If I could give negative stars, I would. Customer service is absolutely horrendous! The employees clearly don't like their job and make you feel like you are personally ruining their day by coming there for car maintenance. I was shown a price sheet (in my car) and was very firmly told to stay in my car (first time that's ever happened). They are so lazy that they want the customer to do as much work as possible. I said I'll go somewhere else and without hesitation the "worker" turned around and went inside. Stay far away from this location. You almost need to leave Philadelphia to get reliable service at any Jiffy Lube. I will never come back. read more

The upcharge is crazy. I was told that all needed in addition to my oil change was a new filter. I declined the filter because that's a DIY project. When the manager who I ran into before at a different location came in to cash me out. Gave me a ridiculous charger of $125 for an oil change. When I presented my $15 off coupon I was then told I was short 3 quarts of antifreeze which then Nullified my coupon. Then this clown had the nerve to suggest I leave a tip. Now I know I got scammed for the 2nd ti.e by this manager but trust me it won't be a 3rd time. I'm done with "stuff-u-without the lube." read more

Went for an oil change only to have my car overheat and need to be towed back at MY expense because of THEIR incompetent workers. I've been trying for months to get it rectified but the regional manager constantly lies about sending emails and when you try to call him he ignores the calls and states he can't talk now. Bunch of Dhs that work here. Pulled in to ask to plug a tire and they said no one there could do it. I had to wait for their main guy to come in and do it. Plug a tire. If the car didn't need to be lifted I would have plugged it myself. I came here multi times and each time it seems like they are YouTube mechanics. Don't go here. They don't wanna work. My son took his jeep to this location on Cottman Avenue. His jeep was not making a noise all he wanted was a tuneup and brakes front and back. When he picked up his car he started making a loud noise so he went to go to an appointment he had with his girlfriend in the car and started making this loud noise that was so annoying that he turned the car off once the car was turned off it did not start. He took the car back to Jiffy Lube at the 1600 Cottman Ave. location where the work was done they did not doing anything to the car they clean the car was making an noise when he bought it in which was a lie. Don't ever use this Jiffy Lube it is the worst in Philly. read more

I went for a simple oil change and they broke the cap to my oil tank, then made me wait 2 hrs while they tried to find a new one. Told me to come back the next day and I drove out (25 mins each way) and they didn't have it. Then they told me my water pump was broken and I needed to take it to dealership ASAP. Paid for a rental for 4 days only for the dealership to tell me they had no idea why Jiffy Lube told me that my water pump was broken bc there was no indication of that, and I was out $350 for the rental + inspection from Toyota. Plus, it's been a month plus and I still don't have the new cap. When I called to talk to the manager, he gaslit me the entire time, told me he had no documentation about the water pump, and couldn't help me. WHATEVER YOU DO, DO NOT GO TO JIFFY LUBE. I usually don't go to this specific location for an oil change but it was close enough that I said why not. I arrived in the morning of 6/16 and my car was promptly serviced; I was in and out in about an hour. I usually only get an oil change at Jiffy, but when they were going through all the things that my car should have, the lady promptly walked over to my car and she smeared the transmission fluid stick on her finger and walked back over to me and said it should be red and it was pretty brown, so I said sure, add it on. So I got my oil changed, transmission fluid refreshed, my wiper blades replaced, and some other services i'll discuss later on. After my car was serviced, I went up to the counter to pay and it was about $230. While I was checking out, the cashier told me that the people who serviced my car wanted me know that I had a minor oil leak which was weird that they didn't mention that before servicing, only after. And I quickly asked "where is it at?" And the cashier starts throwing guesses and says "it's probably the chamber that has a leak"; this really annoyed me. I don't understand why he couldn't just go ask where exactly they saw the oil leak at or how they came to this reasoning. Anyways, I get home and I always love to double check their work. Jiffy does hire almost anyone with minimum mechanical experience, it is usually not an actual mechanic servicing your car. I open that hood up and quickly spot that they left my radiator reservoir uncapped and never filled it up even though it says it was filled and I was charged for it. Also, I went to go check the transmission fluid, it seemed pretty brown still which was weird because she specifically said it should be red and when they "refreshed" it, it was my understanding that they use a significant amount more to replace the current liquid inside and that why it's actually more expensive then getting the transmission fluid just drained and changed. You would think that was it? Nope. I'm driving down a road 3 weeks later, early in the morning, and my right windshield wiper literally becomes unhinged and becomes nonfunctional during a treacherous downpour; forcing me to pull over and figure out what went wrong. I mean come on, i've installed windshield wipers by myself before, this has never ever happened to me. It doesn't take rocket science. I'm able to put it back on (barely hanging on) and by the grace of god, it stops downpouring. When I get to work, I try to put it back together and unable to. Lastly, today, I brought my car to the mechanic and tell him about the minor oil leak Jiffy spotted while doing an oil change and he couldn't find one at all. He said there's no trace of an oil leak. Therefore, I'm going to recommend you don't go to this jiffy for services at all; it was super disappointing. You shouldn't have to guess if they actually performed services or not, or the quality of their work. Just take it to your mechanic, at least they know what they are doing! I've definitely learned my lesson the hard way. read more

I was here yesterday in the morning around 10:30 and came in for an oil change. The staff was really friendly and explained everything. They told me I need a few things in my car which was fine but took way longer than usual. As I'm waiting I found out I had a flat tire and at the end of my service the guys plugged my tire, replace my surpitine belt, and gave me an oil change. Was definitely worth the wait as they made sure everything was done correctly! Thank you guys for the great service and stay safe! read more

It just cost me $105 to get my oil changed in my 2017 Toyota Corolla. Just an oil change and nothing else. I asked why it was so much, I was told my car only takes synthetic oil. It only cost $60 to get it fine at the dealer. Highway robbery and I will never go back!! read more

Cant speak for all locations, but the one located at 1600 Cottman Ave in Philadelphia is by far the most corrupt service you'll get. My girlfriend takes her car there to get a minor oil change with her own oil and filter which was just purchased at Autozone up the street. They give her a quote of $40 for the service fee, put her car on the lift, then the shitbird of a manager comes out, gives a bullshit excuse of how due to Covid, they're not allowed to accept outside items and that they only use their own products. She's put in a position where she had no choice but to accept what was told to her. And at the end, she got hit with a $100 invoice for an oil change. Do yourself a favor and find a private mechanic. Especially if you're woman because they clearly took advantage of this situation. read more

Its sunday august 22nd in jiffy lube location on cottman ave in northeast phila and let me tell you these guys are slow as molases. I arrives around 9:30 with about 2 cars out and 2 inside and man they are not hustling at all. The sign outside says FAST OIL CHANGE not true. After 15 mins of pulling in the shop they started working in my vehicle. The longest ive waited was 30 mins tops but in this case ive been here for almost an hour and a half, unacceptable. They need to pick up the speed, will not take my vehicle ever again to this jiffy lube!!!!! read more

I went in for a top off service, the manager was mad because I did not want a full service. He then tries to belittle me telling me how I'm wasting his and my time. So I explained to him my dad works for the company but his store his far and I just want a top off right now. He tells me I should've went to my dad store or my dad should've bought me oil. So I says are you going to do your job or not. They then put 2 quarts of oil in my car, slam my hood. I called my dad to ask for the regional manager at this store. The store manager went crazy his name is William, he tells me he doesn't care about Chris, the dm, this his store. Then he starts telling me get the F off his lot. So I drove off with out guidance. So before I left I asked could I get my invoice. He goes to his car, gets sneakers and tries to fight me. While I'm sitting in my car. Ghetto Jiffy Lube! The other coworkers were cool & I've been here before with no problem. But today William has messed up my experience and I'll be in constant contact with corporate. read more

I took my car to get a signature oil change. The staff was not customer friendly. My keys were returned to me without the keychain charm I had attached to it. When I asked what happened to it the guy lied and said he didn't see it. But there was no way to avoid it as it was attached to the key. The prices went up and the oil change would've actually been significantly cheaper had I gone to an actual auto mechanic shop. I do not recommend this location. And I hope that they actually changed my oil. If they lied about removing a sentimental charm from my car key I don't see why they wouldn't lie about changing the oil. read more

Needed to get my synthetic oil change done and thought I hit Jiffy Lube again but at a different location nearby instead of the one in Bensalem Pennsylvania which did I fine job last time by the way. However, based on the reviews I was a bit weary of coming in but I thought I give it a try and I was very impressed. The people at Jiffy Lube were very kind, fast, courteous, and most importantly got the job done fairly quickly and I left very happy. Sometimes people give bad reviews but this one was a great place to get your oil change done and I really liked the overall customer service of the place. So for my next Oil Change I will definitely be coming to the Northeast Jiffy Lube location on Cottman. Really couldn't of been more happier and satisfied. read more

I took some company vehicles to this location, two in one day. I liked that they were welcoming and friendly, which included opening doors for you. The location is clean inside where you wait. The oil change is speedy and not much different than any other location I have taken a car to. They have all the usual add on's if you feel so inclined like air filters, washer blades, tire rotation, etc. I liked the service enough, I took a second vehicle there the same day. read more

Northeast Philadelphia (Cottman Ave) store- when oil change was finished, I noticed the floors of my car were not vacuumed- this is supposed to be included in the "Signature Service" I paid for. I asked the technician to vacuum. Less than 3 minutes later, I heard no vac running at all, he brought my car back, and the same dirt is still there. He stated " I can only work with the vacuum I have, Maam". I ran an essential errand, then returned, and technician who answered told me he would vacuum the car himself. This time I actually heard the Shop Vac running, and the car was vacuumed. On the THIRD attempt, that required a return visit, not convienient or jiffy!! While in the Jiffy Lube customer waiting area, the technicians are very polite, though, I did appreciate them escorting all customers in and out, and speaking in a respectful manner. I did not appreciate , however, their rest room which lacked a properly flushing toilet, a soap dispenser of any kind, and had an empty paper towel dispenser. At 11am on a Monday morning- really?? To give credit to the cashier that day, he did call their supplier, who arrived promptly ( when I returned for the service recovery ) and took care of the missing soap and paper towels. Hopefully the thing flushed well for the next lady. I am not going back, will use my own mechanic in the future. read more

You use to be able to get an oil change here for a reasonable price. Not anymore. The pricing is absolutely ridiculous and they don't do everything that they used to do before like topping up fluids. I will not be returning here. I'd rather pay the same price and go to the dealership. Last time I was there they told me they replaced my wiper blades and when I got home I realized that they were the same ones I had put on my car a couple months before. Most terrbile expereince of an oil change and other work that I every had done! Checked my oil right afterwards and the filter and oil was not changed at all, had some other work done and my local mechanic confirmed that was not done or incorrectly done. I tried reporting this to their corporate office with no luck. read more

I went to the Jiffy Lube at Cottman and Algon Ave the day before Thanksgiving for an oil change. I have been using this particular jiffy lube for over 10 years and never had a problem. I went to use the car the next day and the tire pressure light came on. Upon checking the tires I found that one of the caps was missing so I had to replace it. I took my car today 1/18/19 to the dealer for a recall. Part of the proceedure they needed to do was to drain the oil. When I picked up the car I was informed that when the oil was last changed not all the clamps that hold the oil pan were put back on. I will not be going back to Jiffy Lube for my next oil change as it seems the employees there do not know or don't care what they are doing. read more

Came here at 1:30, to get an oil change. Mechanic tries sell us an $80 package and synthetic oil. My uncle pops the good, it does not use synthetic oil. This it's $40. Another mechanic agrees. And hour later they say threw away the oil filter, and we need a new one from the store a few blocks away. So that will be done asap. Noticing people are standing around. No one is really doing anything. 3:30pm we ask what's the deal. This is 2 hours for an OIL CHANGE. They say the worker just got to the store. We're just waiting. We have now missed one appointment. And honestly, the store is so close. We could have walked there and back before they did. And we are still waiting. All I can say is I'm never coming back and please wish us luck getting out of here. read more

Terrible, they mislead people. I asked if they do tuneup and they said yes. They charged me $161. Two days later I took the car to a mechanics, he says nothing was done. I talked to the manager and ask what was really done, he says they change the spark plugs. I told him a tuneup consist of: oil change, air filter change, spark plugs change and cables change. he said, for Jiffy Lube, a tune up is a change of spark plugs. I was very mad about the misleading. They guy took advantage that I signed the bill without reading the service description. I will never take my car there. They do not do tuneups, they rob people. read more

I really needed an oil change. I hate to admit it but it has been to long. The oil was almost slug, but they did a wonderful job. Told me what needed to be done and got my car running beautifully. They were professional, friendly and very helpful during this whole process. They also cleaned the windows, mirrors and vacuum my interior. It felt like a new car. Went there to get oil change and new wiper blades two weeks ago. Paid more than usual for wiper blades, but I was there already. My windshield continued to streak until I went today and bought the wipers myself and had them installed while I watched. Pep Boys told me those blades were original to my 2014 car. Now I'm not so sure I received an oil change either. Steer clear of all these oil change places. They are always in the news for this kind of deception. read more
