It was my 1st time coming in and at 1st I was a bit skeptical only because I have had bad experiences before. But from the moment I walked in I was greeted with a positive attitude. I took my truck in for an oil change and without me asking I was given a $15 coupon that was applied automatically. I was very pleased by this and also surprised they were very communicative with me on what they were doing and what they have found. I loved how they took pictures of everything and also the suggestions on what to do. I never felt pressured to "fix" or do anything right at the moment they simply made sure I was aware and wanted me to understand what was wrong with my truck. Had dropped off my car for a wheel alignment on my car. I opted with lifetime alignment which came out to be over $250. For an almost 20 year old car with 121K miles on, I figured I may need another one in the future if I replace anything with steering or suspention. However, I probably would not request any other service and here's the reason. I have been purchasing OE quality parts from PartsGeek for a very long time. Then Firestone advisor provided a free of charge recommendation and estimates of other potential services they provide. This is where it caught my attention. I just had performed ATF change, but they recommend that I did ATF change. I wondered if they checked the fluid at all by looking at the dipstick? Second, they recommended changing the coolant expansion take cap which I had already ordered it from PartsGeek which cost me less than $8; Firestone quoted my $64. Then the outer tie rod for both driver and passenger side at $104 each ($208 total); PartsGeek was less than $65 for both side. Then cabin filter for $49; PartsGeek quoted me $24. That's a huge difference; plus I'd imagine they get these parts from wholesale. And last but not least, I just had my timing belt/kit done at a shop in Tucson and they put the sticker when it was done at what mileage (about 123K miles). So my thought was did they even check under the hood? It's the first that screams at you that says, look I did the timing belt change on this date at this miles. All the quotes for the parts were much higher than what I can purchase it for at a retail price. I'd imaging Firestone would get heavy discount on top of getting them at a wholesale price to begin with. So I am curious as to the ridiculous market; and to be honest, this is highly illegal back in the days and there are laws against price gouging. read more

We had an urgent situation this morning and the manager, Cody, was very co-operative and helpful. He took care of our situation, despite the fact that the store was inundated with calls and requests for tire changes. Turns out we were part of the drywall screw debacle that occurred the evening of October 1st. A box of screws must have fallen off the back of a truck onto Tangerine and literally hundreds of cars drove through it. We had to have 2 tires replaced. Thank you Duane and Fred - you guys are the best!! When my check engine light came on, I took it to this location as it's just right down the road from us. The code check was free and they told me the problem might be something that Jeep can fix under warranty and to check with them first. I was blown away by how honest and helpful they were. Well turns out that Jeep was going to charge over $135 just for a diagnostic - and they would have to keep the car for 2-3 days and would even be able to see me for another 3 weeks!! I called Firestone back and they told me bring it in the next day. Today I took my vehicle in at 10am and it was ready to go by 4pm! Affordable, quick and friendly service - exactly what this girl needs from an auto shop!! read more

This might be the worse auto care place I've ever encountered. Had the oil changed when 3 weeks later the oil light came on. I returned and they said sorry since the Corona virus they weren't resetting the oil light since they weren't getting in anyone's car. OK , fine but do you think they might check under the hood? I did that myself at home and of course it was 2 qts low since the kid never did the job right in the first place. Unfriendly, bad service, piss poor attitude. Update - I have spoken with the store and they are doing their best to make things right. While this was not the best experience I appreciate everything they are doing to help me. Fred the store manager has been fantastic. My car does seem to run fine now. Do not come here! They break things! I took my car in because my car was making a funny noise. I was planning on driving out of town the next morning and wanted to make sure all was good before I drove a long distance. I dropped it off in the morning and got a call in the middle of the day with info about what needed to be done including fixing my wheel bearing. Around 5 pm I called them to get a status report and was told they were just about done and to head over to pick it up. While on the way I got a call that the tech had broken the wheel speed sensor when taking the wheel off to fix the wheel bearing. Long story short they couldn't find on in stock anywhere and needed to keep my car... Over 4th of July... While I was supposed to be gone on vacation with my car... After going around with the guy a few times I finally asked for a rental car) which I ended up having to reserve pick up and pay for myself). Today I picked up my car and was told that they also replaced my rear axle because they had broken that too. Not sure why I wasn't told that until today. So after nearly $900 for them to fix my car and almost $250 for a rental car, my car still was making grinding metal noises. Thank goodness my brother-in-law knows about cars and was able to see they had not put the shield (not sure that is what it is called) on right and he was able to fix it. He was shocked, and so am I, that after the tech's DIDN'T test drive the car to make sure it was working properly after they finished working on it. I also felt like the guy at the front desk when I picked up the car today (I think his name is Tony) was talking down to me and kind of being a jerk. Also, isn't prepping your customer on exactly what to say for the survey kinda cheating? Also, my car was not the only car that they had broken that day (Tuesday July 2, 2019). I have a Jeep Patriot, the tire size specified for that vehicle is rare and usually on the expensive side. However, there is an alternate size that ranges from $57.00 and up. I sent my daughter there to replace 1 tire. The person who helped her was rude and talked down to her. He told her a new tire was $125.00 plus another $70.00 to mount and balance. He did not offer any other choices. The vehicle has 220 thousand miles! Not a freeway car, just in town. Firestone did a shameful dis-service. Took advantage of a young mind. I got the tire replaced and mounted from Discount for $84.00 out the door. I have purchased full sets from previous Fletcher's, but now, Firestone, never again. read more

Went here to get 4 new tires after picking it up it was missing a lug nut on one tire. They said it was no big deal and sent me on my way. I had to go elsewhere to get another lug nut installed. Based on my review and others should raise a red flag. read more

Absolutely the nicest customer service ever I stopped in for a patch and everyone was so friendly great experience

I was at my child's school when I notice a bulge in my tire. I called the nearest Firestone to see if they could help. Not only did they have my tire in stock but installed right away. The whole process took about a half an hour from the time I left the school to the time I was out the door. They were very helpful and took the time to answer my questions as to why my tire failed. Wow! Our trailer had a flat and when we asked if we could buy a newt trailer tire, they ignored us. Finally, one rudely said, "we don't do trailers." We then asked if they could patch our spare. It had two nails. They said they could not. We had money. We were polite but that did not matter. Ends up, we called JACK FURRIER (a few miles down the street) and the guy drives over to fire stones parking lot, takes off our tire, fixes it at the shop and drives back to install it. That is service folks. Something the firestone people were never taught. Go to Jack Furrier! Way nicer! read more

Their staff seemed alright, It's not their service that's the problem: It's their ridiculous pricing. They tried to charge me $950+ for a non-premium set of tires, trying to take advantage of how badly I needed new ones. As if that wasn't bad enough, they put things on like "Engine Cleaning" for $120, which is their way of getting more out of you, on top of them selling a 12-month alignment for $90 when my Firestone in Phoenix offers lifetime alignment for $10 more, I was very disappointed in not getting to do any major work on my car done while I was here, would highly recommend trying somewhere else read more

The "low tire pressure" light on my dash board lit up and fortunately I was very near the Firestone Complete Auto Care on Tangerine Road. What a perfect find. Tom stopped what he was doing to help us. He inspected all 4 tires and found that one probably had a leak. Tony and Duane saw to it that my car was taken care of immediately and the tire was repaired at no charge. What a great experience. Great customer service. Kind, caring, professional and thorough. I thought we were past the old bait and switch scheme auto shops pull where you go in for an oil change and come out with a new engine. My first time here they come up with $700 worth of repairs I don't want or need and then refused to do the repairs I asked for. I asked if they could patch me up to get me back on the road and Joseph refused. Instead he charged me $80 for a 5.3 quart oil change and tell me how great it was of them to do a courtesy check. My family and I just moved here. We have 5 vehicles. These guys told me to go back to Mississippi because I wouldn't spend $1,000 on my first visit. That leads me to believe nobody goes back a 2nd time. I know that nobody from my family will ever go back here. I should have known something was up when I saw that 7 of their 8 bays are empty. I'd save money by going to the dealership. There diagnoses by the way... They wanted to replace the water pump, thermostats, radiator tubes, 2 cooling fans and 2 fan belts. None of that work had to be done. Joe kept telling me how it's not a problem that I didn't want the work done. He kept saying how much he didn't want my business. He is rude, curse. He questioned my man hood! As if I somehow was concerned about this bitter mans opinion of my manhood. What a weirdo. No wonder our kids want to take Uber. Guys like this ensure that there aren't going to be any cars that need an oil changes in 10 years. read more
