These people are awesome!!!! I went around 11:30 in the morning on a Monday and this crew was super efficient. AJ the general manager was very kind, put-together, and he made me feel taken care of. Leroy was working with me and my vehicle and he was also fantastic, focused, with a great attitude. Looking around too I was just very impressed by the staff's work ethic, energy, and communication. The guys who work here are so nice! They are also super efficient. I went in around 10am and there was no wait. Since several guys were available, they worked together and my oil change took maybe 10 minutes. Another time I went in to get my tires rotated and it took maybe 5 minutes. This Jiffylube location offers drive-up service, meaning you don't need an appointment ahead of time. I drove in and they were able to take my car right into the queue. I waited inside until my vehicle was up next and one of the staff members spoke to me about what services I wanted for my vehicle. I was surprised to learn the wide variety of car services they offer, it's not just oil and filter changes. They did seem to push the blended and fully synthetic oils pretty hard (naturally, it costs more) and seemed miffed when I told them I just wanted the standard oil. I was there probably just over an hour which wasn't too bad. Make sure before you go that you check the Jiffylube website for coupons, as they always seem to have a discount available. I was able to save %15 with an online printed coupon. Overall I am quite satisfied with the service I received at this Jiffylube and would return the next time I need an oil and filter change. read more

I had my Car serviced and oil changed at the jiffy lube in Indianaplois Ind, 355 shadeland ave . they put the wrong oil in my car and the wrong radiatior fluid and i returned to florida and Robert the manager of the gainesville jiffy lube flushed and refilled my radiator with the proper type and gave me a discount on the service .the indanapolis jiffy lube changed the wrong oil when i caught their mistake 3 days later .. highly reccomend double checking any and all service performed in the shadeland ave . location but highly reccomend using the gainesville location for any and all service needs read more

Not only did I get an oil change, but Tim informed me about my filter needing to be changed and gave me the information I needed to get it changed. He didnt have mine in stock, so instead of making me wait, he called a nearby store and got it delivered from there and changed it in like 10 minutes! They were all amazing. They lost the cap for the transmission fluid. The manager told me I didn't need it. Had to wait hours for a replacement and they wouldn't even discount my service. Last time at another location with same ownership they forgot the gasket for the oil filter. My fault for coming back. Will never go to another Gainesville Jiffy Lube. HORRIBLE read more

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER Instead of being directed to which bay I should pull into, the staff just staired at me and continued to converse. When I asked for prices she directed me inside. I commented that I just wanted a quote on the oil change. She told me he could offer me coupons. I waited 36 minutes as they lifted the hood of my car and " investiaged my issues." He called me over to the computer told me, he didnt offer discounts and that my car was in desperate need of transmission flush, rotation of tires, coolant, air filter and fully synthetic oil change. I advised him that had he enter my name correctly in the computer he see that I had all of that done by them 90 days ago when I was there last! Just the Synthetic oil change how much? He have me a price and within minutes came back in to tell me that my engine is larger then they anticipated and they already started the work, " it would be $35 more." Really is this the first time the 5 of you have ever seen a Highlander? 41 minutes later they drove my vechile out but, didnt call me up to pay, so I asked, they truely said to me they were too busy to cash me out. I waited another 17minutes, was brought to my car and told by the tech that as a courtesy they vacuumed out my car NO, there was oil streaked all over my driver side carpet. I would give this place a 0 star if I could!! They completely hassled my nephew (likely because he's a young, white, teenager) told him my car needed 6quarts of full synthetic oil BEFORE they were even told what type of car needed an oil change. After he had to ask the cost they told him it would be $115 for just a BASIC oil change. I have had my car for 3 years and have never paid more than $35 for an oil change. They workers were so unapproachable and unavailable I had to leave my conference to go out and call the jiffy lube to tell them NO WAY and to return the keys... even on the phone the man tried to argue and "mansplain" me. I was traveling back home from FSU and my car was shaking really bad on the highway, so I had to stop in somewhere to make sure everything was okay. I pulled in here to ask for help and they filled up my tires with air, went underneath the car to make sure there wasn't any damage, checked my engine then, told me what I needed to have done to it when I got home. Houston - we have a problem! Store # 1342 has consistently been a problem from the looks of these reviews. Today, was my fourth and final time at Jiffy. Why? There is NO JIFFY and there is NO LUBE. I have worked in the service industry from entry levels to management. I am way more patient than most people. However, today's 94+ minute "non-Jiffy" oil change was just t-o-o ridiculous. There are simply too many alternatives for customers nowadays - and it is because of places like this! Four "no-hustle" men that were on duty from 3:15 - 4:48 moved only four cars ahead of mine. One of the guys had time to go to Publix and buy drinks and a 20 piece chicken. I wanted a simple oil change. Yes, they tried to up-sell the oil and a air filter - but 94 minutes out the door! Avoid at all costs! I refuse to go to Jiffy Lube because of this place. A few years ago, I had my oil changed here. I drove my 3 miles to work and when I got there my car was completely overheating. My husband came up and checked it. They had completely removed bottom radiator hose! I was just reminded of this because my cousin just had a similar issue with a Jiffy Lube in Jacksonville! I took my truck back to jiffy lube because of a time crunch. I was told by one of the guys - I have a coupon. When I went to leave there was no coupon until prompted . Also my vehicle was not vacuumed as told and my tire pressures were checked on the paperwork but I had to put air in two of my tires to clear the check tire light. Thought I'd trade some money for saving time and get my oil changed at Jiffy Lube. The technician failed to properly reattach the engine skid plate which fell off while going down the road. I've attempted to resolve this amicably with both the district manager and Heartland Automotive staff, but have been unsuccessful after a month. Now the complaint and any follow ups are ignored. My only recourse at this point is to sink more time/money/energy on a small claims case or leave a review and free myself from this mess. What happened in my case may be an exception and you may very well have great service hundreds of times from Jiffy Lube. The true test of how a business does at customer service isn't when everything goes right but how they resolve issues when things don't go right. At every level Jiffy Lube and Heartland Automotive have failed at this test for me Now I'm out almost $300 after an oil change and repairs. In the end, it turns out I spent almost 10x what I normally would have for an oil change, and lost almost a day of work dealing with the repair on top of it. I'll be saving my money and time on my next oil change and opting not to return to Jiffy Lube. read more

I was at this location yesterday 9/18/17 and all was good until check out when I noticed that they used Kendall motor oil instead of Pennzoil that I have always received. When I happened to notice this and questioned the J/Lube person about this he gave me a song and dance about the Pennzoil production plant not keeping up with the demand for their products. I told him that had I known this in advance that I would have gone to Firestone which costs half what they charge. He shrugged and made no attempt to remedy the situation.
