Every time I get my oil changed and somewhere other than a Jiffy Lube I think I should've just gone back to JL. This was my first time here and I'm always nervous they're going to tell me I need something wildly expensive and since my knowledge of cars is nonexistent I never know what to do, but thankfully that didn't happen here. Drove right in, arrival to departure was 45 minutes and I got to sit in my car which was nice. They seem pretty organized and overall quite professional/pleasant. I got my oil changed and my tire pressure fixed which is the extent of what I wanted. The one downside was that they charged me for the wrong car at first, which is fine they refunded and fixed it. But I realized after they gave me the change oil sticker for the wrong car too so I'll have to remember how many miles I had when I went. Not a huge deal but a small bummer. read more

This place wasted a lot of my time. I drive a Fiat 500, and I needed an oil change. It said online that they close at seven and I got there by 5:55 and when I asked for an oil change, they told me they close at seven. I looked at my clock, and the attendant said "oh yeah, uh, we're closing early today." Told me to come back first thing tomorrow morning, so I did. When I arrived with my fiancé, they told us they don't service fee at 500. Why didn't they tell me that the first time? I'm almost positive the person I was speaking to was a mechanic. I'm also upset because I went online to get a price quote and they told me how much it would cost, but did not tell me that that specific location did not service Fiats. Honestly, absolute trash service. Everyone ignored me, let other customers in front of me when I was there first. They left me in the bay for way longer than necessary even after they were finished. Checkout would barely look at or speak to me. It was more expensive than other places and after all that, the place I took it for inspections said the oil was still dirty and they did not reset the meter. The mechanics were friendly but the one I dealt with made my head spin. I went there for two very basic services: state inspections and an oil change. Only the price of the state inspection is posted. The price for NO OTHER service is posted anywhere. The mechanic told me the price of a synthetic oil change was over $100. I told him that the last time I got an oil change (at Midas, mind you, where they actually post their prices), it was nearly half that. He then proceeded to rapidly type in a bunch of numbers into the computers and produced another price. The price was still outrageously high and he again rapidly typed in a bunch of numbers and produced another price. Supposedly, he was giving me a discount. These people want you to beg, plead, and participate in a hostage style negotiation just to get a basic service done lol. I definitely would not go back here for anything more complicated than an oil change. read more

The guys were nice, but 6 cars in line and 2 men working makes for very inconvenient convenience. Expect 45 mins/oil change, then include the hour+ you'll wait in line before serviced. First, the guy asked me if I wanted to continue using the high mileage oil, I stated yes. Next, he came back with the air filter which was filled with leaves and debris. I asked him how much and he said 24.00. I said ok add one. Finally, he said I notice that you have some corrosion on your battery terminals, I will clean them off for you. I'm thinking oh he is being nice. So I said thank you and I appreciate that. When I get the bill I see a $16 charge for taking a wire brush to my battery terminals. Robbery! They did not put a reminder sticker nor did they top off windshield wiper fluid. I will never visit this location again. Nor will I recommend anyone to this place (City Line Location). read more

I have been a customer of Jiffy Lube for years and I have always felt that they have a "convenient service", but I don't ever feel that the customer service is good. The staff are usually friendly and the service is quick most times for a simple oil change. There is something that often happens with how they do service at Jiffy Lube - they begin services on the vehicle- then want to call your attention to any other items they want to "sell you" - wipers, filters, etc. If you disagree - they state "we already" began services, so you really can't refuse the "oil change", but I don't buy any additional services. I don't like that way they do business where you feel taken advantage of or that your feedback about what is presented isn't validated. I will mostly likely return in the future for oil changes when I can't go to my preferred garage, but trust me - I wouldn't recommend to others. read more

No problems with this Jiffy Lube. I got my oil change and tires rotated. They had everything done in about 20 mins. I chose my oil (conventional cheap stuff!), and all services. They did try to recommend other factory maintenance that was very expensive, but that is part of company policy. When I said "no thanks" to all their recommendations, they were fine with it and didn't hassle me. The oil change was quick, seemed to do a fine job (you can watch them through the glass windows in the customer waiting area). However, during the tire rotation, they made the air pressure in my tires a little off, because now my pressure light is illuminating on my dash. But i'll just go to the gas station and fill up more air and reset the light. Happens often, just a pain. I'd go back here, no problems. CHECK IN and get $10 off! That was the best part! I've been to this location a few times for an oil change. I'm always in and out in 10-15 minutes, which is incredible! When you pull up, some very friendly faces greet you and ask how they can help, then lead you into the waiting area. I've always been offered coffee and wifi, sweet! They do come out to go over what type of oil you're looking for and try to upsell you on some other product, which I understand is how they make money, but they're not pushy when you decline. My biggest concern with going to express places like this is that I'm afraid I will be talked into something I really don't need, but this place doesn't do that. I don't live anywhere near here but I'll go out of my way to come here for quick and friendly service! read more

I called the manager on the drive home regarding the missing item and asked him to review his tapes, which he said he would do. I called back the next day and he said he had not gotten a chance to do it but would. I gave him 48 hours to search the tapes to see who took it and I never heard back. This place sucks. - Liars. - Lazy. - Not interested in your business. Today I arrived at Jiffy Lube at 3:30, and they close at 4:00. - Waited 2-3 minutes at open garage. No greeting so I walked inside. Two technicians sitting in waiting room. Manager (I presume) behind the customer service window. - One tech says, "can we help you?" and when I said I'd like an oil change, he said they are closed. - I said, "but you close at 4:00 and it's 3:30." He said," well, we close at 3:30 so we have a half hour to clean up and stuff." I suppose "and stuff" means sitting on your ass on your phone. - Manager on duty SAID NOTHING to correct the guy. After i called bullshit, I recommended they indicate that policy online and close the garage door so that customers don't waste time (it's 20 min each way for me). - Tech replied, "I don't make the policies." to which I replied, "it appears that you do!" - After a brief exchange I went back to my car. All 3 walked out 20 seconds after (I mistakenly assumed they were going to service my car). - Tech #2 approached, said "I need to say something." He said, "we don't service Fiats anyway." (Note - I do NOT drive a Fiat). I corrected him on the make and model of my car. He said "oh," turned to manager who shook his head, shrugged his shoulders, and walked out of sight. - I left. Obviously pissed off that I wasted my time. As terrible and slow as my closest PepBoys is, at least they never deny me service. So for simple things like Oil Changes and inspections I will probably take my vehicles there. TO THIS FRANCHISE OWNER OR GM: - The three people on duty Sunday afternoon, August 1, should not be paid for 3:30-4:00 when they sat on there asses refusing to serve customers. - If he worked for me, I'd demote the manager on duty. He never uttered a word and allowed the techs to disrespect a repeat customer. - I've been to this location a dozen times, and service is either great or terrible. No in between. Took my car in for an oil change and they overfilled by +3 quarts. Engine started smoking badly so went back. They drained and refilled but engine light kept coming on. Had to take car to VW dealership and have breather valve replaced because it was full of oil ($540.00). After several calls and emails including two with their "District Manager" (Maurice) they have refused to pay for the repairs made necessary by their admitted negligence. Bad business!! Also, they are more than twice the price for the same oil change at Pep Boys and Pep Boys actually has competent mechanics. Keep driving when you see Jiffy Lube!! read more

I have been trying to get my car inspected for about 5 days now. I have called every single day and every single day is a new excuse. There's only one person here that does inspections. 1. When I brought my car in they told me it would be a 3 hour wait and that I should come back in 3 hours. When I came back they said the guy that does inspections had an emergency so no more inspections today. 2. I called the next day, no inspections because the guy that does them still isn't back. 3. Another 3 hour wait 4. No one answered when I called twice so I drove to the shop. When I got there they said they were closing early soon bc the power went out. 5. I called and asked if they were doing inspections today, the person said no so I asked why since they were open. The man on the line said "because we don't do inspections on Sunday, that's why!" and hung up the phone. I completely understand that things happen and many things were out of their control but it's the unprofessionalism and the rudeness from their employee that will make me never come back. I have been so patient with them calling every day but to be spoken to so rudely and hung up on is horrible behavior. read more

Avoid! On a routine oil change, they said I was 2 quarts low and charged me for 2 extra quarts! That doesn't even make sense mathematically. (My regular mechanic checked the car and found nothing that could cause oil loss.) As an added bonus, my girlfriend who was taking the car in for me was hit on by the guy ringing her up! Wow... took my car to Jiffy Lube because my car was making an awful squeaking sound. It sounded like it was coming from the front brakes. I was told by Jiffy Lube that my car would need brake pads, rotors and calipers. They also said they would "try to save the front calipers if they could." It sounded like more money than I planned on spending, so I decided to wait and see if any of it was covered by my car's warranty. The guys here said,"Don't take it to the dealership. All they'll do is gouge you and overcharge you." Good thing I listened to my intuition. I had my car towed to my dealership and was told that there was "nothing wrong with the brakes" and that the squealing I was hearing was caused by a rock that had gotten stuck under the rotor. A ROCK. My dealership didn't charge me anything for removing the rock. Now I ask YOU, who is the real GOUGER here? read more
