I've been a loyal customer for many years. I'm retired & on a fixed income. I went to the shop on Foothill in Glendora where I met Leo. He took the time to get know me & my wife & our driving habits. I went to have my wife's car oil change with a $20 coupon & the new Mgr told me that I needed the more expensive synthetic oil due to the high mileage. I said that I've been here several times before & had the conventional oil change. He said "oh well, you'll be back in 1500 miles with a bad engine. When the job was done,the mechanic told me that the Mgr would not honor the coupon because it wasn't for a conventional oil change & would not scan. It was a new coupon. So I pulled up a older coupon & it scanned. I don't feel comfortable going to that shop any longer. I found out that Leo is now a Mgr at the Pomona shop so I came here & he apologized for my past experience with the Glendora shop & he would Makeup for the mistrust that I I feel for Glendora. I will now drive from Baldwin Park to Pomona because of Leo, Johnny,and Jeremy. Great service and customer service. read more

In all my years going to Jiffy Lubes this one is great. I loved the one in Ontario but this one was almost magical. I drove up and everyone popped up out of the woodwork. It was comical I was ushered in because it was hot out. One opened the door and two others smiled as they guided me in. I only came in for a top off, because my car burns oil. I've been coming to this location for years and recently visited a different jiffy lube for a simply oil change and they stripped my oil pan. Had no clue until I came here and spoke with Johnny thankfully because he wrote it in the tech notes the other store claimed responsibility. Johnny goes out of his way to explain everything to me and give me the best needed recommendations saved me a lot of money if I had to pay out of pocket for the service. If you're going to skip doing your oil change yourself and save money, you're better off going to the right Valvoline places in your area; although, even that might be questionable. With all the business they were still efficient and friendly and professional and the staff worked well together and had a good time doing it. It made my experience so stress free. Unbelieveably the worst location by far!!!This place is a joke. Prices are so high! If you want to just throw your money out the window by all means this is the place. Definitely rethink this one. I had an easy service of just an Uber Inspection for them to perform. I was quoted $69. Are you kidding me. What a joke. Manager/owner was a joke. He said prices went up last year. Well maybe they need to come down to reality because this is ludicrous. Everywhere I checked it is about $39 and they take you within minutes. So I got out of there as quickly as I could. Nice increase there Jiffy Lube for quoting me 10-15 minute inspection for $69. And there was a wait to get it done at Jiffy Lube. I then asked about the oil change price and that was around $130 for my little car. That is theft if you ask me. Everyone do yourself a favor and go with a reputable honest place for all your car needs and just keep driving the farthest away you can from this Jiffy Lube on Garey Ave in Pomona. This location was fantastic! My fiancé needed an urgent oil change and they took him in right away. The service was fast too. We only waited 10/15 minutes! Juan, Nicolas and Edwin were all very friendly, helpful and worked quickly. On top of it, we were able to use a coupon even though it just expired yesterday, they honored it since it was still on the JiffyLube website. That was really nice of them to do! I like to come to jiffy lube cause it's fast even it's over price. They messed up on my gasket once and fix it for free. This time they forgot to bolt up bottom piece when they changed the oil of my car and it was dragging. My wife took the car to this Jiffy Lube where she was sold the Signature Service Blend. We had a $15 coupon and the total was $80.08 after tac. The receipt says the battery was verified as Good Battery. 2 days later the car wouldn't start for my wife and she called AAA. The guy said the battery cable was so loose it was obviously the problem. So was this a complete oversight when the battery was checked or were the cables loosened? My wife said the salesman at Jiffy Lube was pushy, insisting on changing out lightly used air filters. Why should I pay $41.50 for bad labor? Serious Issue After Oil Change on July 22 I brought my GMC truck in for an oil change on Tuesday, July 22. Right after that, I started noticing problems with the truck stalling and having trouble shifting gears. This morning, it completely broke down on my way to work. I ended up missing work because of it. I had a mobile mechanic take a look, and he was shocked to find engine oil inside the transmission. He couldn't believe it and said it's likely something went wrong during the oil change. I'm really frustrated and concerned. If engine oil was put into the transmission by mistake, that could cause serious damage to both the engine and transmission. This seems like a clear case of negligence. I'd like to know how you plan to fix this and cover any damage that was caused. I'm also out a day of work because of this, which I think should be considered too.
