Everything went well except for the part about the drive shaft bolt retorquing. There's a bolt on the drive shaft of AWD Carmy's that Toyota requires retorquing every 10,000 or 15,000 miles / 12-18 months (depending on driving conditions). Toyota service centers do the retorquing every service they do. But when I talked to the service rep at this location, he didn't know anything about it. My point is that you'll probably be happy here if you just want basic car service. But if you want to make sure you get manufacturer-specific things done for your car, take it to the dealership.

Appointment had been made due to brakes making a sound when the brake was pressed. Les Schwab tells me both front and rear brakes need to be replaced, totaling $1400. According to the invoice provided to me, all 4 brake pads, rotors and calipers were replaced with new parts. & labor took about 5 hours. Drove home within city limits, no problems. 8/14-- My car starts shaking if I accelerated over 40 MPH. Had never done that before. Return the car to Les Schwab. They end up telling me ALL 4 tires were out of balance. Air Pressures were off as well. No idea how they let me drive off their lot without checking them, given they are a TIRE SHOP. Insane. They tell me all brakes look good anyway. 8/15-- On i-5 on the way to Portland, car starts shaking again and more violently as I accelerate. Only this time, it's shaking as I'm barely tapping the brakes as well. End up taking my car to the Tigard Les Schwab where they tell me that BOTH of my front rotors are not spinning. They tell me the calipers must have shot up. Can't really tell me why/how that happens if they installed new parts according to this Woodburn location on 8/13. All parts re-ordered and installed again. Completely unacceptable how this entire service was handled. If I paid $1400, I expect a good and thorough job done. Not some half-assed service. If I find out there was extensive damage to my car, I will be taking further action against this store. Save yourself the trouble & money!!! Safety is clearly not a priority at this place.

They did not tell me that the inspection comes with any service, nor did they give me the ability to opt out beforehand on the information sheet I filled out. They tried to charge me 300$ for the oil change because my oil cap was stuck on from my last oil change. They told me my headlights were fine, I have had to get out of my car and push them back in to get them working leaving my job at midnight twice since I've left that shop, which is the issue I wanted fixed. They also quoted me 10k for the other damage to my car, which I was already aware of because I PAID for an inspection with another shop. Now, two weeks later, I'm getting new lights on my dash and my car is running horribly, which never happened after my Walmart oil changes (though they got my cap stuck). Everything about this place is sketchy, they WILL damage your car to get you back in the shop, do not trust this business. I will be taking my car somewhere that has some business standards.
