We tried their Italian, sub of the week and caprese with chicken. All of the sandwiches were delicious and huge. Definitely shareable but you won't want to share because they are that good. The vinaigrette on the subs is heavenly. I also can't leave without getting the beet salad, tomato/mozzerella, and the pasta salad. All of them are so good. The beets are so fresh and light - they are my favorite. If you go early enough you can also snag some Sfogliatella or rainbow cookies. They also have a variety of cakes in different varieties and flavors. In addition to fresh offerings, they have a variety of Italian grocery items from pastas and sauces, to cookies and wafers, to canned or pickled veggies. Definitely an Orlando staple that you have to try!

That personal touch makes the experience feel extra special. A heads-up on parking; the lot is pretty small and shared with a brewery, so it can get a little tricky. With a bit of patience, though, you should be able to find a spot. I tried the egg and cheese breakfast sandwich, and it was so good! I love that they offer it all day. The bread was freshly made, and they use real eggs. It was perfectly seasoned that I didn't even need to add salt or pepper. I also tried their Italian wedding and rainbow cookies, both delicious. Prices are reasonable for the quality you receive. They have a deli, where you can pick up fresh meats, they have a coffee bar, with a selection of desserts, and a little shopping area where you can pick up authentic Italian pantry staples like pasta and sauces. Seating includes a few bar seats along the back wall and covered outdoor tables. I'll definitely be back to try more of the menu, especially the chicken parm sandwich. Between the quality of the food, welcoming staff, and charming atmosphere, I highly recommend Stasio's.

The Vibe: From the outside, the shop is pretty unassuming, tucked into a strip mall--but that's often where the best deli spots are hiding. When we walked in, we were immediately greeted by a busy lunch rush and a fast-paced New York deli vibe, with staff cranking out sandwiches left and right. Always a good sign. What We Ordered: * Hot Rachel * Classic Italian * 1/2 lb pesto macaroni salad * 1/2 lb redskin potato salad We took everything home for lunch and... Every single thing was delicious. Sandwich Highlights: The Hot Rachel was exactly what you want from a deli sandwich--tender pastrami, melty Swiss, tangy slaw, and toasted rye all working together perfectly. Stacked high and full of flavor. My husband's Classic Italian was also fantastic, loaded with meats and that classic deli balance of flavors. Both deli salads were great, but the pesto macaroni salad was the standout--creamy, herby, and packed with flavor. We're honestly so excited to have discovered a great New York-style deli less than 10 minutes from our house. Safe to say we'll definitely be back soon to work our way through the rest of the menu. Pro tip: Don't skip the deli salads--grab one or two to share with your sandwich.

However, there's still no excuse for rude service. I walk in and go straight to the deli. If you know this place: You walk in, turn right and there is an aisle with coolers on either side. This leads to the back deli. It is cramped, but not terrible. A couple was in front of me. I could tell by the demeanor of the gentleman that they had been there a while already and the woman was asking multiple questions of the staff. No big deal. A little annoying, but some people are just talkative. This goes on, an estimate of say five minutes. Five minutes of a woman asking questions of the male staff member as the young woman staff member chimed in with information or an answer. At no point during this time did either of them acknowledge that someone was waiting or anything. No eye contact. Nothing. Finally the couple is done. The young woman behind the counter asks what I want. I order. In the middle of her slicing one of the deli meats, another customer comes up and asks for a pound of the meat she was currently slicing. Customer service will tell you to take care of customers in the order of arrival. Not according to this place. No, she decided to skip over me and service someone else. I understand that it was probably easier that way - given you might have to clean up between meats, or whatever else. And that's fine - IF YOU COMMUNICATE with the customer. The lady ordering the meat apologized. For reasons? It wasn't her fault. I appreciate it, but unnecessary. Finally after waiting for a longer time, the young woman behind the counter apologized for the delay. There never should have been a delay. Plus the sandwich was lackluster. I try to avoid big chains. I like small businesses. But when you treat people like this; why should I return?

I originally ordered sausage, egg, and cheese, but then I saw the bacon, egg, and cheese and asked whether I could switch it. The gentleman behind the counter said they could do both, then asked whether I wanted to add a hash brown too. Obviously, I said yes. He told me they would make basically anything I wanted as long as they had the ingredients, and I absolutely loved that energy. The sandwich was huge, super cheesy, messy in the best way, and packed with sausage, bacon, egg, and a crispy hash brown. It was a very generous portion and completely worth the price. This is definitely going into my breakfast-sandwich rotation. My fiancé ordered the Godfather, which was also delicious. It is definitely on the messier side, though, so if you are getting it to go or traveling any distance, I would recommend asking for the vinaigrette on the side. Ray's has strong neighborhood bodega vibes, generous portions, and the kind of menu where they are willing to customize your order instead of making things complicated. My only minor critique is that one employee could have been a little friendlier, but everyone else made the experience enjoyable. Another great visit, and we will absolutely be back.

We didn't realize they only offer bialys or sesame buns, but we were all pleasantly surprised and happy with our choices. I ordered the bacon sandwich on a jalapeño & Muenster bialy, which was delicious. My sandwich came with bacon, an over-medium egg, and smoked jalapeño cream cheese, all perfectly toasted. There were no complaints from anyone, honestly, we all ate in silence, which says a lot because we were too busy enjoying the food. The only downside is that it's not much of a dine-in spot, as they only have high-top tables and no chairs. I also got an iced cinnamon latte, which was not overly sweet and had a great espresso flavor. One of my friends ordered a hot lavender latte and really enjoyed it. We were so hungry I forgot to take pictures! If we lived closer, we'd definitely come here more often.
