I was referred by another mechanic that we found via Google Maps (who didn't have time that day to work on my car) to Staunton Motors. I am delighted that I was referred to them! Ramin (the owner) and Wess (the mechanic) were WONDERFUL! They took my car in right away, knowing that we needed to make it to North Carolina that evening. They diagnosed the problem as a radiator that had split on the side, showed me the damaged radiator, and replaced the radiator within about an hour as I waited. (I had just had a mechanic in Baltimore look for a slow cooling system leak two days before leaving on the trip, and he had not found the problem with the side of the radiator, although the leak had been there for some time according to Wess.) The labor and parts prices at Staunton Motors were both very reasonable. Ramin and Wess were wonderful to work with! I would highly recommend this shop based on my excellent experience there.

A bad situation all around, as we stood at at the guardrail for an hour. Had the car towed to McDonough's Toyota 40 miles north in Staunton. Filled out a service request, dropped it in the overnight box, and then drove a further two hours home to the DC area exhausted by the experience at the end of an 18-hour day. I didn't know what to expect from the McDonough service department, as I'm not a big fan of dealership service departments and not from Staunton. I ended up delighted, however. Stephanie was kind and helpful when she called me on Monday morning, the diagnosis and repair (new alternator and battery, unfortunately, which I'd assumed) was completed quickly, and we picked up the car on Tuesday. All the ladies we dealt with on the service desk were a pleasure to speak with, completely professional, and they returned my calls quickly after I left messages. The estimate was accurate and the cost reasonable for the work done. I hope I'm never in this position again; however, I'm glad we took to the car to McDonough. All's well that ends well.

We bought a 2008 gold Dodge Grand Caravan in 2016 from Champion Auto and the transmission was…read morediagnosed at Amaco, the paperwork turned into and read by Champion. We sold it back to them in 2017 and paid them for another vehicle a 2009 Subaru Forester. The transmission had a complete failure and required to be replaced not even rebuilt, less than 30 days later. The powertrain warranty left us still paying $1000.00 to replace it. During the time it took to diagnose I was unable to ever get a hold of Scott, who Donna insisted made all purchase and mechanical decisions, but was "at auction" or off any days and times we called or were there to speak with him as Donna could not make any decision about assisting us or the questions we had about how they would help with our second purchase from them with no way to drive it. Donna even went as far as to tell me they had been closed on a business day they agreed to call us back but having called from an unknown number that was revealed to be untrue as the gentlemen who answered gave us their hours of operation but repeated that Scott was unavailable. We currently have their loaner white 2003 Tahoe listed at $6,999 sitting in our driveway that also didn't run for us to use. We returned it mid need, my husband listed the issues he knew aside from it being very far out of oil change, low coolant light on, brake and head lights out, and a bad front passenger tire. After picking it back up after it had been to Merchants for...something We found the same issues aside from the headlight fixed and the service engine soon light was now on. Shortly after that we were unable to get it back to them and once notified it is still here because Scott is inevitably unavailable. I had a great experience with Chastity and recommend her but Donna and Scott gave us the run around for a very long 2 weeks now. We had prepared to spend more money to replace our other car with them but after having the Subaru be a loss not even 30 days into our purchase this has put our family of 5 in a very poor position. I felt swindled by them. They knew the circumstances and strain this has put on us but have a lack of duty to their customers. We have remained calm, however frustrated and do not plan to ever purchase from or recommend them again.

I had searched the Jeep website from my home near Augusta, Georgia and the online inventory system to find my perfect Rubicon. What I initially thought was very unfortunate is that there was nothing anywhere near my home that had just what I wanted. However CMA's Jeep had the perfect vehicle 434 miles away from home! I did a quick Google search for positive reviews at that dealership, and David's name came up often along with the name of Jesse Dorestil, the finance manager. So, I called David, and the rest is history as my wife and I made the long journey to claim our new vehicle. He was very pleasant both during our phone negotiations and his great personality particularly showed in person. We were gone almost 20 hours yesterday to complete the transaction. Although by far the farthest we have ever travelled to purchase a car and very exhausting, we feel it was certainly worthwhile because of the exceptional care we received from David and Jesse and the entire team!
