The staff was courteous, professional, and worked liked a fine oiled and tuned machine. They verbally spoke to each other about what task they were completing, other workers instinctively handed them tools and took over other tasks. It was refreshing to see a group of people that cared about doing their job and doing it well with pride and camaraderie. I was very impressed. They had me in and out so fast too. Customer beware: I recently had my check engine light come…read moreon in my 2022 VW Tiguan. AutoZone ran a scan and told me it was related to the EVAP system. I then took my vehicle to Precision Tune Auto Care for a diagnosis, but instead of addressing the EVAP issue, they told me I needed new spark plugs. I agreed to the work, but before I even left their shop, the check engine light came back on. When I returned immediately, they scanned the car again and admitted the code was still for the EVAP system, not spark plugs. The manager "giggled" the gas cap, cleared the code, and sent me on my way. The next morning, the check engine light was back on. I then went to a different shop (Riddle), where they were honest and transparent. They confirmed that the issue was in fact the EVAP system, and even informed me that VW may cover the repair at no cost. When I went back to Precision Tune, they handed me the spark plugs they supposedly replaced, but could not provide any proof from their scanner that my car ever showed a spark plug-related code. This experience left me feeling that this business is not trustworthy. They charged me for unnecessary repairs and failed to fix the actual problem. Please beware when considering this location for your automotive needs.

Here's how it went: The Good: -- They are professional. Each interaction with the people was good. They are helpful, explain what they are doing, and answer all questions. -- The service is relatively fast. -- Waiting areas are pretty clean. -- Easy to schedule an appointment online. I got one for my brakes same day. -- Decent selection of tires. The Not So Good: -- Expensive -- Expensive -- Did I say expensive? Let me qualify this. -- Tires are about 50% more than a place like Walmart or Costco where you will get a similar product with no noticeable difference and similar warranty. -- I got my brakes (all 4 wheels) done about 2 years ago at a different shop for about $800. Mavis charged me $1100 for 2 wheels! -- you can go to auto zone and get all the parts they used for about $450 vs the $670 they charged me -- Labor is a set price for working on a set part. It is NOT per hour. $416 for labor that took a total of 1 hour and 20 minutes. To put this in perspective, that is the same as a junior airline captain. Bottom Line: We went to Mavis out of convenience and necessity. We will NOT be going back. Save your money and go someplace else.

I made a huge mistake!!! I went to this location for a complete tune up on my car before moving…read moresince I drive an older model car; I wanted to make sure it was road ready for a 16 hour drive. Oil change, new struts, new spark plugs, new alternator, new AC condenser, new belts, the works... Everything they recommended for my year car I did. Immediately following the service my car was squeaking, brought it back and they said I was ok it was just the belt working itself out. Almost a year later, the brand new alternator went out. Called. Thankfully still under warranty, but I had to bring the vehicle back. I now currently live 16 hours away.... Brought it to the nearest Express Oil, which was 4 hours from me, to have the alternator replaced under warranty. They stated that it was because a belt related to the alternator was not put on correctly which was the reasoning for the squeaking and the alternator dying within a year. Now with this hot heat, every time I turn my AC on my battery light on my vehicle comes on and everything stops working. Called again and they said I would have to bring it back to the nearest express oil to have it looked at again. I cannot afford to drive another 4 hours... So I have been driving without AC this entire hot summer due to the issues. My vehicle is an older model, but I never had ANY issues until I went to this shop to have a complete workup done. The employees I have spoken with have been very pleasant, but all of these mechanical issues coming following that visit have just been miserable. Don't have work outside of an oil change completed at this location.
