The people were friendly but did not have my oil in stock and wanted to charge me $79 for the oil they had in stock (instead of $49 for 5w30 conventional oil). If they didn't have the oil I requested in stock they should have given me the next oil better for no additional charge. What oil change shop doesn't have 5w30 conventional oil in stock (what I have been getting for the past 12 years). read more

Jiffylube changed my oil last visit. I brought the truck home and parked it. I needed to leave came out to start my truck noticed oil all over my driveway. Needed to call a tow truck to have my truck repaired. They found that they did not tighten the plug and it worked it's way loose. This was about 4500 miles ago. Today I thought I would give Jiffy lube a try again but a different location. I pulled up in line the gentleman came up we talked. I had one request and that was to please check to make sure the plug was tightened when they were done that's all. He tells his manager what I had asked and the manager came to my truck and made a big deal of this. All they had to say was.... No problem we will make sure the plug was tight. I guess Jiffylube will no longer be changing my oil at least at Tanque Verde kolb. read more

So on July 24th I went back to get an oil change and tire rotation.I noticed 3 new people out of 4.Now in the past they worked and communicated like a team.Everything was done quick and efficiently. Not on that day.You could tell they were not in sink.So I just got the oil change and skipped the tire rotation.So they lost part of that business.Now its bad enough they charge an arm and a leg for an oil change.It was a confusing experience too.I will not be going back to that location again.No thanks!! read more

I have been coming here for years. Showed up today, brand new crew. Today, after my oil change, my battery somehow wouldn't start, it's a 6 mo old battery. He instantly recommended I buy a new battery from them. "You know it's summer and these things go bad" I called him out on it and said "but you yelled out 'good battery' when you were doing the check." To which he responded, "Sorry for the confusion, that was for something else." They also hooked up my battery to a machine and showed me some test results, "It's showing this number, it should be here" and so I said " charge it and I'll take it to AutoZone because that's where I get my batteries." Fred at Autozone ran three different tests on my battery, all tests came back good/green/pass. Unacceptable Jiffy Lube. You either need to replace your little machine or find a new crew. read more

The service at this Jiffy lube in Tanque Verde was shockingly poor. The invoice lists my tires were checked and found to have 2 pounds of pressure in the rear tire... Only one tire is listed. My 2005 Lexus is listed as having 1706 miles on it and it's closed to 155,400 miles. No one bother to reset the maintenance light and there is nothing about any fluid levels anywhere being checked. There was a customer in the waiting room I was talking to, he said the last time he was there that he was called moments after leaving and told to return immediately because his car was leaking oil and the cause was the drain plug wasn't tightened. I will go this morning and find a competent organization double check everything. Avoid this location if you place a high value on your car. Personally, I will NEVER return for their "Signature Service" because the signature is one of failure. read more

I had an overall good experience. Vic was the employee who helped me. The service was quick, convenient, and affordable. It really is typical of Jiffy Lube garages in general. Vic was helpful in identifying things with my car that needed maintenance or that would soon be needing maintenance. His approach was not pushy though. Called ahead to see if they were busy, and the guy assured us they had a slow moment and to come right down. Sure enough as I got there someone was pulling out of the garage right as I rolled up. As soon as I stepped out of the SUV a slew of friendly gents started getting right to work on my vehicle. One of the guys I'd talked to on the phone prior to going in asked me a few questions about what oil to use, the filter, etc. Suggested a few things but nothing high pressure sales-wise. Much appreciated in that sense since I had already had a crazy day and just wanted my oil done. I had a seat in the little waiting area and was only on my buns for about 5 minutes when they were done. Fastest. Oil. Change. Ever. And an efficient one, too. Please don't go here. I brought my car in for an oil change 1 week ago and the check engine light had recently come on. They didn't do a simple scan of the codes. (I'm told they could have, it was a pretty big problem) 3 days later, my car died for good, and that's after the $100 synthetic oil change. "Saying something sucks is NOT a take!" - Jim Rome In that case, I'll elaborate. This Jiffy Lube seems to be a smaller location, so I knew when I pulled up and each of the two lanes was already two cars deep that I was in trouble. However, once again, my oil light had been on for weeks so I knew that I needed to suck it up and be patient. I was informed that the wait would be 35 to 40 minutes. An hour and a half later, it was my finally my turn. On a positive note, I got to catch up on all of my celebrity gossip in Us and OK magazines. Then again, I also found out that my hair is all wrong and I'm fat. And that Gwyneth Paltrow gets vagina steams at the spa. Who knew? Everything goes uneventfully from this point, or so I think. "What'd you do? Run over a curb?" My husband chuckles when I finally show up at home. "Uhh...no..." "Well...umm...there's something dangling beneath your car." "S***" So, I go back. Only this time, I have both preschoolers in the back seat. Kill me now. I'm feeling lucky, because I'm told it will be 5-7 minutes. 35 minutes later, it's finally my turn and thankfully I haven't strangled the kids. I will give Jiffy Lube credit for this: 1) the mechanic took responsibility for the mistake, explained what he did wrong, and fixed it without charge and 2) they let me keep my little pumpkin pies in the car and drive through, vs unloading them and reloading them later. If you have little kids in car seats, you know what I'm talking about. Let's just say it was easier to restrain them in five point harnesses. The customer service itself was on point, but this is three hours of my life (including travel time) that I'd love to have back! read more

Seems like we are always in a hurry. Nobody likes to wait around for hours for something like an oil change. Jiffy Lube is the perfect place to get in and out for an oil change in, often, right around half an hour. They wash your windows, vacuum your vehicle and will often make suggestions about additional services your car may need. I am always cautious about purchasing the extra services or minor parts that they recommend. I always tell myself, "I can replace the air filter myself", only to find out the price they offered is about the same it would cost to buy it and go through the hassle of actually replacing it myself. After the last oil change they gave me $15 coupons for every vehicle we own (3). That's good customer service and will keep me coming back. read more

This was the worst experience I have had. They suggested I replace a belt on my car which I said "sure" to. As I watched through the window I saw them break something. I went out to ask how long and the manager Cole said twenty minutes it will be ready. I walked home and called back twenty minutes later. Cole then told me they broke the tensioner and it would be another hour and a half. They gave me $20 off and when I got my car back it rumbled and shook. After getting yelled at by Cole for trying to get it back in there to get it fixed, I took it to Midas 2 blocks away. $600 later my car was back to normal. I submitted a complaint to jiffy lube and after saying they would reimburse me for the repairs, they did not. Next time I am going to Midas for everything including an oil change. They are cheaper the jiffy also. read more

I haven't been to this location in a while and was a bit hesitant because of an incident with my vehicle at a phoenix location but Dillion was awesome and Tasha the manager took great care of me and my car and even pointed out something's for me to get attended to with my local repair guy. I normally go to the dealership for oil changes. This Jiffylube has changed my mind. Their oil change includes cleaning out the car and washing the windows. My dealership doesn't do that unless I ask, and they charge extra. The mechanic I spoke with explained things to me like I was a person and not a "dumb girl" and I understood what he was recommending. With my oil change and transmission flush, I was out in less than 30 minutes and less then $200 bucks. I will be returning to this location. The heat was horrible and the employees do not have any cooling for themselves. These people deserve better. They were kind and wonderful and I sure hope that someone in corporate knows how hot it gets in Tucson. They need at least a big swamp cooler. My husband and I got our oil changed here last week. Right off the bat, we were ushered into a bay. Bryon made a recommendation for the type of synthetic oil needed, and a few minutes later, for a new air filter, for our Mazda. He was very friendly and knowledgeable. He even reset our "service needed" indicator for us (complicated; newer vehicle). All of the staff at this location were very polite and friendly. The entire process only took around ten minutes. We didn't have to exit our vehicle. We will definitely return to this location for future oil changes for our vehicles! read more

Fast and Furious. I like that they are fast, but I'm not sure they give attention to detail. I had checked my oil yesterday at the gas station, it was on the low mark, and the car was about due. I have a high mileage car and thankfully no leaks. I drove hear for the first time, they got to it quickly. I asked when they were done, if the oil was low, they said "no, it was full". And told me there was an engine oil leak. I know for a fact there is none, my garage floor is spotless. The receipt says they vacuumed my car, none of that was done, but they did wash the windshield like it said they did. Sometimes if the little things aren't done right, it makes me wonder about the big things. Car seems to run fine, but I probably won't go back. Fast is good, but frantic makes mistakes. read more

I went to the Jiffy Lube at 7443 E. Broadway. Waiting in the lobby to see the mechanic. Gentleman came in and was not wearing a mask in that tiny, warm lobby. No employees present, so I asked him where his mask was. He immediately went off, "I'm not wearing a goddam mask." Instantly angry. Went on about how he can't breathe in them. I left the lobby, and he stepped out behind me. He made me a little nervous, now. We were now at the entrance to the bay. The manager came up. He apparently knew this guy, as the old guy was asking for another employee by name. Then I said "could you ask him to wear a mask?" The old guy started up again. The manager SAID NOTHING and WALKED AWAY. I had to leave to protect my safety and health. Rising covid numbers and a new, more transmissible strain just after New Year's and they're not going to protect their customers OR THEIR EMPLOYEES? This is worse than bad business. read more

I went to Walmart and got the exact same oil change, full synthetic and all, for a little under $50!! I've never had someone try and upsell me on more things in my life and when I declined everything additional the guy seemed irritated. The manager helped me and he was nice but you could definitely tell he was just saying the things he was required to and he didn't seem genuinely happy or friendly so I would say customer service just okay. They were very quick which is always great. My only other complaint is it wasn't any cheaper than anywhere else even with the coupon they offered. I doubt I will ever come back or recommend anyone I know of to go here unless they need to be in and out quick and don't mind the upselling. read more
