Jonathan and his dad are honest and ethical. The work is reasonably priced. So easy to work with and can handle big or little jobs.

Always appreciate Ryan taking the time to explain any repairs and using only quality parts. Always a fair value on the invoice!

With all the headaches I was having with the truck, I decided to visit the shop and speak to Ryan in person.

Brought my car in, went over some paperwork and was told I'd be contacted once the inspection was complete. Sure enough Matt called me to let me know there were some items found during inspection and which ones needed to be addressed right away. After agreeing to the updated quote they got to work. I came back to the shop prior to being told my car was ready, and I think there may have been a delay in getting parts needed (dropped the car off at 9am, wasn't done until 4pm). Other than that, the quoted price is what I paid, there wasn't any pushing to buy a service that wasn't needed. I will definitely be bringing my car back for the additional work needed.

I requested a quote through Yelp and my request was sent to multiple auto shops. I chose this…read morecompany based on location and called ahead to confirm they could do more than just read basic codes. I had already done my own diagnostics and knew the car was running rich. I had ruled out the upstream O2 sensor, catalytic converter (both new), MAP sensor, and fuel injectors. I explained all of this to Matt before bringing the car in. He assured me they could perform deeper diagnostics with their equipment. After dropping off the car, Matt called and told me they had "confirmed" exactly what I had already told them, and that the next step would be pulling spark plugs--for an additional fee. At that point, I decided to go elsewhere. What I don't understand is why I was still charged the full $85 diagnostic fee, plus a $4 hazardous materials fee and $3 shop supply fee. Plugging a car into a diagnostic scanner does not generate any hazardous waste--no fluids are drained, no chemicals are used, and no parts are replaced. There's nothing about a basic scan that would justify a hazardous materials charge. That kind of fee typically applies when disposing of things like oil, coolant, or other regulated waste, none of which occurred here. In the end, I paid $92, wasted time and gas, and learned nothing new. The most concerning part was Matt admitting he didn't even know spark plugs would need to be checked as part of further diagnosis.

Your favorite Yelp correspondent happens to be nearly stone deaf without his hearing aids, so when…read moremy beautiful bride told me that my brakes were whistling on date night last night, you can bet I was up early, primed to get my brakes checked out. I don't know about you, but I regard taking my car to a mechanic as a chore on the order of a root canal or watching my beloved Trojans blow a winnable game. So I took the necessary precautions before arriving at my neighborhood Midas- I fortified myself with a stout bowl of Wheaties and took an antacid, half bracing myself for the inevitable bad news. And HERE, my fellow Yelpers, is where the story caroms off script quicker than your favorite bank heist film! Thanks to manager ZACH THORNTON and mechanics like DEVIN, I actually received an honest appraisal and ZERO CHARGES. How's that for a great value?! The issue that was likely causing the minor squealing noises that Leti heard? From a rotor-thinning (remachining) job that was performed a month before I acquired my Highlander. In nearly forty years as a driver, this is only the second time I've ever departed an auto shop without a noticeable limp, my face contorted with a sour countenance. The friendly demeanor and honesty exhibited by Zach and his staff are so refreshing in today's dog-eat-dog, prioritize-profits-over-people culture. I was in and out in approximately 90 minutes. In closing, if you want the PEACE OF MIND of knowing that you're dealing with an honest broker who will treat you fairly- Entrust your carriage to Zach and his team of automotive professionals at Midas, Diamond Bar.

I had an oil change done on October 22, 2025, and unfortunately I later discovered a serious issue…read morerelated to that service. The drain screw/plug was not properly tightened after the oil change, which caused oil to leak from my car. I didn't notice the problem earlier because I don't know much about cars and trusted that the service had been done correctly. My family noticed oil on the garage floor where I park in February 2026, which is what first made us realize something might be wrong. On March 3, 2026, I went to another mechanic for an oil change and tire rotation. That's when the mechanic checked my car and told me that the drain screw from the previous oil change hadn't been tightened properly. He also explained that this could have caused serious damage to the engine. He also advised me to go back to the original shop and report the issue, because if the engine ends up being damaged due to this mistake, the auto shop that did the oil change could be responsible. When the oil was checked, there was only about one quart left in the engine, which was very concerning. This is a basic step during an oil change, so it's disappointing that something like this was missed. Because of this experience, I personally would not trust this shop with other services in the future. I hope they improve their quality checks and are more careful when completing routine maintenance so this doesn't happen to someone else. Also, I paid full price for the service (not with a Groupon or any discount), so I expected the work to be done properly and carefully.
