I went here for maintenance on my 2015 Prius. Joe said just sit a while and I'll be done quickly. He was right. I went back a couple hours later because I couldn't figure out how to get my passenger window to roll up and switch Display back to miles because he was on kilometers. Joe fixed it really quick and didn't make me feel like I didn't know anything. If you want to go to an auto place for maintenance I recommend this place because they treat the customers like family read more

Some businesses fix cars. This shop helped people. When my son and I found ourselves stranded in an unfamiliar town, they didn't just deal with my vehicle--they treated us with kindness, empathy, honesty, and respect during a very stressful situation. The level of care and communication was extraordinary, and I'll never forget how they went above and beyond to help us when we needed it most. Their actions reminded me that there are still genuinely good people in the world. read more

Our Van broke down on the way home to San Jose and we ended up in Red Bluff. We found the Auto Clinic and Joe, the manager, was the best! He offered to stay late to fix the car, recommended a great place to eat and even drove us to where we needed to go. Besides being very kind, he was extremely knowledgeable and did a great job fixing out car in a timely manner. HIGHLY recommend this business. read more

You guys, Joe goes the extra mile. I brought him a truck on its absolute last legs with a blown radiator that wouldn't even hold water and Joe just absolutely went the extra mile for us. He tried everything to save my beloved truck. He worked so many extra hours without charging us and did so many extra things. Honest mechanics are hard to come by and this guy is the best. Highly recommend. Will keep coming back. It's rare to find a good honest guy in today read more

Joseph or "joe" is about as Honest as they come. I wasn't going to go there Until I read some reviews. His Approach to Customer Service is unprecedented. As I waited, I listened to him on the phone Very calmly telling another Potential Customer it's a Step by Step process. As he did me. He took me Step by step, drove me home while they worked on my 255,000 mile truck then miraculous picked me up in it. I Just found an Honest, Caring Mechanic Owner, I'm going back next month for more.. Thanks Joe.. - Keith read more

Red Bluff Auto Clinic, with Joseph over seeing the work, put an engine plus several little/big surprises like a clutch/rotors/etc in my Grandson's Buick. It turns out there were no ordinary places to get parts so waited for dealer to send. I am thinking the car is now a Family member at Red Bluff Auto as they worked on it very carefully so it would be safe for Grandson and expecting Fiancee. Joseph was very professional and actually did more than required! Leslie M. read more

Joseph at Red Bluff Auto Clinic went beyond the call of duty last week. He and his staff provided excellent service in replacing my pickup's water pump and once the job was finished he came to shop last Saturday afternoon when the shop was closed to return the pickup to me. Kudos to Joseph and his staff. read more

These guys rock. I brought my car in after my A/C died in a heatwave in June. They recharged it, but it didn't kick over when they started it. They did more troubleshooting the next day, and found that a fuse had blown. They literally could have told me anything and I would have believed them -- but they replaced the fuse and charged me for the recharge and an hour of labor. I appreciate this kind of honesty. You don't find it everywhere. As an aside, an employee drove me home when I dropped the car off at 8am. I asked him about the biz -- do they treat you well, do you like working here? He had nothing but praise for this family owed and operated business. They have my business for as long as they are here! read more

Very disappointed with the lack of professionalism shown from staff. My brother had his vehicle serviced at this location and instead of trying to rectify errors that were made on their end, they verbally harassed him (using vulgar language "f- this, f-that, get the f off my property, etc.") and got in his vicinity (to the point where my brother had to put his hand up incase he was stuck). Unless this issue is handled properly, our family and friends will no longer support this business and suggest others to think twice before choosing to do business with this establishment. read more

Super helpful in a time of need ! What's up there visiting my father, I didn't realize I hadn't had my oil changed in some time (darn Covid time) . The day was horribly hot and all the lights were on my car. These folks were kind and patient and helped...I was me in and out within an hour. I strongly recommend them and if if I lived up there, they'd have a lifetime customer !! read more

If I could give this place a negative rating I would. We brought our 2004 Honda Odyssey into this shop for transmission work. Almost a month later we picked up the van. When we drove it , the same problem was occurring. My husband took it back due to the fact that it had a warranty. They took our van and drove it around . They used it for a parts delivery trip as well. My husband asked for the job to be completed he refused . He told my husband that he was too fucking fat to be talking to him like that and to get the fuck off of his property. He then proceeded to get in my husband's face and tell him to fucking leave. We just moved here and am disgusted with the lack of professionalism and overall human decency of this shop. Please do not do business with this shop at all read more

Thank you Red Bluff Auto Clinic! I was mid-destination on a road trip when my engine started leaking coolant everywhere. They were able to see me right away and diagnose the problem. I was on my way within the hour. read more

Emergency with both of the check engine light and engine power control light on! I was new in Redding, and couldn't find any shops in town to inspect my European car without waiting for weeks. The manager Joseph was awesome! First he gave me an estimate. Later he explained the problems and cost patiently and sincerely. The car had to leave there overnight. Joseph even offered me a ride home! With such a wonderful experience, I highly recommend the shop! read more

They did a great job repairing our Cherokee. We travel full-time, so we use lots of auto shops. For the things that matter most, speed, fairness, and knowledgeability-I would say this shop is top tier read more

This shop is not reliable , after not correctly fixing my cousin's vehicle and showing such disrespect and refusal to fix the problem or give a refund we will no longer be supporting this business. read more

I have family in Red Bluff so I visit the town often. I have an older car so long drives from the Bay Area up north do take their toll. Anytime I ever experience issues with my car, I take it here. I love how upfront and honest the owner and his sons are. The fact that it is family owned and run makes all the difference to me. Every time I've come in, I've been greeted with warm smiles. They go above and beyond, even working on my car on Sunday (they are normally closed this day) to help me get back home after a weekend spent with my family. read more

On September 10th we spent $1600 for Red Bluff Auto Clinic to replace our A/C system. After less than 14 days our A/C is no longer blowing cold air or functioning properly. After the shop reevaluated our system they informed us there would be additional charges as they had not gone through the entire system as previously agreed on. We were verbally assaulted by the manager when we pressed to have the vehicle fixed correctly as agreed on. I DO NOT recommend this shop to anyone. We spent the extra money assuming we would have a completely new system covered by warranty, to be treated horribly by the manager and to be out a substantial amount of money. read more

These nice folks saved our skin when my air conditioning died during a long, hot road trip from LA to Portland. We rolled in just a bit before closing on a Saturday, but they agreed to check my car, recharged the A/C and gave me an honest assessment about what might be wrong, including adding dye so a future mechanic could check for a leak. Had us back on the road in under an hour. Appreciated their willingness to help (especially after being turned away from another spot in town) and kindness to some out-of-luck out-of-towners. read more

Very fast service and they explained what was causing the engine to misfire and offered two different parts options. My 2004 car now runs like new. Very pleased with this transaction. read more

I wouldn't take a lawnmower to this shop to change a spark plug!!! Bad ethics not like old times when us Americans grew up making things right when the job wasn't done properly!! My brother had them do a rebuild on a simple transmission and that was 4,000. The vehicle had only been out of the shop for 2 months and it's slipping and they don't want to honor the warranty or fix the issue wow.!!!!!!! read more

Excellent garage. The owner is friendly and honest. The costs are half of anything close in the Bay Area, and I'm convinced they don't exaggerate potential, "unknown" problems. I wasn't even charged for their "check engine" light reading of my car. They prepared me for the worst, but fixed my car for the cheapest cost (how would I have known if they'd up-sold me for a more costly repair?). Like I said, the owner strikes me as honest and COMPETENT! read more

Nice folks, were able to fit me in despite being busy. Was in and out quickly, Eli was knowledgeable and polite. My car works great!

A while ago I had brought my my Subaru legacy to this shop to diagnose the issues it was having the 1st time it was in there I tried to explain the symptoms it was having and the owner'slash mechanic dismissed everything I had to say and After a week of it being in the shop nothing was was done to fix the problem. The car actually ran worse when I took it home above reverb examination yesterday's examination there was missing bolts bolts loose bolts and nuts so so I called and they told me to bring it back down to the shop which I did and it sat there for over or over a month with nothing being done to it and after that long period of time I told them just to Complete whatever they were doing to it or whatever they had done so they literally just slapped it back together never fixed the problem and charged Me $1300 for absolutely for absolutely nothing being done to the car except for making more problems for myself which I had to replace a bunch of nuts and bolts that were either the wrong ones the wrong ones that were put in place of place of the correct ones missing ones And come to find out the problem was a clogged catalytic converter that they couldn't seem to figure out but they charged me $1500 altogether and a month and a 1/2 of not having a vehicle read more

We have 3 vehicles; a truck, an suv, and a minivan. I've been using Joe for years and have always gotten great service. I'm probably a pain in the butt customer. I always do drop ins, never set appointments, but Joe & crew get me taken care of every time. Last year I had an issue with my dash screen not working. Joseph, Joe's son, was upfront and honest with me. Said it wasn't something they felt comfortable fixing and suggested I take it to the dealership. I really appreciated the honesty. read more

When you take your vehicle in be careful, you have to walk through the shop to get to the office. When you get into the disgustingly filthy office and Joes phone rings you will see how disrespectful he talks to (I would assume) his customers. When he wrote the paperwork up for what I needed done it was 50$ more than explained on the phone, this was after he asked for my keys and then we walked out to my car and he said "wow you drive a nice car". I'm not sure if he thinks he can take advantage of people based on what they drive but my experience with this gentlemen was very unpleasant. I would call one of the other shops here in town to get work done. Maybe Kupers or the Garage as I went in to both and the customer service was much better and the shops much nicer. If I could no stars that's what this place deserves. read more

Can't thank this place enough. I broke down on a Sunday, hundreds of miles from home. They were the only shop open for miles and even drove me to the hotel where I stayed the night until they could finish the job. They prioritized my car given my situation and had me out much faster than I have come to expect from other car shops. The price for the work was fair. read more

I got stranded on Memorial Day weekend. Was thrilled to find that Red Bluff Auto Clinic could take my car in on Tuesday morning, with no appt. They had the staff and time to give me a new starter. I found them to be very helpful, courteous, and fair priced. I would highly recommend them! read more

Traveling north on I-5 in our motorhome between Bakersfield and Sacramento the "Service Engine Soon" light came on. Since we had just had the left oxygen sensor replaced in Yucca Valley we feared the right one had followed suit and we faced another costly repair. No repair shop in Sacramento could accommodate us that day so we called ahead to Red Bluff where Joe Sr. at Red Bluff Auto Clinic assured us that he would scan the engine computer for codes when we arrived and let us know if repairs were necessary. Joe Jr. and another mechanic did just that. The news was good; a minor fuel evaporate leak that wouldn't need fixing until we got back to Washington State. Cost? No charge! These guys are the most thoughtful, accommodating and generous folk I've run across in the auto repair world. read more

Very disrespectful and straight scammers i took my dodge Durango in for some small repairs and got an estimate on my vehicle for 300 bucks agreement when I went back to get it they did unnecessary repairs and charge me 650 without my consent and told me I couldn't get my vehicle unless I pay them at $650 they are straight scammers preying on the weak read more

Took my PT Cruiser in to have the water pump and timing belt replaced. they found other things that needed to be fixed, not a problem with that. The problems that came up when I picked up the were: First, the throttle cable was not connected properly and could not get the car above 30 MPH. Got it home took care of it myself not hard just needed to be clipped in to the housing. The 2nd problem was that the power steering was leaking BAD! I had a nuisance leek for a while, but this was so bad it was flowing to to the ground as soon as put it in. The High pressure line was backed out from the pump so far that I could see the threads. Again I fixed it my self as I knew how to since I replaced the pump and reservoir 6th months prior. Then when it was warm outside I turned on my A/C to find that it would not blow cold even after a few minutes. This system had been ICE cold, and this shop worked on the A/C system and put in dye in 2015. This was before I had the car but the service sticker is on the underside of my hood. Thankfully they are refilling my system at no charge to me. Really wish they had done everything correctly the first time. read more

The best of the best! I have taken 2 of our cars there for various issues from water pump replacement to oil changes and every single time I leave feeling confident in the repairs/maintenance. As any female who has ever taken a car in for even a simple issue will tell you, the world of auto repair is ripe with repair shops that will take advantage of our inherent ignorance of how these machines work. This leaves even the most savvy female customer on edge and just waiting for the pitch to upsell repairs for things that aren't broken or worst case, don't even exist. This is certainly NOT the case with Red Bluff Auto Clinic! The issue I had with a water pump sensor that necessitated replacement of the pump itself was explained thoroughly and in layman's terms. I have to admit since this was early in our relationship, I did call the dealership to check out the info and sure enough he was correct about the extent of recommended repair. The estimate for repairs has always been accurate - no surprises! That is greatly appreciated. I highly recommend Red Bluff Auto clinic to anyone - The shop is open 7 days a week so it is convenient for everyone! read more

So we broke down on the highway in Red Bluff and got towed here around 5:30 pm and they stayed open for us which was really nice. They were very professional and worked as fast as they could. The part they ordered was broken which wasn't their fault but they didn't charge extra or anything. Nice guys and kind of life savers! Highly recommend! read more

Similar to the other reviewers, my car broke down on my way through Red Bluff. Loud noises, engine was stalling whenever I kicked on the AC. I showed up unannounced (didn't call ahead), and even though they seemed to be pretty busy, all three of the folks working were super friendly and glad to help. They diagnosed the issue while I waited, made a quick fix for me, and sent me on my way. And even refused to take any money for it. Awesome, honest, friendly shop! read more

I would highly recommend these guys. Like the review below, I had car trouble while traveling to Los Angeles. I managed to get the car to Red Bluff Auto Clinic. The shop was convenient and well organized. Joe, (Manager?) stopped what he was doing and helped determine the damage. They ordered parts for overnight delivery. His team was working on the car by 6:30am and had my car repaired, tested and ready by 11:00 next day. Life savers really. Very honest and professional. read more
