Quick easy service I did get an upsell about a package for a premium service due to some "clumps" In my oil which is interesting since I am extremely consistent with my oil changes. Anyway for at a synthetic oil change and this service was $189 the oil change it self was the majority of the cost. 4 stars for the service but due to the steep price I'll find another spot. read more

My daughter took the car she had owned for one day in for an oil change. They emptied the oil and gave it to her with no oil. A few blocks later of course the engine had seized leaving her stranded on a major thoroughfare. Luckily people helped and they managed to push the car into a parking lot. My daughter called us and the manager and we all met at the car. The manager wanted us to pay for a tow truck and take responsibility for the car. We refused and it sat there all night taking three spaces. Luckily we weren't towed and Greasemonkey towed the car to a repair shop for engine replacement. Our engine only had 47K miles on it. Who knows what the used engine they put in had. My daughter is 20 so she can't rent a car so she went for weeks without a car and they didn't have to pay for her rental. She lost weeks of meal delivery earnings. We finally got the car back and corporate was supposed to send us a check for the inconvenience. They sent $120. read more

I have always been one to change my own oil. About a year ago, I decided to stop in to the grease monkey store do you have my oil changed. Rich greeted me, explained all the pricing information, and got right to work. There were several overdue services, according to my manufactures warranty, which he explained to me and offered pricing. I gave approval for all of it. I believe I had a veterans ID in my cupholder, which Rich noted. When it came time to pay my bill, he applied a veterans discount, and went on to extensively thank me for my service. Rich is an avid supporter of US troops and makes his sentiment known. It was very heartfelt and greatly appreciated by me. In addition to the excellent quality of work and service, everyone I have interacted with at this location has been outstanding to me. Today the Grease Monkey came to the rescue!! I've been changing the oil in my vehicles since the mid 70's. Today I was changing the oil for the first time on my daughters 2019 Toyota Highlander. I drained the oil as normal but when it came time to try and remove the filter housing it was stuck really bad! I snapped off my filter wrench and didn't have a backup. So, I filled it with fresh oil and called Billy at the Grease Monkey to ask if he could get the filter housing off. He said bring it on down and we'll try. Not only did he make quick work of it but he installed a new filter and would not accept any money for it!! Very bad service and they do not do the work the way they say they did on the invoice. I went in to get an oil change and one of the items I actually told them I needed was the washer fluid filled cause it was empty. When they told me the work was complete I turned on my truck and the washer fluid light was still on showing empty. I asked the guy did you guys check all the fluids and filled them and he said yes we did. I told him I believe they missed my washer fluid and he got an attitude and said no we checked and filled everything. Finally I said okay then please explain the light on my dash and showed him the light. He said well then open up your hood again. I did he filled it and slammed my hood. Said there it's filled. When they tell you they will get you in and out if your full service oil change within 10 to 15 minutes they are not joking! My husband and I never had to leave our vehicle. They are all masked up and doing their part to keep everyone safe. If you exit the vehicle or when they approach your open window do your part as well and please wear a mask. These guys are like a machine lol they all yell out different things to each other as they check them and work very well as a team. We paid less than $25 for a full service oil change on my car. We were given a 50 % off discount with Veterans day and I'm pretty sure they always offer a veteran, military or law enforcement discount year round so be sure to ask. This the perfect pit stop when you're heading out of town and need to do a quick maintenance. They also include a free windshield wash and vacuum. We just declined the vacuum to be considerate for safety purposes. The best time to go is early in the morning. You can also call ahead to find out wait times! My oil change at Grease Monkey was almost double what I pay at my go-to oil change shop in Nogales but it was worth every penny. I was literally in and out of the place in less than 10 minutes. As soon as they took my car into the shop every employee in there moved fast. One guy changed my oil, another was cleaning all my windows, one was adding air to my tire and then they checked all my fluids and topped off my washer fluid. The service is on point here and even though it's more than I normally pay, my time is priceless and I know if I come here, I will be in and out of there guaranteed. I was charged $111.00 for the Synthetic oil change. I NEVER thought I would be changed such a ridiculous amount for not asking before hand. They reduced it a little bit because I complained about it and all they could reduced it by was $10.00. I have NEVER paid more than sixty some dollars a Synthetic oil change. Went to Grease Monkey because they had ok ratings and did a 16 point inspection with the oil change. Showed up today and there was no one a head of us so we drove right up. Asked about the oil change special that included the 16 point inspection, window clean and interior vacuum. The gentleman told me they would do everything except the vacuum for whatever reason. We waited inside and we paid the $100+ charge (they do offer a 15% discount for military). They told me my car was done and handed me the receipt. Didn't say anything about what was found on the 16 point inspection so I figured all was good. Happily drove off and went to go wash my car and when I popped the hood I did a quick look at the windshield washer fluid... not a drop in sight. Their location is good, BUT... The last oil change I had a few months ago they upsold me to the Mobil1 Full synthetic oil change, without my knowledge or permission. I was to wait in my car while the work was being done, and found out the cost was way more than I am used to spending. I was not wanting that mistake to happen again so today I walked inside to do a price check, and I wanted the high mileage or synthetic blend oil change. They asked what kind of car : a 2014 Toyota. They said that Toyota only recommends the Mobile1, which is the premium selection. REALLY ???? . I said I wanted my choice. They said they would do my choice of oil only if I would sign a waiver. I chose the best option: To leave without getting ripped off by them changing my oil. Supposedly, they said my last oil change showed the MOBIL1, from the window decal. I never chose MOBIL1 , it's all about them trying to make a profit and ripoff a customer at the same time. It wasn't this way until this past several months. read more

Great service, everyone there has a great additude and the technician let us know about a nail in our tire. It was goos they found it, as we were planning on headed out on a trip out of state. Reserving the fifth star for next time I go to see if my experience is consistent. Clean waiting area. Efficient service. You can watch what they are doing on the video surveillance while you wait which I really liked as it takes some of the mystery out of what is taking so long. I didn't realize they'd vacuum my floorboards while they changed the oil which was a pleasant surprise and save me a trip to the car wash to do it myself later. The sign on their door advertises 15 minutes and I waited closer to 40 but it was still worth it to not have to change the oil myself in the AZ heat. They checked all the fluids (to be expected) and topped off the air in my tires since I was going on a road trip the next day. All in all, it was a pleasant experience and I will be going back. There were zero cons from this visit besides the wait time and I've waited much longer at other places so I don't even consider it a negative at this point. read more

If you are just looking for an oil change, this place is A-OK. I do have one complaint about this place after multiple visits. The biggest issue I have had is that they will recommend services and say that your car needs by only going off the mileage on the car and not verifying the car actually needs it. The example I can give is that on my last trip they said that I needed a new air filter and also a transmission flush. If they had checked these, they would have known that I just replaced the air filter myself 2 weeks prior and that the transmission had been flushed 1 month ago and the fluid was a perfect color. I called them out on these recommendations asking if they actually look at these items and they informed me that they're only allowed to make conclusions based on mileage of a vehicle. It sounds to me like they're just lazy and want to make money off services your car may not actually need. read more

Went in for oil change, they told me I was three quarts low on antifreeze (on a tiny six quart radiator) How they determined that is a mystery since they hadn't even looked at my car yet. Even if they had, it's not like there's a radiator dipstick that tells you how low you are. I guess they just used The Force to come up with that figure. I watched them put the antifreeze in, service tech took out a hose and put in a ONE SECOND squirt of antifreeze. They charged me ten bucks for that. I didn't say anything, I just paid and never went back, and that was after going there for ten years. read more

Very bad experience. Went for oil change on Buick suv. 9/9. Told me serpentine belt was shredded. Had to wait for them to go to another location for the belt so had to wait a bit. This vehicle doesn't get a lot of use. On 10/3 noticed oil leak. Returned on 10/4. They said oil filter installed incorrectly so the replaced filter and topped of oil. Today my son was driving vehicle and serpentine belt broke and fluids leaked. Called Grease Monkey. Said nothing they could do and to take it to a mechanic. Never darken their doors again.
