This was my second time visiting this location. The first time it was raining and this time it was very cold and windy. They greeted me with an umbrella when it was raining and hustled me inside this time saying, "let's get you out of the cold, ma'am." Proof that chivalry isn't dead. They do a great job of explaining what services in addition to your oil change that you should consider having done-without forcefully up-selling. They also informed me of a leak that I had and advised me how quickly I should have it looked at. I highly recommend this location for their quality work and excellent customer service. read more

Stopped in yesterday for an oil change. The staff told me that I had a MAJOR oil pan gasket leak and that they couldn't change my oil until I got it fixed. They topped off my oil and fluids and told me to come back after I got it fixed. Brought my car home and my husband looked at it. Come to find out the staff broke my oil stick and that's why they said they couldn't change my oil. They had no way of checking my oil and they tried to cover it up by telling me about my leak. Granted I did have a minor and not major oil gasket leak. They failed to tell me that they broke oil stick and that was the real reason why they couldn't change my oil. That place is very dishonest. I would never recommend them to anyone. Ladies be aware and make sure you are paying attention. I would never recommend this business to anyone, however, If you ever decide to take your car there, get out of your car and pay attention to what the technicians are doing. Don't make the same mistake I did; I just sat in the car while they were supposedly checking my oil level. This place is very dishonest and they will rip you off. I was greeted by the service tech Melvin and he provided a thorough explanation of my options. He was very patient with a pleasant disposition and answered all of my questions. Even though there were a few customers ahead of me, my wait time was not long and all of my service requirements exceeded my expectations. Service was excellent and fast! I was able to bring my own oil to drop into the vehicle. They had many people on staff which made process faster. I came here before with MazdaSpeed3 that was heavily modified. I now own a Infiniti Q50 which I hope to upgrade down the line. The technicians were very knowledgeable and helpful. read more

I just had the most amazing experience at Springfield Jiffy Lube. I ran by the mechanic near my house but it was full and decided to go there. A man opened my door for me and said they would take care of everything. They did. It seemed that no fewer than a half dozen men jumped into action. Some cleaned the interior while others worked on the car. Another man reviewed everything with me and told me what to have done in the near future. I was out of there in what seemed like five minutes but was really under 30. Who knew a person would get five-star service at this place but I definitely did. read more

I don't normally review- in fact, this my first. Today is the day of the blizzard- 2016 I went out to gas up my car and fill up my tires, but all gas stations I went to, their air pumps were down. As a last resort I stopped at the Jiffy Lube on Backlick Rd. ( I was ready to bribe, my left front tire was low and I have a 4x4) Jiffy was busy, but Joseph met me at the counter immediately- I explained my dilemma, & Joseph had me drive around to the bay where he checked all my tires, filled them up & replaced to missing caps... All free of charge. ( my left front tire was down to 11 out of 33 psi I cannot express my gratitude enough- I didn't even need to tell him that one of the reasons I needed my vehicle is my father in law is being released from the hospital today, and in case of emergency , I need to be able to get him back there. I have been going to this Jiffy Lube location for years. The last 2 times I've gone I have been very disappointed. I was told that they topped off all my fluids (coolant, wiper fluid, etc) but I saw they were empty when I got home! Both times! Also, there were 2 employees having an altercation in plain view of everyone in the waiting room. They were yelling in each other's faces and throwing off their jackets like they were getting ready to fight. A few of us started talking about how unprofessional it was. But no other employees broke up the argument. While paying for my oil change and "fluid top off" I mentioned that there seemed to be some drama going on. The employee told me that it happens every day. I will be choosing another location from now on. read more

Email I wrote to jiffy lube cooperate their response will also be posted when and if they respond. Avoid this location like the plague. Visited this location early last month. (11/6/14) Let me start from the top here. I was planning on purchasing a K&N air filter because I was aware my filter probably needed replacement, and as it turned out it did require replacement. An advanced auto parts was right next door. I thought, "Why don't I walk on over and purchase it and have them put it in there for me?" Recently purchased car by the way so I hadn't had the time to figure out how to change the filter myself. When I suggested this to the gentleman that was helping me he chirped. "Sure I'll just charge you a $5 installation fee." Aggravated by this I muttered, "Never mind," as I thought to myself you have to put the old one back in anyway... When my car was pronounced to be ready to go, it was pulled out for me. I first noticed that my driver side window was left down the entire time of my first oil change. Yes, my first oil change in this vehicle. Also my first time at one of your establishments. As I rolled up the window I could tell that it was not clean(ed). Later that day I also noticed that the carpet directly behind the driver seat was not properly vacuumed. I'm guessing they knew when I sat in the driver seat, I wouldn't look at the carpet floor directly behind me. They were correct. That isn't the purpose for this email here's the kicker. Around the 22nd of November I was looking at the sticker for the next service mileage... I realized that the windshield sticker stated 83,785m and my car was currectly at 75,637. That's over 8,000 miles away!!! Infuriated remembering the quility of service I recieved and now this? I spoke with Simon. I'm guessing the manager of your establishment, who told me to come by sometime tomorrow to fix the issue. Simon came over and apologized for the issue, took my reciept to fix the issue on the computer. While one of his assoiates came over and said it was just 600 miles off, then scurried back in the bay. Simon then came back and said the issue was fixed and monotonously said, "Have a good day." Infuriated once again. Just because I'm from Texas is NOT an oppurtunity for employees to slack off on customer service or quility of service. Little did they know I had just come back from a trip to Tennessee and put over a thousand miles on my car. Unlike the employees in this jiffy lube establishment I'm am not a fan of guesstimating. Instead of having jiffy lube replace my oil just for the peace of mind of knowing my oil chance maintense schedule is correct, I googled a valvoline. I told them what happened and they weren't surpried. I've been a long time valvoline customer. I thought I could save some time by having my oil changed at jiffy lube right by my office on calamo and backlick but instead it only costed me more time, money, frustration, and gave me another headache only two weeks later. The gentlemen working were super nice and I liked that they did not try to force me to buy anything extra unlike the usual car places (*cough* the people across the street *cough*). Great service but for some reason they always try to sale you more service than needed... Last time I went though I was pretty much being forced to do one of their service (which I didn't) the so called "manager kept saying I have to do the service or else my car will break down and as we'll he didn't seem reliable cause he kept saying if money is an issue ill drop it down made me feel very uncomfortable and awkward at the same time!!! read more

Usually I don't have trouble saying "no" to people, especially when some sales person tries to offer me some extra service. Nevertheless, I have had pretty good luck with Jiffy Lubes in the past. This Jiffy Lube seems basic, but here's what I liked the most: the location itself is not that hard to get into and out of, and the attendants were quick, friendly, and responsive,. The person at the front gave me updates and easy-going and informative. They took a little longer than they had originally estimated, but it was a busy Saturday, and that was a given. I've been in other locations with fancier waiting areas, but there was a TV and coffee and plenty of seats, so I was content. I am sure that I will go there again after my next 5000 miles, basically because I'm a creature of habit. read more

I've been going to this Jiffy Lube for years but lately it's been going downhill. I took my car here for an oil change and tire rotation and they somehow messed with the brakes. Every time I touched my brakes, no matter how lightly, my car would make the loudest and nastiest sound that would turn heads. It never made this sound prior to my oh-so-wonderful Jiffy Lube adventure. When I took the car back they drove my car about 2 feet, took me outside, told me to find someone else, and that was that. No apologies or suggestions to how it happened, just an annoying, "Find someone else." Ends up I had to get my brake pads and rotors replaced at a hefty price. I'm not entirely sure how in the world this happened but I wouldn't trust them to clean my windshield at this point. read more

Have been using them for the last few years due to the convenience. This last time I went in, I noticed a note on the receipt stating the drain plug was stripped and the oil pan was damaged prior to them doing the service. No one mentioned this while going over the normal list of things they go over at checkout. After questioning them, they said it was already damaged when it came in (even thought they were the ones that did the last oil change too and no one mentioned anything). They claimed to have fixed it, but were required to put the note on the receipt. The next morning there was a puddle of oil under my car. Ended up having to go to a real mechanic to replace the oil pan. read more

I was especially pleased at the service I have received at Jiffy Lube of Backlick Road. The staff was courteous and professional. At no point was I ever pressured to purchase an add-on service. This is unlike the service I received fro Safford Jeep, where I purchased my vehicle. read more

I should of known from the notorious reputation Jiffy Lube has what to expect. They did remember to fill the engine back up with oil. I will give them that. But i was not very pleased with the grease prints left on my car or the fact they tried to charge me $6 extra for topping off my coolant. I checked my radiator and it was full. my overflow jug was at the minimum mark. So it would cost me $6 for them to top off the coolant to the Maximum mark. And i seriously doubt Jiffy lube uses Honda Coolant. I did not like the up-sell or lack of processionals that work there. Sorry i would not recommend this place. read more
