    Spicy Deluxe Chicken Sandwich Combo

(12/6/2024) you can see the de-volution of the tenders over the years, just check out the photos. I guess shrinkflation gets to us all eventually, I feel like the tenders are cut in half before breading. Otherwise sufficient for flavor and cost.

Good place, we ordered a takout so not sure about their interior. However I can say they were quick, chicken was juicy and tender, fries were just made. Fresh and delicious. I would go there again! Have fun and get some tasty chicken, great place for cheat meal! Service was decent we got it from drive through so i don't know how would it be inside. P.S. My ratings are based on whether I believe I could make a better or healthier version at home. If food/drinks/service impress me, I'll be happy to come back. If not the stars reflect that.

People Dedicated to Quality (PDQ)... that's quite an ambitious mission for a regional chain chicken shop. Coming from the West Coast, this business doesn't have a presence where I live. I noted that PDQ Chicken was rated higher than most of the local competitors so I stopped by this location for a takeout order after arriving in town. The structure and interior looked modern in the mold of a Chick-fil-A but with a smaller footprint. The chicken products were sold as tenders, nuggets, and sandwiches. Each type could be prepared as crispy or grilled. Five sides were listed, two of which were items I have rarely encountered... Zucchini Fries and Parmesan Broccoli. A few salads were available for those who wanted to be extra health conscious. Shakes and cookies were the choices for the sweet tooth crowd while kids meals and family meals were offered for the youngsters and larger groups, respectively. A meal of Grilled Nuggets was my choice with Waffle Fries as a crispy side and Sweet Tea as a drink to complete the offer. Twelve small pieces of grilled white meat were placed in a plastic container with the fries and a piece of Texas toast. Supposedly, you could choose more than one of the seven signature sauces without incurring a surcharge. I picked only the Sweet Sirarcha which tasted like a mayo-based remoulade without any spiciness. It wasn't very sweet either. For $12, I'm not sure the chicken was worth it as several nuggets were dry from being overcooked. The fact that the fries and drink were included in the price was what redeemed the value of the purchase. I gave a 3.5 star rating for my late night visit to PDQ Chicken.

The staff is always friendly and delivers your food quickly. Not sure if this shift change as a few of the tables needed to be wiped down from previous guests. Ordered the grilled chicken sandwich meal with fries and drink. The chicken is well seasoned and moist. Love their waffle fries as they are lightly seasoned. Always a good option for a meal.

Drive thru staff is always friendly and efficient. My go to spot in SODO if needing to pick up fast food. Order has always been correct.

I've been here multiple times for many things on the menu and this by far was one of the best. The salad was completely fulfilling and chicken was crispy to my liking. I loved the other items on the menu and loved the quality of the food. Besides chic fil a this is one of my other favorite fast food restaurants to date. I will be back soon.

For every fast food place I visit, I always have a favorite location that I go to more than any other. For PDQ, their SODO location is my favorite. The drive thru line is never crazy, service is good, and the food always comes out perfectly. Some of my favorites include the Buffy blue sandwich, the spicy nuggets, and their grilled chicken sandwich. Their waffle fries are the best, especially with some creamy garlic sauce. Sometimes we hit this place up just for dessert and I always get the peanut butter shake. It has tons of actually peanut butter! Much love to SODO PDQ!

My wife and I recently tried PDQ for the for time. We have some coworkers that suggested we give it a try. When we entered the staff were welcoming right from the start. My wife ordered the 4 crispy tender meal, with 4 sauces: Pdq Sauce, Ranch, Honey BBQ, and Buffalo. Note: you don't get charged extra for multiple sauces. I think that's awesome. I ordered the Pdq Salad ( Chicken, mixed greens, red cabbage, carrots, cheddar & jack cheeses, tomatoes, cucumbers with the lemon chili vinaigrette) After we placed our orders we got our fountain drinks and then headed to a table. While waiting I notice a sign in the dining area that showed what PDQ stands for: People Dedicated to Quality. I thought that was pretty cool. The company is telling you how confident they are about the product. 10 minutes passes by before we got our food. The PDQ Salad was delicious. I absolutely loved the lemon chili vinaigrette. The chicken was succulent and the veggies were fresh and crisp. My wife thought the 4 crispy chicken meal was delicious. Her favorite sauce was the PDQ sauce hands down. Not to say the other sauces didn't taste good. Aside from what we had, here is a little about the menu.*Tenders- Premium tenderloins. Not Strips. Not Fingers. No added hormones or steroids. Choice of Crispy, Grilled or Spicy. *Nuggets- Premium all white meat nuggets. Choice of Crispy, Grilled or Spicy.* Tender Meals-Hand-breaded and made to order with waffle fries, choice of sauces, and regular tea or soft drink.* Nugget Meals-Hand-breaded and made to order with waffle fries, choice of sauces, and regular tea or soft drink.*Sandwiches-Chicken with no added hormones or steroids on a buttered, toasted and steamed Brioche bun. Made to order. Meal includes waffle fries, and regular tea or soft drink (*Crispy Chicken Deluxe-Crispy chicken made to order with PDQ sauce, bibb lettuce, tomato and dill pickles*Spicy Chicken Deluxe-Spicy crispy chicken breast made to order with PDQ sauce, bibb lettuce, tomato and dill pickles*Honey Butter-Crispy chicken with our signature honey butter and layered with bread and butter pickles*Buffy Bleu-2 hand-breaded crispy chicken tenders tossed in buffalo bleu sauce with lettuce*Jacked Spicy-Spicy crispy chicken breast made to order with PDQ sauce, pepper jack cheese, bibb lettuce, tomato and dill pickles*Grilled Chicken-Grilled chicken made to order with PDQ sauce, bibb lettuce, tomato and dill pickles)*Salads: Spicy PDQ Salad-Spicy crispy chicken, mixed greens, red cabbage, carrots, cheddar & jack cheeses, tomatoes, cucumbers, bleu cheese dressing; Mediterranean Salad-Grilled or crispy chicken, mixed greens, red cabbage, carrots, cucumbers & tomatoes, kalamata olives, pepperoncini, feta, hummus, lemon-chile vinaigrette; Signature salad dressings: Blueberry Vinaigrette, Honey Mustard, Bleu Cheese, Ranch, and Lemon Chili Vinaigrette. *Also they have a kids menu and here's the options: Tenders-2 crispy or grilled tenders with choice of side, kids drink and choice of one sauce*Nuggets-5 crispy or grilled nuggets with choice of side, kids drink and choice of one sauce. All and all, this was a great dinner for us. Definitely will be returning to PDQ. Aces!

Two words- ZUCCHINI FRIES!! Go here for the fries if nothing else! The service was stellar and the food was fresh and delicious! I had the Mediterranean salad which came with olives, banana peppers and FETA and the grilled chicken, but fried is also an option. My husband had the tenders with sweet sriracha sauce and Zucchini Fries with creamy garlic sauce. I love love love their zucchini fries! They have the Freestyle Coke machine which made me very happy because I love Dasani sparkling water and these machines offer 6 flavors of that! Lots of Coca Cola options and ice teas, too. The staff were masked and cleaned the tables while we were there. As we were leaving there were a line of career in the drive through but their service was expedited by a staff member taking orders curbside. I LOVE PDQ!!

Came here due to Yelp to reviews and the delicious looking pictures and figured why not take a gamble. Coming from California so trying some local spots while in town and gave this one a shot. Tried the honey butter chicken sandwich, my gf tried the grilled chicken tenders with corn, while we washed it down with an Oreo milkshake and a side of waffle fries. Good spot, quick serving of the food, and top notch customer service. Big points for having a drive thru even though we dined in. Most definitely recommend this spot for good food at a reasonable cost.

Chicken sandwich loversssssss, if you are craving a chicken Sammy and are in a rush. This is the best place to be quick and still enjoy a tasty sandwich. i usually get the Crispy chicken sandwich and it never disappoints if you like a bit more flavor the Honey or butter glazed chicken sandwich is even bettttterr!!! The fries are salted very well but I gotta say I think the best thing from this place is the sauces, the creamy garlic sauce is an addiction for me at this point and don't even get me started on their buffalo sauce. You're missing out if you haven't stopped here.

Just got a PDQ chicken sandwich at Kia center. Pathetic excuse for a sandwich, 16$ and barely has chicken on it with no toppings

Four stars for a very consistent fast casual restaurant. One of my favorites from back home, I was so excited when the Sodo location was built. I've visited this location several times and we consistently had great food and service. The chicken tenders are the best here. A good size and lots of flavor in the batter. Always so juicy and delish! They unfortunately don't have their old hand cut fries like the old days. They do have waffle fries which are still good and always crispy. Always ask for everything extra crispy! Sandwiches are great and usually the chicken breast pieces are thick and cooked to perfection. The salads are even great. We love the house made sauces. Service is usually pretty decent, if not overly friendly. Nothing wrong with that though! :) One thing that's also consistent that's knocking off a star to be a 5 star review is that the tables are always dirty. We've come when it's busy, or empty and there's no orders, the tables are always dirty and never wiped. It's unfortunate but not the worst that can happen.

I don't usually go out of my way for fast food. But today? I did. I made the trip. I committed…read more Because when it comes to Raising Cane's, I'm usually all in. That's what made this one sting a little. Let me set the stage. I pull up to the Kissimmee location already knowing what I'm getting. This place has one job. Chicken. Not a massive menu. Not a bunch of distractions. Just chicken, fries, toast, slaw. Simple. Focused. The kind of setup where you expect consistency every single time. And then the tray hit the table. The chicken? Bland. Like no one introduced it to seasoning. And somehow also soggy. You know that moment when you bite in expecting that crispy crunch and instead you get... soft confusion? Yeah. That. It honestly felt like the oil wasn't hot enough. Which is kind of a big deal when frying is your entire identity. Now here's where it gets even more frustrating. Cane's sauce is usually the safety net. It can cover a lot of sins. Underseasoned chicken? Fine. Dip it, save it, move on. But it cannot fix texture. It cannot create crunch out of thin air. And when the crisp isn't there, the whole thing falls flat. The fries didn't do much to help the situation. Underdone. Under salted. Just kind of there. Taking up space. Not offensive, just disappointing. Like they almost made it to the finish line and then decided to clock out early. And here's the part that really gets me. When you only do one thing, you have to nail it. Every time. No excuses. No off days. No close enough. This isn't a diner with a 10-page menu. This is chicken. How do you forget to make it crispy? Now, credit where it's due. The Texas toast? Still elite. Buttery, golden, doing exactly what it's supposed to do. The coleslaw? Fresh, crisp, actually refreshing. And the staff here? Friendly, efficient, and the food came out quick. No complaints on the service side at all. So now I'm sitting there having this internal debate. Because I know what Raising Cane's can be. And this wasn't it. somewhere in the middle of that meal it hit me that I went out of my way for this and got a version that felt like it cut corners That's a tough pill to swallow in an area like Kissimmee where you've got options everywhere you turn. Great food is not hard to find around here. Which makes subpar chicken stand out even more. Three stars. And that feels generous based on the sides and the service carrying the weight. But let's be clear. I'm usually a five star guy when it comes to Raising Cane's. This just wasn't that day. And when your whole brand is built on doing one thing right, you don't get a pass when that one thing misses.

Our food came out relatively fast as it is a quick service restaurant but that's when it fell short as all of the food we ordered was lukewarm like you could tell it all had been sitting for a while as to the point of where it really lacked had this been hotter I'm sure it would have been better. The spicy chicken sandwich wasn't bad had it been hot I can see the flavors coming out more as it was a decent sized piece of chicken with some of the spicy sauce and some bread and butter pickles which I did find to be a surprise as not many places use those pickles on a chicken sandwich. My lady said her chicken pieces were also lukewarm and she said that had they been hot that they would have been significantly better as it fell the same way with the yuca fries as those too were lukewarm and just left her looking for warmer food. The empanada was probably the warmest item that we received it was ok as it had a decent flavor to it but it lacked a lot of chicken as it felt like it was mostly sauce which was definitely underwhelming at most. All of the employees we encountered were very friendly and busy working and cleaning and just seemed to be enjoying their shift which is definitely a plus as I know how it can get in a QSR environment. Even though this had nothing to do with the restaurant I do have to say that this random guy came in and was like arguing with the staff about using the restroom this is after he came over and took some paper towels from the employee's roll who was cleaning the windows kinda random but it was kinda amusing to watch them while we ate. One other thing I noticed here was that there was no trash can at all which I'm very much so not a fan of as I'm not for leaving my plates on the table for someone to clean it up at a fast food restaurant as that's something I prefer to do myself. Overall the food here definitely fell short as I'm not into getting lukewarm food a chicken sandwich should me piping hot when you first bite into it so it's for these reasons I highly doubt that I'll ever come back.

My stomach is practically rumbling typing this. Freshly fried, crispy and golden on the outside, fluffy on the inside, and served piping hot. They're genuinely hard to compare to anything else -- unique enough to stand on their own. If Chicken Guy sold only fries, I'd be a loyal regular. The chicken, though -- the whole reason for the name -- left me with questions. Hot and fresh, absolutely. But the interior had a wateriness that crossed from "juicy" into something that actually diluted the flavor. Combined with a sweet and sour sauce so thin it refused to cling to the tenders, the whole thing fell a little flat. I found myself wondering whether the chicken had been moisture-injected, because it tasted more hydrated than flavorful. In the Orlando heat that might technically be a feature -- but a good tender should be able to stand on its own before the sauce ever enters the picture. I'd return -- the fries alone make it worth it. But I'd experiment with a different sauce and temper expectations on the chicken itself.

We decided to stop by Chicken Guy for lunch while visiting Disney Springs…read more You can use your Disney Dining plan here and redeem a quick service meal for an entree and a beverage. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and there are a lot of choices to pick from on the menu. The interior is pretty large with a lot of seating areas both inside and outside. Inside is definitely preferred in the Florida heat. There are two drink stations with fountain sodas you can refill, but it's just standard Coke products and not a Coke freestyle machine. We had one order of the grilled strips and one order of the crispy strips. We also had the french fries, and we tried the bourbon BBQ sauce and the seasonal "korean spicy" sauce. The chicken strips were good. The grilled strips were a bit on the dry side, but they were a lighter choice versus the crispy ones. I appreciate that they have the grilled option for a lighter option. The fries had a light seasoning on them and were fairly standard french fries. We had heard that the sauces are the highlight here, and they were - OK. The bourbon sauce definitely had a punch of bourbon flavor, and the korean sauce definitely had that unique spicy korean flavor. They were a bit on the runny side, though, and I would've preferred a thicker sauce. Overall this was a decent meal, but it fell a bit short of expectations.

Ordered on UberEats tonight and splurged for delivery etc... Thinking $55 would be worth it for me…read moreand my daughter to try out one of our favorite celeb chefs. My daughter got the Bacon Mac N' Cheese Burger and Flavortown Fries and I got the Cajun Chicken Alfredo, also splurged for the Chocolate Whiskey Cake. My daughter's Bacon Mac N' Cheese Burger was fresh and still nice and warm. It didn't have bacon, donkey sauce or the crispy onions on it. As far as the mac & cheese - there were 5 pieces of macaroni on it. The burger was bland with no discernible seasoning on it. She ate half and threw the rest away. So much for the $15 burger... The Flavortown Fries were still very crispy - surprisingly for delivery, but no seasoning whatsoever on them. Looking at their product photos, they should have some sort of seasoning on them? Bland as well. My Cajun Chicken Alfredo was watery and tasteless. The chicken was tender, but not the flavorful cajun I was hoping for. I ate enough to fill my belly and nothing about it made want to eat more. Holding out hope, we tried the Chocolate Whiskey Cake. It was moist and chocolatey. It was only half the size of the one in the photo - maybe 3" thick. Photo shows 5 layers, this was only 2. There was no Whiskey crème anglaise, salted whiskey caramel sauce or crumbled toffee bar. So instead of chocolate whiskey cake, we got chocolate cake. Overall, the food was fresh, cooked well, and still warm upon delivery; but for a restaurant named Flavortown Kitchen, I expected SO much more. The food was very bland - No flavor, no spice, no nothing, no wow. I'm deeply disappointed, as it seems as if this restaurant has had several bad reviews and apparently hasn't fixed much of anything.
