale food every time. This place is at a low point, perhaps, at the moment. Around 11 am Friday: drive thru busy, inside busy. The floors are dirty, although I have seen worse. In Women's bathroom "occupied" indicates available, and "available" indicates free. Can order with app, online, in person, at kiosk, or thru two drive-thru windows. I don't think staff have figured out yet how to manage this yet. One person came in and did not want to use kiosk: 1 of 4 was out of service. Worker did not want to take order at counter, and argued with customer who really did not want to use kiosk. I understood why because I used the kiosk. I selected the eat here option, but got stuck because it wanted me to enter a tent number, but it was unclear where the tents were (these were at the pickup counter: once you see them it's fine). I tried to go for takeaway, but you cannot backtrack easily so I cancelled and started over. My order # appeared on screen then disappeared. I had to get person to help and they forgot to give me the drink cup. My burger was lopsided with melted cheese hanging off side and mayo dripping from bottom. Either sloppily assembled or roughly handled. Perhaps it was dropped? I hope not on the floor. Did I mention state of the floors? Well this McDonalds has never been good, I've gotten sick from them before, but it being late I thought I'd try again. They just reached an all time low. The other day, I was driving home late at night (around midnight maybe?) and after a very long hard day was rather starving. Heard this McD was 24 hours, verified on their site, drove way out of my way to get there. Waited in a rather long line. Get up to the window, just wanted to order a McDouble and a drink quick and easy, and was 'greeted' in the most nasty shouting tone ...DOOR DASH ONLY! They adamantly refused to take my order, despite me being right there with cash just wanting a damn burger. The lady got ruder and ruder, eventually screaming at me that she JUST DIDN"T F***KING CARE and telling this customer to F*CK OFF. I was just stunned. If this is the quality of staff you can afford, just shut the f down already. The whole POINT of places like this, is to be able to go and quickly get a cheap and simple meal. Instead I got nothing but abuse. I don't have the tech, nor or the money, to be ordering from door dash. I've seen their fees...so how much does that make my poor mc double? It also just wasn't clear whether they meant door dash and you go get it or only door dash dasher allowed. This policy is highly discriminatory towards wealthier people with fancy phones. Get to the first window and are told our order is "partially approved" and that we still owed over $7. After arguing with the manager and seeing the receipt from the store it is because they didn't honor ANY of the online deals. Don't order online at this store. read more
