Everyone here is very professional, helpful, and extremely kind. Erik & his manager - who I didn't get the name of - stayed about an hour past close working on my car to find the cause of an issue I had with my brake light coming on & off. Originally, we thought it might be due to a recent brake fluid exchange, and they re-did the service to check if that was the issue - and even though it turned out to be the fault of another shop, they did it free of charge. They explained the actual issue thoroughly, topped off my fluid, and even offered to drive along on my way home to make sure I made it there safely. I'd give 10 stars if I could. For the second time in 2 years, they forgot to tighten my drain plug. First incident was my son's car. Got the oil changed, drove home and raised the front end to do the brakes. I noticed a small drip coming from the drain plug. It was hand-loose. Today, I get home, go inside for a bit; go out to my other vehicle on the driveway and I see a shiny puddle under my car on the street? Heavy drips from the drain plug! Wth? Don't even think about coming here, worst service ever! The drain plug wasn't put on properly and my car was leaking. Had to take it back and they wanted to charge me for THEIR mistake. Absolutely not. Went for oil change again elsewhere and I was told they fucked up my oil pan. They used a drain plug that was too big and messed up the trim!! I came here to get the plate at the bottom of my car fixed as the Oil stop at Saratoga left it unscrewed after my oilchange and don't want to go back as i moved to gilroy. The manager came to me and said his staff can fix it for free with a ziptie of sorts but won't be liable for any damages. I said sure why not as as it is a temporary fix. I just came back from Jeffy lube. I got my oil changed and they were very quick 20 minutes in and out but that's the only thing good I can say about it. I was greeted in the parking lot right after getting out of my car and I was asked what I needed done I said oil change and I was told to go to the lobby and they would check with me after looking at my oil I went and waited in the lobby and in about 20 minutes I was called up and I asked are you finished? He said yes and told me how much I owed. I went ahead and paid it and then went home. This was my first oil change in a year. My last oil change was at Jiffy Lube and I was told that I needed a new air filter. I did not get one because I was going to go camping and I would be driving on dirt roads . Well, I procrastinated and did not get my new air filter. Today I was expecting to be told I needed it changed since they told me a year ago it needed it. Obviously they did not check it or they just looked at the top because the top looks good. Now I have to go to the auto parts store and get myself a new air filter. I'm a 65-year-old female and I am very capable of changing my oil myself, but I don't want to do that anymore. The most irritating part is on their checklist it says that it is okay. The list also says that the windows were washed, nope. If you are going to list a service as provided you really should provide it. I will be going elsewhere next time. read more

Today I went to go get my oil changed, and the guys noticed I had a serious high risk split in my tire. They were very kind to let me know and helped me put a spare tire on. I had no idea it was even there. They were very concerned about my safety and highly recommend me to put on my spare tire. There were a few gentlemen working on my car and I believe also a manager. They seemed very organized and were all working very hard to get everyone's car taken care of. I really appreciated them taking the time even though they were extremely busy to go above and beyond for my safety knowing that I had a car seat in the car for a child. Went in for an oil change. Car was done in about 20 minutes. They will clean the windows and vacuum the inside. The reviewed the service. Before I leave I always check the oil and cap. Guys are friendly too. Can't go wrong with the price. I have also been here for a transmission fluid replacement. They did that fast as well. I always get my oil changed here. They're fast and efficient, and the staff is always supremely well mannered. You can go to wal mart and pay less... Or, you can pay a legitimate price, and be in an out the door in a fraction of the time. I stopped going to wal mart, because I don't have time to sit around for hours while one person does all the work. Anyway, I live in the mountains, and there are mouse problems around where I live. When the crew opened the hood, they found a pile of lemons spread around the engine bay. I told them they didn't have to clean it, and not to worry about it. Just do the work, and I can clean the crap when I got home. No - they cleaned the car out anyway, and I couldn't be more appreciative of that extra effort they gave. HEAR YE, HEAR YE HEAR YE!! I don't think this is a safe place for a woman to come here because I'm a big guy and they were rude and didn't do anything that Jiffy Lube requires. And I go to a lot of Jiffy Lube's and most of them are outstanding but this one needs to be revamped with staff or close down in my personal opinion. I don't care if you have to push your car run from this place I wish I could give this place a MINUS 5 stars. The absolute worst place I've ever been to and I've been going to Jiffy Lube for years. I was their last car of this evening, six guys standing around and one guy with the dog. Their BS ing, complaining about management with the hours they have to work, and not paying attention to my beautiful car, which I pamper and love. I sat in the car while they worked and they asked me to start the car, I said, do you wanna put oil in it first?? He says well we have a little oil in it synthetic oil but our pump machine is broken and it doesn't read, right Can you just start it for a second so I did and then he said OK turn it off and then he proceeds to put oil in my car The guy then reluctantly showed me the oil on the dipstick, but we couldn't see it, so I got out of the car in dipped it myself. I asked him did you check any of the fluids because I didn't see anybody checking the fluids other than put in windshield wiper fluid in the holding tank . He said they did, but they didn't. They were just standing there complaining about their job, not paying attention to my car. This entire staff needs to be transitioned to the wonderful world of fast foods! But then that wouldn't be fair to that industry. They wanted me out of there so I let it go. I could see they were angry at-me pulling at 4:45 PM. Now when finished i went inside to pay and the guy went over everything on the computer screen like, please confirm that they washed your windows, checked your blinkers, checked your headlights, checked your brake lights, checked your fluids, and acknowledge hear ... I looked at the young man and said "they didn't do any of those things absolutely nothing. They put oil in my car and they didn't put enough so they had to do it again because they said they're pumped for synthetic oil wasn't working properly. I probably didn't even get synthetic oil , I said pool only I wouldn't mind if they check my blinkers and my brake lights and my headlights and wash my windshield and the windows so he told the guys to please do that, and they all said no absolutely not. We're off the clock!!! Like I was some sort of jerk, and I'm polite to everybody, I just said OK, I guess I won't have that stuff done today but thank you for at least changing my oil. He was very embarrassed. He was a very simple guy very polite. He did not have a work shirt on but clearly he was in charge of payment. It was the most unprofessional experience I have ever had. I do not recommend you coming here. I'm 6 foot two 228 pounds and I thought to myself I'm a big guy I help my spouse sometimes teach self-defense and I thought if they'll treat me that rude what if my mother was in here or any of my aunts or my female friends. This is not a safe place in my opinion for women to come in and I'm saying this in particular for women I don't think this is a place you would feel comfortable. Adrian at the front desk really helped me understand my billing and I appreciate the recommendations they offered after doing an inspection on my vehicle! Danica, Ericberto, and Moses serviced my vehicle in a very quick and thorough manner. Im so happy to have been offered a discount for providing my own oil and filter!! TLDR: GO TO MORGAN HILL. I would give ZERO STARS to this Gilroy facility if I could! They made it very clear they were not willing to make up for their mistakes, and that they were overall an incompetent group. After leaving I found out they left one of their tools under my engine hood! I spoke to 3 different people while here: Person #1 (Name Unknown): After 20 minutes parked, he told me they were having trouble changing my oil because of its color (?) and then, without asking me or letting me know about the oil issue, just ordered a specific oil filter for me that was already on its way. I did not request this oil filter, and had I known they did not already have the correct oil filter I would have left. Person #2 (Angel): As I waited, he offered to change my air filter initially for $24. When I said no thanks he replied "How about if I take $10 off?" I replied with okay. At no point did he point out that this discount was conditional based off of other factors/purchases. Person #3 (Marcus): Tells me the oil filter they ordered is STILL not the correct one; therefore, the oil change did not take place and at this point I've wasted 50 minutes. He then lied and said that I should go to the car dealership to get a "special" oil filter. I own a standard vehicle and have been to the Morgan Hill Jiffy Lube, which was able to assist me without problems. He then gives me an invoice which shows they charged me $24 + tax for the air filter (i.e. the $10 discount that Person #2 offered was not applied). I pointed out that the price of the air filter was not what I agreed on. He then he goes back to Angel, talks to him, comes back says "Oh...you can only get the discount if you get the oil change." Just WOW!!! They were not interested in making things right after wasting my time. Truly the poorest customer service I have ever experienced! Other Yelp reviews also confirm this specific facility consistently provides unprofessional and extremely mediocre services if any. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!! read more

Nice polite young men entered me in the system. Location was very clean and nice inside and out. This is one of the nicest oil change places I've visited in a while. Keurig coffee on demand and cold water. Nicely air conditioned waiting room with TV Price of $99 for full synthetic that I always use is fair and inline with what I pay elsewhere. We have been coming here for many years with multiple vehicles. Until this past weekend, it has always been a good experience. My 85 year old mother in law's car needed and oil change and tire rotation and I volunteered to take her car in. It is the classic little old lady car. Perfect shape, clean, flawlessly maintained at Honda since she bought it. What do the 'new' people do to the car? lose a lug nut, put the wrong pressure of air in the tires (all varied too with one as low as 10 lbs!) This little old lady could have been killed from this negligence. I have fixed the mistakes and misdeeds and have concluded that boredom, poor training and a complete lack of caring for other people led these young men to commit the poor work. We will never visit another Jiffy Lube and if asked, I will repeat the events from this service: The negligence, lack of ability and potential DANGER that Jiffy Lube put our family in. I truly hope that the owners read this and it opens their eyes to the absolutely terrible job they did and take action and work with your people to care about their work and about your customers (who are your neighbors.) I'd stopped doing my own oil changes and maintenance a few years ago. I redid the service to MIL's vehicle... the filters that JL was quoting 49.00 was 11.00 (same filter).. when they brought in my MIL's filter, I said, 'oh, I just need the oil and tire rotation' When I replaced the filter (and cabin filter)... one was gone and the other abused (torn)... unreal. So, Jiffy Lube, you've lost a customer. ANYONE who reads this and then goes to a Jiffy Lube, well, good luck to you. The experience I had at Jiffy Lube was one of the worst experiences I've ever had at a business in my entire life. I was at Jiffy Lube for nearly two hours to get a simple oil change, even though I was told when I checked in that I would be in and out in 25 minutes. As I sat there during my lunch break from work, I watched car after car come and go from the two stalls next to me. At the point that I realized that six cars who all got in line after me (in the lines for the other two stalls), came and and went with their oil change completed, I finally asked to speak to someone to find out what was going on. I was told the car in front of me was taking longer than normal and it wouldn't be easy to move me to a different stall line so I just had to wait until the car in front of me was finished. There was obviously some type of problem with that car, and even though they said, it would be done shortly I continued to watch cars in line for the other stalls go in and out while I still waited. At the point it had been about an hour, I asked to speak to the manager who, instead of apologizing, told me he didn't think it had been that long and he would check the cameras to see if I was correct. I found that to be extremely offensive, and definitely not the appropriate way to handle a customer who had been waiting so long. When my vehicle finally went into the stall, it took another 30 minutes or so for them to do a simple oil change. For all of this I was offered $20 off. At the point the young man came in to collect my money, I told him that I wanted to speak to the owner before I paid, as I had seen someone who appear to be the owner walking around, and he appeared to be one level above the manager I had spoken to. The young man went in the back room to get the owner and myself and everyone else in the lobby heard the owner shouting " just f-ing give her $30 off. I have boxes to move and I don't have time to deal with this shit so just give her some money off, I'm not gonna go f-ing talk to her." At that point I told the young man I would pay the bill with the $30 off and go because I didn't want any of my time wasted, and it was obvious I wasn't going to get an my help from the owner, who was extremely unprofessional and a bit frightening. There were nearly 10 people in the lobby when this happened and everyone heard what was going on. In addition, when I was driving my vehicle this evening, I realized that my headlights had been manually turned from the auto setting to the off setting, I'm not sure if that was intentional or not, but there was no reason for them to turn my headlight switch off as that was not part of the oil change. I am fearful as to what else may have been done to my vehicle that I haven't found out about yet. read more

I would not recommend this place. Went in for an oil change and they said they reset my oil and that I had an oil leak. I just spent over $8,000 on my SUV and replaced the transmission. So this was odd. As soon as I told them that he said hold on and went to the back where he talked to a mechanic then came back and said there was a misunderstanding on their end. A few days later my exhaust pipe started to smoke BAD. It smoked whenever I'd start my car. Then my oil percentage said I only had 8% oil life remaining. Again ODD if they had reset it right? Well I added oil and upon removing the lid I say caked on oil around where you add it and it was loose where it wasn't before. Please don't waist your money here you'll spend more on repairing their mistakes. Also another customer came back in because all their lights turned on after receiving an oil change from them. I've been going to this Jiffy Lube for a few years and they always do a good enough job. The guys that work there are friendly enough. So why the 2-star review? Well I just had my oil changed at the Morgan Hill Jiffy Lube yesterday and I noticed that my floors had been vacuumed. Why did I notice this? Because the Gilroy Jiffy Lube never does this. They just don't do it and then mark down "customer refused" on the invoice. Why would I refuse to have my floor vacuumed? I'll be going to Morgan Hill from now on. read more
