This is what we get "under new management "?? I know it's difficult to get to the in cabin air filter of our 2016 suburban, they showed me and it was dirty but I knew I could do it myself so I declined to have them replace it for me. Today I found this when I went to replace the air filter. I also found a bolt falling out of the engine air filter because they didn't put it back in, which I had called and let the manager know and I received a quick sorry bout that. Just beware, I think most people don't look at this stuff so they get away with a lot. I had problems with the air filter they DID replace on our previous vehicle too. read more

They told me I had an engine leak when I didn't. I went to a mechanic regarding that they said jiffy lube in red bluff lies all the time but they will check it. Sure enough they lied. Cost me $80 to check it... The mechanic told me they had a lady come in saying she had zero transmission fluid according to jiffy lube red bluff. She was scared to death but when they took a look at it it was full. Jiffy lube also said they could check my transmission fluid because I had a closed transmission fluid. I went to Premier oil and they checked it instantly. Go to premier oil they are great. Jiffy lube in red bluff is an evil place. Stay away. read more

If anything changes with my opinion I will come back here to edit, but I went there for the 1st time yesterday, and I virtually am never impressed with any business, especially out this way, where customer service is completely null & void! I went here because the other auto shop I have gotten the majority of my oil changes from in the last 4 years did something bizarre that no one there knows what they did making my oil change only last 7 weeks till I needed another. I've never gone elss than 5 months between oil changes no matter how much I drove,, and when my regular auto shop couldn't explain what they did to make it so just in 7 weeks, and with no difference in my driving habits, I decided to forego giving them my money and I called Jiffy Lube because their hours actually work for humans that have normal jobs. As soon as I called them I spoke to Casey, who's the Manager. He said that they can look at the oil just to see if they can tell if it looks like an even needs to be replaced and go from there. So I showed up about an hour or so before they were closing and they confirmed that yes, for whatever the reason in 7 weeks my car does need an oil change, but that they would give me the appropriate oil, unlike the other place, that would last me many months, like it should have to begin with. They also replaced my wiper blades which seriously sucked and the new ones were not expensive at all, and so far are working better than the other ones ever did. They showed me 2 filters that the other auto shop never even mentioned to me and these filters clearly shouldn't have been replaced 6 to 12 months ago! So I will never go back to the other Auto shop, unless out of pure desperation, and keep giving my business to Jiffy Lube. Everyone I dealt with was awesome! I got a nice discount from the district manager just because. While I and the different client were waiting, our cars were being vacuumed and our windows were being washed! I've never had that happen in my entire life of bringing cars to auto shops lol and I work for driving school with a fleet of vehicles, and no auto shop has ever done that to those vehicles so this is very aatypical and very much appreciated! The lady I was talking to while waiting who is also a client, she was shocked that they were vacuuming cleaning her windows as well as she too has never had that at any mechanic, and was impressed when one . And unlike before other auto shops I've been to just in tahima county alone, I didn't have to wait 20 to 30 minutes for them to even bring my vehicle in. I got there at a good time I guess, as there was no other customers when I arrived, but every other auto shop I've ever arrived to at any time A-day, appointment or not, even just for a quick oil change, my car is usually not taken until 20 to 30 minutes later, which makes it so I'm there an hour, unnecessarily. read more

I was just there yesterday. When I pulled in, without an appointment, there were two vehicles in the bays already, but the technician came right out and said to just pull up behind the one on the right bay. A short time later another car came in and they put it behind the other vehicle in that bay. But the bay that I wasn't behind was finished and they drove the vehicle out. Instead of letting the other car go ahead of me, they asked the other driver to back up so that my truck could be driven in. The service was fast, friendly, economical and competent. I brought my own oil, oil filter and an engine oil additive, and they were fine with that. They checked everything and put air into my tires with the correct amount of pressure. This isn't the first time that I have had my oil changed here and it won't be the last. Great service all around! Highly recommended! read more

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!! I came here to get an oil change in my car. My car was fine and perfect until the oil change. The tech said there was an oil leak but unsure of where it was coming from..this was the first I have heard...So a few months go by and the leak gets worse. Its practically dripping pools of oil on the pavement. I saved up money and went to have it checked by a trusted mechanic in Simi valley. I was told that who ever changed the oil last did not properly install the filter and striped it and that is why oil was leaking.... It was a quick easy fix but I had to endure months of anxiety, stress over it, loss of money and all because these guys cant do a proper oil change. I called the manager to let them know and he was rude to me. He said that I had an oil leak prior and that you can't strip it. I told him He could talk to my mechanic right now and he refused. No cares were given, and he constantly was trying to blame my car. THIS IS YOUR WARNING. AVOID at all costs. THEY WILL PRETEND TO BE NICE TO GET YOUR MONEY AND SCREW UP YOUR CAR AND THEN BLAME IT ON YOU WHEN YOU HAVE PROOF OF THEIR MISTAKES. read more

I have had my oil changed here religiously for the past 10 years. It was always a great experience until it wasn't. The past few times that I've pulled in there, they've been packed with vehicles, and one or maybe two technicians. You would think that a lot of customer traffic equals successful business right? Wrong. In this case, it usually indicates short staffing. Just this last Saturday I pulled in there, and a very overwhelmed lube tech, didn't notice I was there for about 5 minutes. He then proceeded to inform me of the 1 and a half hour wait time, as he was the only one there! This is insane for a Saturday in May. I told him I would just go somewhere else. He then told me that they were the only oil change place open that day. This was a lie, since I went across town to Auto lube, and was in and out in half an hour. It was also much cheaper, and they didn't try to upsell crap that I didn't need. I have now found a new oil change business. read more

Just left there after being completely and totally ignored. I arrived and parked in front of the open bay and observed a woman standing outside. I stepped out, and she said, "There's no one here." I peeks through the front window and sure enough, there were no Jiffy Lube employees behind the counter or in either of the two service bays. We stood there for about 4 minutes when a guy with a beard approached (not sure if he worked there, due to his attire) and asked if we had been greeted. I said, "Nope!" He still didn't greet us but began helping the woman, scanning her VIN, and taking her inside. I stood outside a few minutes, not sure if I should wait there by my truck 9r follow them inside l. After presuming they couldn't possibly scan two VINs at once, I went inside.The Bearded Wonder couldn't even make eye contact with me or be troubled to say something quasi-polite such as, "Be with you in just a moment." He darted outside to pull the woman's truck into the bay as the oil change technician joked with him. I sat in the waiting room, my truck in front of an empty service bay, and waited. Then I waited some more. I realized WalMart was nearby that sold oil and filters. Since Jiff Lube is obviously making money hand over fist and had no interest in my business, I walked out to my truck and left. I highly recommend nobody waste their time trying to go here, unless you happen to be an attractive lady, because they don't want your business. read more

Worst experience ever. Don't get anything done at this location. They do poor work and treat their customers like they're a waste of time. My niece stopped in for an oil change and tire rotation on Friday, June 1, 2018. She was driving a long way and had a baby with her. They stripped two bolts and broke a third one and refused to fix it. They didn't care, said it wasn't there fault and sent her away. Luckily she found a dealership nearby to repair the damage they did. Chivalry is definitely dead here. Shame on them. Don't go here - there are other, much better options around. read more

My first time at the Red Bluff location and it was great. I was in and out in 20 minutes. Staff was super nice, respectful, etc. even though it was almost the end of their work day. There was coffee and cold water available in the waiting room, and the AC was on. My only worry is that it's a very small location, so I could see how they could get very crowded and busy very fast. I'd suggest going at non-peak times to avoid any crowding/long waits. read more

I like them alot. It's only 5$ more than doing my own oil. And I've only had good experiences with the quality of their work. But I think most importantly, it seems like they care about doing their job to the best of their abilities. Plus they're friendly, which isn't a requirement but it's definitely a benefit. I would like to take the the to thank Armando, Bobby and Reynaldo aka RJ. These guys are awesome they are very polite, very courteous, and when speaking to you they are looking at you and not through you and I like that. I think that's what keeps me coming back to this establishment. They're waiting area is always clean, they have hot coffee and have an array of magazines to keep me occupied why they work on my vehicle. But what really stands out is when they are done with my car they always thank me and mean it and also are asking for me to come back when my next Oil Change is due, I love it here they always have a smile when I come in and a smile when I leave this is a very great group of workers. read more

I was driving to Seattle and thought I would get an oil change during lunch. They said they would phone when the car was finished. They did call to ask what kind of oil I wanted. So they had my number and it worked. Nothing. I had another iced tea and waited. No call. I finally gave up and went back only to discover that my car had been done for "a while", and that no one had called because (accounts varied) of internal communication issues and/ or being really busy. Hey, we all have things to do. In my case now I not only have to drive to Seattle "a while" later than necessary, I also had to spend 15 minutes writing a Yelp review. All because they couldn't say, "no, we won't call you" or actually do it when they said. Probably an awesome oil change, but the name is Jiffy Lube, not Guess When Lube. read more
