I was called to bring my car by early to put new tires on. 1 hour into the appointment, I'm notified that a machine part broke and that the District Manager was going to have to personally bring over the replacement. Another hour goes by, I grab lunch and rearrange my patient appointments. A service tech begins to laugh and states that I am expected to wait at least 1-2 more hours (as he LAUGHS). His coworkers proceed to apologize for his behavior by saying he quit because he's unhappy with his job and today was his last day. The DM drops off the part, the Assistant Manager in training let's him know I am wanting to speak with him, however, he proceeds to say he had an important meeting and left. I had them call him in the car so I can let him know that I want my old tires put back on, I refuse to give them business, and that he is a direct reflection of why they hire and lose unprofessional workers at this location. I allowed the Assistant Manager in training to attempt to make things right by giving me a $ discount for today and a free oil change. Overall, not worth losing out on a half days worth of work just to get laughed at as a consumer. Shame on you DM, good job AM. read more

This was my first time coming to this Jiffy Lube. The guys that work there are extremely professional. There are coupons on yelp for different services but none of the coupons are valid if you do what I did. So I arrived early, before they open. I walk in at 8am and they instruct me to take the car around back to begin my service. I park the car just outside the garage. I leave it running and the escort me from my car to the waiting area. I wait there for about 10 minutes before they regretfully inform me that they are out of the oil I need for my European car. They call around and another Jiffy Lube has the oil and I can take my car over there after they finish vacuuming and cleaning the windows of my car. I'm already impressed at this point and want these guys to work on my car. I suggested that I can go to Auto Zone and get the oil and return and they can deduct the cost of the oil from my total. They said it would be fine. I go to Auto Zone and get the same oil I usually get at Jiffy Lube, Castrol full synthetic 5w 30, 7 quarts. It cost about $50. I head back to Jiffy Lube pull around back again, wait in the waiting room for about 10 minutes before they give me an estimate. Now if I would have let them provide the same oil I got from Auto Zone it would have cast $135 and that's after my $15 Yelp coupon. Since I bought the oil my self my cost was $43. So with the oil, my total was $93 and it only took 20 minutes for the oil change I saved $40 by getting the oil myself. Well worth the trip to Auto Zone. Also, you get a free car wash with your oil change. Great place, great people, great service, great price and a FREE car wash. I will return. read more

They gave me control of what oil I wanted to use and explained all the prices before hand. They also replaced my broken window wiper blades for next to nothing. My FIRST (and LAST) visit to this Jiffy Lube. I went the right after work. I asked for a blend, but was told they only had Synthetic oil. Disappointed but I still paid for that since that was ALL they claimed they had at the time. I arrived at 5:15 pm (they close at 6pm). Although I did NOT appreciate the counter clerk leaving my keys in the ignition, with the driver's window rolled completely down while they were assisting the customer after me, the service was quick. When I paid, I got into my car, reached for my NEW pack of cigarettes and noticed I was left with only (4) cigarettes in this new pack. It was evident, that SEVERAL (at least 7, or more) cigarettes were missing from the pack. I know I had MORE than four (4) as I smoked one (1) cigarette on my way to Jiffy Lube. Now granted, smoking is a bad habit and will be quitting soon, but I did PAY for those cigarettes and I feel a GROSS violation of trust! Good thing I didn't forget my wallet in the car! My car requires 6.4 qts of oil... makes me question whether or not did they even put the right amount of oil in my car (or any at all). Consequently, I will NEVER visit THIS Jiffy Lune (or any other) - EVER AGAIN! read more

When you arrive go straight to the back instead of parking. They have you leave the keys in the car and tell you to sit in the waiting room. They don't give you any info I didn't know anything till about an hour and a half later. There were only 2 people ahead of me, it took way too long. I've been at this location before, and again disappointed! 1. The gentleman that helped me, was kind and pleasant, however my military discount was $6 according to him. Myself and another customer was in disbelief. Then when I showed him the website military discount of 25% which is $15 he didn't want to use the promo code.STRIKE 1.......2. I was in there on 6/9/19. On 6/20/19. My coolant warning pops up, add coolant? I was like no way, they topped off my fluids. Then I noticed oil drops on my driveway? Before I took it in there was a small oil leak from a worn gasket, but it was a little bit. And I am aware of the leak. But....when I check my oil and I had NOTHING ON THE DIP STICK. I was at 7-Eleven putting air in my tire. When all of a sudden my tire valve popped off. I was furious and frightened but thankfully right across the street there was a jiffy lube. I walked over across the street and a lovely young man saw that I was in distress, I told him what had happened and he told me that he would get the assistant manager. Within moments Jacob the assistant manager came out and talked with me. He then went across the street with me and put my donut on my vehicle, and said that he might have the part that I needed. After finishing the tire we drive across the street and we get the part that we needed and he got me back on the road in no time. The men that work there are absolute Angels. Two thumbs up, five stars all the way!!! I will forever be grateful for Jacob and the lovely young man at the front desk. So yesterday 6/13 I came to get oil changed. I was excited cause there was no lines! Yes does this mean I'll be in and out in less than an hour,,, NO! After waiting 15 mins they come in and tell me that my oil filter is out of stock and ask if I can come back. Umm sure! Brian takes down my # and says he will call me as soon as they get here cause they will be there soon. That was around 10am. I wait all day long, finally deciding to call to ask if they came in. The person that answered said yeah our shipment came in. I was shocked cause they took down my # and said they would call me as soon as they came in. It was already after 5:30 and they close at 6 so decide to bring it in today 6/14. I get here early cause I don't want to wait long. I drive up at 10:00am, there is 1 car inside and that's it. I think to myself "YESSSS"! It is now 10:18 and my car is still outside and they haven't came to talk to me or even touched my car. And ironic that the same guy that said he would call me yesterday is here so I see him and ask if my oil filter came in, he quickly said yes and walked away. I was thinking maybe he would've apologized for not calling my yesterday but nope! There is another jiffy lube not far from here and I think I need to consider utilizing it. I always come here cause it's smaller and I always think it will be quicker but it never is. I wait longer here and any other jiffy lube I go to. It's now 10:22 and my car is still outside and not being worked on. Blows me away!! Hire more people or have more people on the schedule! I am shocked by all the positive reviews for this place. I've been a Jiffy Lube customer for many years, but I've noticed that the customer service and speed of service have been declining steadily, especially at this location. When I arrived, there was only one car there, yet I had to wait for over an hour for service to be completed. It was a half hour before they even did the paperwork. The employee that "helped" me seemed to be depressed and not wanting to be there. When I was paying, he didn't know how to do a AAA discount, and he had to find the manager to ask. I had seen him on prior visits and he did the same thing. I already swore I would never return to the Jiffy Lube at Vineyard and Esplanade. I'm going to have to find another lube and oil place. read more

To whom it may concern: On Thursday May 2nd, I took my car to Jiffy Lube at 611 S Rose Ave in Oxnard California to get an oil change upon arriving there and having waited 30 minutes they were finally ready to begin working on my car. Before working on changing the oil, the guy at the counter began to tell me all these things that my car needed work on which I knew was not true, but went against my own judgment since he continued to pressure me into at least getting both of my serpentine belts replaced since they were "cracked". I asked how long this would take and how much, he told be the belts were $75 a piece and would take no more than 40 minutes with the oil change included.I debated on going to another mechanic to get my car worked on, however thought it would be easier to just do it all at jiffy lube while i was there. What a mistake! A simple hour at Jiffy lube turned into two hours when I finally got fed up. I went out there to see what was going on and the men said they could not get my current belts out of the car (2006 scion XB.) Are you kidding me? This is their job as a mechanic, dont tell me the whole process will only be 30 minutes and then 2 hours later have not even really started. When they finally got the belts out, their belts did not fit in my car after they already told me they had the parts. I then had to wait for them to go to another store to buy the correct one this took an extra hour. 3 hours have gone by and my car is finally done, so I pay and am getting ready to leave however when I get inside the car I realize my check engine light among others are now on in the car that were not before! Thank god I did not drive off the lot. It took them over an hour to figure out what was wrong, and finally the manager came out to figure this out. What was discovered was that his workers had broken my sensor part in the car and they then tried to cover it up when they said nothing was wrong when they tried to turn the lights off before I left the lot. They were hoping I would not notice that they broke something, unfortunately for them I did because my car notified me about the lights. At this point I am beyond livid because now my car has a broken part that was not broken when I brought it to them. The manager was trying to be sympathetic and told me he would reimburse me for the belts, however I would still need to pay the $26 for an oil change. ARE YOU KIDDING ME? Your making me pay for the oil change after you wasted my entire day when I had many other mechanics I could have gone to? When they were going to replace my part for the car they told me it would take another few hours because the closest location to get the part was in SIMI VALLEY and they closed at 7, keep in mind it was rush hour and was 5pm. Finally my car was fixed after 6 hours of waiting what I originally thought I was going for a 30 min oil change. I had plans this day and was unable to do anything. These people at this location are nothing but a bunch of imbeciles and I would not trust any of them to work on your car. In fact I am worried there could still be more damage done on my car that I am not aware of. I will never use Jiffy Lube again and will let others know how shitty of an experience this was and advise them to never use your service. What a horrible ordeal! Not satisfied, it would take A LOT to bring me back to your store. read more

I drive a 1997 Honda Accord with a sweet spoiler (no, it's not the rice rocket kind of spoiler), broken air conditioner, and has mucho mucho miles on it. Needless to say, I wasn't surprised I'd be paying almost $50 for an oil change but I think that's standard now. I think Walmart is starting to charge $40 - $50 for an oil change. What a crazy world we live in... Anyhoo, I came in for a simple oil change on a Wednesday afternoon and there was no line. Awesome. Told the attendant I needed an oil change and they filled up my liquids, vacuumed my car, filled up the air in my tires, and for an extra fee, I had them switch out my air filter. When the guy suggested I get it changed, I thought he was just trying to upsell me. Then I went and googled "changing my air filter" on my iPhone and learned they need to be changed every 3,000 - 4,000 miles. He told me the last time I had my air filter changed was 20,000 miles ago. LOL. My bad. So I definitely had him change that as well. All in all, I only waited about 20 to 25 minutes to get my car back and plus, I learned that every time you go in for service at this Jiffy Lube location, you get a free car wash! All you do is show your receipt to the cashier at the Circle K just a couple doors down and they give you a code for the car wash. Best $65 my mom ever spent. Hahaha read more

I needed to replace my cabin air filter (was filthy), they wanted to charge me $59.99 and when I questioned the price, the attendant said, "yeah, we only charge $3 over regular auto part stores. Believe me, I called everywhere and that's the price." WELL.... I called an auto parts place down the street and was quoted $13.99............. like I I first thought. Although the thought of someone else working on my vehicles keeps me up at night, my current living situation prevents me from performing my own automotive work. I am always relieved to find a place that seems to know what they are doing. I came in for a basic oil change. The attendants were fast and friendly. They clearly displayed all of my options and the accompanying costs as well as any further service recommendations. They were not pushy, just offered suggestions but never forced them when I said no. I appreciate that. They were also the only station to ever mention replacing my cabin air filter (which I kind of forgotten about), although $59 seems pretty high to replace a $15 filter, especially when they already took the old one out to show me how dirty it was! I walked down the street to the auto parts store when I got home and did it myself. Oh well, thanks for the head's up! This location also had a $15 off coupon loadable from yelp or printable from their website! Lastly, I got a free car wash at the connected gas station just by showing my receipt. I still don't trust those automated car washes though - always seem to leave scratches on the top of the car. But with this old car I'm driving now, it's not a big deal. If only their prices weren't so high for synthetic blend oil, this would be a solid 5 star place. Terrible experience!!! Waited 2 hours for a simple oil change with only 2 people in front of me. Not only that but they broke my engine fluid dipstick and didn't even offer to replace it. He told me I should go to the other Jiffylube on Vinyard and they could try to get the remaining stick portion out from the tube...I was on my lunch and was already late to be back to work because they had taken so long. I knew my coolant needed more fluid so when he was going over the services with me I asked why my coolant didn't get filled. He told me it costs more and he honestly hadn't even checked it. Upon checking it he needed to add a significant amount. And after all that...I didn't even get a window sticker to remind me when my next one is!!! Lazy and stupid is a terrible combination!
