I came to the drive thru at 10:00 which is 2 hours before close and was "greeted" with silence for about 2 minutes. When I tried to place my order with the mobile app code, I was trying to be considerate and apologized that it was somewhat large. I was told to "Fuck myself" and that I must have been taunting the lady at reception with that comment. Any point in which I tried to clarify and apologize if I offended I was met with her screaming "BYE" or "Leave now" over the speaker. By far the worst service in town. After thinking about my visit to this McDonalds, it seems to me that there's an employee training issue at hand. The visit started out fine with the polite manager taking our order which simply consisted of 3 McFlurries, which sounds like an easy order to fill. One employee started making them when I noticed another employee bringing a mop and bucket to the area behind the cash registers near the ice cream machine. I watched to see what needed mopping as a third employee came to help wring out the mop. But, I never saw anything being mopped up behind the counter. Hmm.... strange. Meanwhile the first lady was continuing to make our 3 McFlurries, when the two who were using the mop and bucket stopped doing whatever it was that they were doing with it and decided to assist in making the McFlurries. Now we had all 3 making the 3 McFlurries but the two ladies only helped for a few seconds because I think a drive thru order needed answering and the french fry machine needed tending to. McFlurry number one was made and handed to us, followed by the second one. I told the two in my party to go have a seat because mine would be done in a minute. Nope. Mine sat on the ledge of the machine while the employee that was supposed to be making them just walked away. Was there a sudden problem that needed tending to where my McFlurry was suddenly abandoned? Nope. I made eye contact with the manager when he was taking another order, he gave me a puzzled look like, 'what's going on with your McFlurry'? He turned to the machine, saw mine sitting there abandoned and stated sternly to the employee who was coming from the dining area, to 'finish this please'. It appeared all my McFlurry needed was the scoops of Reese's Peanut Butter Cup added to it and mixed. But I don't know why she left the job and wandered to the dining area. Anyways, I finally received my McFlurry and even though it wasn't mixed up well, I did enjoy the big chunks of unmixed peanut butter goodness. But then as we were enjoying our frozen treats, we overheard an employee telling the manager loud enough for the diners to hear, that the windows at the lobby entrance were dirty and needed cleaning.... nice.... Just what you want to hear when you're enjoying a refreshing treat.... not. Last but not least, I needed a wet wipe from the dispenser, but.... no wet wipes were there.... empty. So, this visit was a comedy of errors and I can only give 2 stars. read more

Big fan of the sausage mcmuff. My bro likes his nugs. However, this is the slowest fast food place I have been to in my entire life. I have been to this mcdonalds multiple times, and every time their service is slow. I have never written a yelp review before, but I have gotten bored waiting in this (not large) line for 30 mins straight. I was about to submit my review when I got to the window and was told that my order had not been taken. UPDATE: What's up crew it's Jibs again, back at the ol Mickey Ds. Even with two drive-thru, this place is very busy... it's also a heavy traffic area for local high school kids and when I stopped by, I had to wait about 20 minutes from pulling into the drive-thru to paying and picking up the food... I haven't been to this location in ages and this past experience reminded my why I don't go here often.... it's a busy place and expect to spend some time... my order was simple, so there was no mix-up, thankfully... Since it's by major businesses, expect the unexpected... stay away from lunch time, dinner time and mid afternoon snack time by the high school kids and late awaking college kids :) read more

I stopped at the drive-through today at 7pm, the operative word is stopped. There were 4 cars in front of me so I figured it wouldn't take long. When ten minutes had passed and the line hadn't moved at all I got anxious but was blocked in by another car in back of me. After 25 minutes had passed and the person in front of me STILL hadn't gotten their food I was 15 minutes late for where I had to be so I had to leave despite already having paid for my food. Not a big deal if this was the first time they've left off ordered items. In other instances we've missed Sweet & Sour sauce (my kids tell me nuggets do NOT taste good without this!!), fries, drinks, etc. This seems to happen a bit more often than necessary at this restaurant location. In all fairness, service overall at this location is usually good, friendly, and accurately delivered by a typically youthful staff member. I go to this McDonald's on occasion when in Ann Arbor for a coffee drink or sweet tea for my wife. On my most recent visit I bought a large mocca frappe and drank it outside while waiting for my wife. As I got ready to leave, I pulled up to the drive through window and ordered a large sweet tea with no ice for her to drink later. The employee informed me that they didn't serve sweet tea without ice as it is a health code violation. I don't know about you, but that's the first I've ever heard of such a thing. I know for a fact that you can go inside and buy an empty cup and put whatever you want in it. I think I smell a bunch of baloney here! Worst McDonald's I have ever visited! I don't know how they keep their franchise. The list of things wrong with this place is so long that it is hard to know where to start. The basic problem must be the owner, because they determine the managers and the managers here are among the worst you will find anywhere. It would be tough to do a worse job at managing than they do here. The place is filthy dirty everywhere. Trash on the floor, counter and tables that are covered with grime, bathrooms that had feces on the doors and walls, and even the order counter was covered with grease and grime. Completely disgusting! We waited forever, (15 minutes) to order, and then had to wait twenty minutes for the food only to find that there was a problem with food. We tried correct the problem with the person who gave us the food order, but she couldn't understand what the issue was. She seemed to lack the intellectual capacity to understand the problem so we asked for the manager, she said "I am the manager!" Holy crap! She was so stupid. She then proceeded to simply ignore us by turning her back on us and walking away. This explains everything about this place, horrible management. There were so many "workers" just standing around doing nothing. One "worker" was standing behind the register talking to his friend about some drug fest that they went to the night before while people were waiting to give their order. The manager seemed oblivious to any of the issues happening right in front of her face. Extra charge for everything that normally would be complimentary.
