Last Monday I had to have my AC checked in my beloved Mustang and I took it to Jiffy Lube. I also have a husband who is not well and my time is very short leaving him alone. I had another appointment close by, Jiffy Lube said to drop off my car and they took me to my appointment and picked me up when it was done , and my car was all finished. The folks at Jiffy Lube Roy, Kelly and the whole staff were professional, incredibly nice, and best of all my car is cool. It's always a "COOL" car, LOL, but now I'm cool riding in it. Thank you so much for doing everything to help me out and make the experience easy and taking my situation into account. If I could give negative stars I would. I went to Jiffy Lube on March 7 for an oil change. When oil change was complete I noticed the check engine light was on. I immediately went back to the shop and informed them of the issue. At first they said the light was on when I brought the car in. I told them it was not and they proceeded to check the car with their computer box. Employee was unsure on the operation of the box and asked for assistance. Upon reading the meter I was informed the problem was the hands free communication button. I told him I have never used that button. Why would it show up after an oil change? Long story short, don't use this Jiffy Lube in Staunton, Va. No stars from me!!!!!!!! Now I have to take my car to the dealership and pay them to fix what they messed up. I went to Staunton jiffy lube on the morning of 8/11/23 to get my car serviced before I went to DC/MD for the weekend after paying over $500 I came back on the following Monday and as I was going to work my car started slipping. I got off early that night by the time I got home I got a warning that said "transmission hot. Engine idle" when I checked the transmission fluid and it was bone dry and my car(2015 chevy impala)was no longer drivable!!! I got it towed to the dealership where I purchased it and was told that I needed a new transmission!!!...I called the Staunton jiffy lube(store #1672) and told them what happened and they denied it had anything to do with them. I looked on the receipt and it was marked that my transmission fluid was FULL when it was checked! I asked for the corporate number and was told that there is no corporate number by the person who claims to have worked on my car he also said that the transmission wasn't part of what was serviced on my car(then how was it marked as full on the receipt if it was supposedly never checked/touched????) He had me talk to the GM who also tried to give me the run around! After Google gave me the corporate number I called and filed a claim and was told TWICE that I would here from the store owner and I have yet to hear back from anyone. $6,900 to get my car fixed because of shady business dealings is beyond bs/disrespectful! This could have been a lot worse while I was out of town! I also could have had my daughter in the car with me(thank God)...all I wanted was them to make it right, take accountability and have my car fixed! But instead they took the disrespect even further by trying to insult my intelligence. I have a former classmate whoused to workthere and told me that he's willing to speak on the way businessis done at this specific jiffy lube!...the only options left is to get a lawyer and make sure everyone knows how completely unprofessional the Staunton VA Jiffy lube is!!!...STORE #1672! I am a veteran and employed at a major factory in this area so I promise my voice and experience with this jiffy lube will be heard!!! read more

Awesome service they saved me alot of money changing a pvc vale cleaned my engine taking time to go to the car wash and clean up under my hood really good and treated me with respect I been going there for years , roy the manager is a great guy always making time to say hello and Taking time to talk to me about service for my car ...i don't trust too many people with my car but I trust them...they never let me down and always willing to go out of there way every time I go there ....best in the area for my business !! I had a company vehicle that was in much needed TLC from neglect in the field. These guys were up front and honest. I have never been a huge fan of the big chain lube tire joints but was pleasantly surprised with the service. The manager is a great guy to have a conversation with while your waiting. they were up front with prices with minimal BS. If you need a quick in and out service give them a try! read more

Fast and Friendly service, however, when I asked if they checked the air in my tires the guy said they did- but the "check air pressure light" was still on- so I think he may have lied. Also they struggle to know how to turn the Required Maintenance Light off in the dash- even though its really simple and easy. read more

This summer, while nearing the end of a 6 week 13,000 KM road trip [thats 8,000 miles for my American neighbours :) ], the change oil light came on in my Jeep. The scary part was that it was 5:30 PM Friday evening and we were miles from any town. I called multiple places within a 30 mile radius and was turned down by everyone and told I would have to wait until Saturday or Monday! Then I called the Jiffy Lube in Staunton and spoke with the manager Roy. I told him of my predicament and confessed that I would likely not be able to arrive until shortly after 6 PM, their scheduled closing time. He told me to not worry about it and they would be happy to help me. I arrived at 6:05 PM and Roy and the team did an outstanding job in quickly servicing my Jeep while sacrificing some of their Friday evening, especially the young guys who I am sure were ready to start their weekend, to help someone out. To me, the service was top notch, no BS or upsell, and everyone gladly helped an unknown traveller to address a problem. Thanks for the excellent service. read more

So far so good. Many oil change places get a bad rep from the franchise. This location seems to be higher quality. First of all, they're friendly and communicate with you. It also gets high points because -- shocker! -- they actually monitor their Yelp reviews and reply to Yelp comments. Now I've lived long enough to know that even "the best" mechanic isnt going to solve all your problems, but I certainly appreciate being escorted to my car and thanked for my business. I went for an oil change on a road trip from out of town. The service was fast and the woman working with customers was friendly. The problem was they claimed I needed a new radiator cap, an air filter (in the next 5000 miles) and brake pads on all four ($300). My response - I'll have my boyfriend look at it. When he did, front pads at 50% and rear basically match edge new ones I had bought for him to install. I guess I should expect that a single woman at a Jiffy Lube is a prime target for predatory auto mechanic practices. Buyer beware!!! My co-worker and I came in to get our cars serviced for an oil changed. They were very nice and quick. I like that they vacuum, clean your windows, and fill your tires with air if needed. They also send you coupons or you can get a $5 every oil change key chain. read more

All new crew the last time I went for an oil and filter change. New guy was trying hard to up sell and finally dragged me out into garage to show me rear brakes, saying the pads had to be changed now. I looked at the inspection sticker which was 1 month old and decided to find out who was full of crap and who wasn't. Told him I'd get back to him, and made a beeline to my trusted, local mechanic. My oil filter was cross threaded when they put it onwhich led to my oil leaking out of my vehicle not to mention the difficulty of getting the old filter off. I will never take my vehicle to them again. This was the first and only time I will ever take my vehicle to have the oil changed I will be doing it myself from now on to ensure it's done right because jiffy lube obviously can't do it right. read more

I went to get a oil change yesterday. When I pulled off the lot I noticed my oil pressure was a little low. I idled and tried to get pressure up and drove off. When I got home my pressure was still low. I checked to see if everything had been tightened and noticed the oil filter was leaking. So I decided to check the oil. You guessed it the oil was black it was like it had never been changed. Wow what a rip off. Leaking filter and old oil for $40. I will speak to the manager tomorrow when they open. Yes they do have a very quick oil change, that's all the good I can say. Rude people, trying to sell you everything under the sun from wiper blades (just got brand new top of the line wipers but they neglected to even inspect mine before offering me new ones) to transmission service. I understand up-selling is part of their job, but I was very clear I only wanted an oil change noting more. Then when I wouldn't get the synthetic oil (even if this is what the manufacturer SUGGESTS, I told them I always use conventional oil for the past 6 years worth of oil changes) the guy wanted to lecture me and tell me if something goes wrong with my car it is not their responsibility. I'm a grown woman, I don't need a lecture. so what I got was a lot of hassle and an over priced, but very quick oil change. I'll never go to this Jiffy Lube or any other ever again. read more
