Pretty much denied service 40 min before closing time. Was getting checked in for oil change but after they had to yell for the tech to get out of his car in the parking lot he explained their system was down for the first time in the 16 years he's worked there. Continued to explain that it would take 30 minutes to reboot system which would get them over to the closing time. Went down the road to the other location and was informed that not their system is not down and they knew what excuse I was given. read more

I've usually had a good experience with them but this time was unexpected and also inexcusable on July 6th. Went in to get my oil changed and my headlights fixed. They refused to work on my headlights and only did my oil change. I had 1 headlight out and wanted to get them replaced since I do Uber and Lyft at night. But because 1 head light was out and the high beam wasn't, they refused to change my headlights. I guess they're okay with letting people get Fix It tickets since they said to me "Good luck with driving". They also tried to push a radiator repair on me when it wasn't needed. Took my car in because I thought it needed brakes. Bryson helped me, and after getting started on my car, he came to let me know it actually didn't need brakes and the brake pads just needed to be cleaned up a bit, which he did complimentary. It's rare to find someone so honest about vehicle repairs and he/Jiffy Lube could've easily replaced the brakes to make a buck, but Bryson went above and beyond to genuinely and honestly help. 10/10 would recommend. read more

I still find it incredible that this Jiffy Lube has been right here for over 20 years. With all the changes happening in 4 corners, this has been one of the few constants in the neighborhood. The good news is the service is fantastic, but there are certainly better deals to be had in town. The staff here are a good bunch of folks. Friendly, warm, and efficient. Most customers can be in and out of here in no time. They're usually quick to get to the root of the issue and fix it immediately. Thank goodness for good customer service. But of course, they are a chain. This means they'll be adhering to a certain price structure that is considerably pricier than some of the mom and pop shops around the area. Even Les Schwab charges less for oil changes, but I digress. It's not their fault, but knowing this ahead of time will temper expectations. Lastly, the place is clean and the organized. I haven't ever seen them swamped, but the mornings are always a good time to bring the car in. Also look for deals online, you might be able to score a coupon for a service change and even some extra bells and whistles like a free car wash. read more

I don't know much about this location, the other 2 employees seemed friendly enough. All I know is I was in desperate need of Alternator replacement. I ran into a man at AutoZone, and he referred me to " Ricky " which he appeared to be average height, ( Phillipino or Asian ) - manager at this Jiffy Lube. I was told he is a great guy, who helps people out, and does his own side work at reasonable price. I was desperate, not knowing other mechanics, and having been ripped off before, and low on money, he seemed nice enough, and offered to replace my Alternator for $240. The day we planned on him coming to my residence, I checked in an hour prior, because i hadnt heard from him. And no response, I contacted him a few times, in a span of 2 - 3 hours, and finally came to the realization that he flaked. Iam extremely disappointed in his lack of mature communication, that he would rather ignore someone, than to just let me know he changed his mind, rather than me having to stress about finding my next affordable/trustworthy option in the same day, otherwise I was going to have to ride a bike to work the next day, during winter! Luckily, I found someone trustworthy who was able to help me out for $230! I was told after a few opinions on the situation from other mechanics i got a repair quote from, that he mightve changed his mind due to him not making a huge profit. Cool, fine, I get that, ( I don't know much about how that works ) - but at least have the decency to COMMUNICATE like a grown adult, and not leave people hanging when they are already in a tough situation...Those 2 stars are purely for the friendliness of the other staff. I hope no one else gets flaked on by Ricky, and hope he learns mature communication skills. read more

Went down the check list..nothing was itemized Did not see them check the tire pressure but the tire pressure light never went off in the dash panel. And it's strange that all 4 tires were the same pressure They did not inspect the wiper blades I dont know if they inspected the serpentine belt or not but there was no mention of it They did not clean the windows but the checklist said they did. They did a hard sell for the radiator flush ($150) which is nothing more than a gravity drain and refill. If you like being pressured for things you can do at home for 1/10 the price, go here. I have gone to this location for over a decade. Service has always been reasonable and friendly. Not today. (OK, now I feel bad that I didn't write a positive review years ago...) The posted hours are until 6pm. I pulled in about 15 minutes before that. The attendant came up with a smile and said they they try to get out right at closing time. "So, no service today?" "We can top off your oil. But we try to get out by closing time." "I need my oil changed, not topped off. You want me to leave and come back another day?" "Yeah, if that's possible..." he said very assertively. "Sure, it's possible. All I have to do is put it in reverse and leave." And so I did... If your posted hours are until 6pm, pay your employees to stay until 6:15. And if you're an employee and you have a hot dinner date, work it out with the manager to leave at 6pm, not with the customer. OK, I get it, if someone pulls in at 5:59 and wants full service and their brakes looked at too, you can appeal to them. But it seems like I got there without the need to make me drive 8 miles home and back the next day. If you need your employees to be out by 6pm, then post your advertisements with "Last cars received at 5:30"(or whatever you choose). But it's just not good customer service to turn customers away during business hours when they drive across town to get there. read more

My 17 year old daughter broke down in front of the Juffy Lube on Lancaster Dr. Traffic was crazy and everyone was honking at her. It was pouring rain. The guys from Jiffy Lube went out and helped her get her car out of the road. Went and got her gas across the street. Checked everything they could on her car and stayed with her the entire time. I have no words that can adequately express a mothers gratitude for keeping her baby girl safe and helping her in a really difficult time! These are some amazing humans that work at this store. Came in for an oil change for my Honda CRV. I also needed to have my transmission fluids replaced and tires rotated. I thought I was going to have to drive to the nearest Les Schwab, however I was informed that they could take care of that for me as well. They went over the full inspection with me and noticed I needed two rock chip repairs done to my wind shield. They also took care of that for me through my insurance. I was in and out in an hour and I did not feel pressured into buying anything extra or that I was just be sold on things I didn't really need. I really appreciate that and will continue to come back because of that. I have honestly stayed away from quick oil service because of that reason. The guys here were friendly and gave great service. The only negative is that there is no water in the waiting area for customers to drink while they wait. read more

I've gone here a number of times with different cars. The people here are super nice. They're fast and they don't press TOO hard to up-sell you on stuff. If I just the basic oil change or the signature - or whatever it's called - for $5 bucks more, it costs me about as much as it would if I did it myself, and more quickly. And not getting dirty is nice. Sounds good so far, right? Well, that part is good, and if that's what you want, then go for it. It's not all good though. Here's the reason I gave them two stars: I recently decided to change my truck's (97 F-150, in case you're wondering) oil myself. I'd taken it there previously, but wanted to do it myself this time because I was already doing some other stuff on it. When I took their oil filter off, I realized it was HALF the size of the standard filter! Whaaa? The thread snatched, sure, but it was obviously not intended for the truck. Then, a few days later, I was working on my wife's car (also previously taken in to JL), for a rough isle issue, I found a hose to the throttle body had been pulled out. I had to clean the throttle body and attach the house before it ran right again. I'm willing to consider that the hose pull was accidental, but what gives? So I'm sorry. I guess I'll have to keep changing the oil myself. read more

I'm a long time customer and usually go to the W. Salem location... never again though. I have ALWAYS driven my vehicle into the bay and stayed in it, however today I was informed by Randy that I could not do so and told it's against their insurance policy, lol. Yes, I AM a woman and yes I CAN handle my full size truck... not that hard to drive it into the bay... funny that you questioned my ability though by refusing to allow me. Just so ya know, I went to the South location and they laughed at your ignorant lie "against our insurance policy". Might wanna study up on your companies policies. Lol. read more
