We came to have one tire replaced and the spare put back under our SUV. Should've take less than an hour. But 2 hours later we finally got the car. They didn't make all the tires the same pressure as requested. And they didn't rinse off the spare so it didn't have salt from the roads on it. would love to give a 0 star if able to. second time I have been screwed over by this particular good year location. one time got an oil change and then had an oil leak to notice that bolt was not screwed on per the actual qualified tech at the dealership where I went to get a check. second made an appointment for a tire rotation that early AM for an evening tire rotation. I walk into the store for this rude woman to tell me the store closed and they cannot do a simple tire rotation. the problem being that I have drove across town to this location for an appointment and no one had the audacity to see the schedule to give me a call to re-schedule. so a waste of my time and energy to ever come back to this place. I left the car overnight because they said they had 5 appointments but I was not able to make an appointment . But they wouldn't change the oil just to be on the safe side. I've been coming here for the 2 years that I've been in Gainesville. Their customer service is absolutely remarkable! They always check to make sure they do not do anything that you do not want done to your car, they explain problems well to someone like me who doesn't know anything about cars, and they do everything in their power to make you a happy customer. In one case where they were able to resolve the issue in their garage, the problem occurred a week later after I had picked it up. They went back to check-up on the problem, fixed a minor secondary issue that was causing it again and they didn't charge me for the repair. Also, the management always tries to knock-down the price from what the Good Year company typically charges and this is a relief on the wallet. I've been to other repair shops and they're typically business oriented. However, this Goodyear center is so friendly and they'll do all the tests they can on your car to ensure that your car leaves their garage working. Right away, he said that's a great tire, but unfortunately, they don't make it in the size I was looking for. Complete bullshit and he proceeded to try to sell me a cheaper tire that I'm guessing they were trying to unload. Went someplace else that matched Sams price and was still several hundred dollars cheaper than what Lou quoted me and for a much cheaper tire. He was either a liar, new, clueless or all three. Four new tires and service and extremely happy I didn't take Lou's advice and had done my own research. Awesome Goodyear Tires on my car, but would never even think about going to this store. Ended up spending $1,100 for tires and service. Lou's quote was over $1,300 for tires and all the BS up selling he tried. And they were much cheaper tires. read more

Their word isn't worth squat and they treat your time as it isn't worth anything either. Brought in car for 4 new top of the line tires. Told them that we needed it back by a certain time. Asked them how long it was going to be. They said it would "absolutely" be less than 2 hours. Gave them over 4 and a half hours. Surprise, surprise car wasn't ready. Didn't even call to tell us so we could make arrangements. Absolutely no consideration for their customers. If you want expensive tires and crappy customer service, this is the place to go. Highly recommend! We have only had one experience but we had great service. They were very nice honest people. We got a flat tire on I-75 on our way home to Indiana. We called this store because we just bought Goodyear tires the week before and wanted to make sure we got the same tire. Cenethia, Store Manager, answered the phone and talked my husband through our options. She was so nice and I heard her say "We will take care of you." We got the donut on and drove straight to their store. Lu helped us when we walked in. He was great too. They took my husband back and showed him the tire so he could see that it did need replaced and couldn't be patched. They got it done right away and explained everything along the way. I know nothing about cars but I know these people created a huge problem with mine by doing what was supposed to be a simple tire alignment. If they can't even move some tires around without damaging your car why would you want them to do anything else? I do not recommend this place! read more

Bought some tires and got an oil change. The service was done well enough, and they kept me reasonably updated of the time to completion. However, there were some hokey-pokey methods of charging going on... I called on Saturday to get a quote on some tires. Got a quote for about $550 out the door. We ordered the tires and got them installed today with an oil change. When I went to pay, my total was over $660. I inquired about the price. I was told the quote didn't include the oil change. Right...$110 for a standard oil change. Did you add gold to the synthetic blend to make it shiny? Lets try again. Oh...the front desk person messed up and put in some wrong numbers. Ok, mistakes happen, but he was the same guy who gave me the quote on Saturday. Yeah, he has a lot of customers, and probably can't remember one quote from the next. He is only human. But wait. What are some of these charges? Road hazard insurance. Sure, it is a reasonable thing to suggest, but don't you want to ask me if I want it before charging me???? I didn't say I wanted it, did I? I don't recall ever discussing road hazard insurance at all. Nope...pretty sure we didn't mention this one, not even in casual conversation. WTF!!!! I was also charged for an alignment. Ok, The readings said I needed one, but they didn't even call me to see if I wanted to pay for it. What do I do now...say, oh no, I didn't authorize the alignment, so un-align my car so I don't have to pay for it. What, it was already in the quote, and you didn't tell me that either...WTF, over!!! So there service on the car was fine. Their integrity is shady. If you get a quote, ask for EXACTLY what that includes. If you don't want it (alignment, insurance, muffler cleaning), tell them upfront. Otherwise, they will do the repairs without you even knowing and you already agreed to them. This has been one of the worst experiences of any good year that I've ever worked with. I set a 9am appointment and they didn't get the car in until 10:30. They then took almost 2 hours to tell me they didn't have the oil filter for the car and would have to wait on it. They consistently pulled off of my car (which had an appointment mind you) I'm sitting here now waiting on it and all I get is excuses from the people working here. I WOULD NOT recommend d going here. Try a dealer, a jiffy lube, anything other than this Goodyear store. You are better off doing it yourself- stay away from this place. read more

Most horrible service I have ever had. I only came in to get my radiator checked and when I walked around to check on my car all of the tires were off. I questioned why they did this and they claimed it was "routine." It took them much longer to put everything back together, which later I realized I had to pay for in the form of "shop time." The receptionists were no help--they kept trying to scare me into thinking that my car was in worse shape than it really was. I know this because after I left their shop, I arranged to have a family friend come to check the car. They found that the bolts to my tires were stripped and one of the tires wasn't even on correctly!!!!! I am livid at the dishonesty and corruption in this shop. This is some of the best customer service I've ever had. Needed an oil change. Spoke to Joshua, super friendly as he rang me up. Left for dinner and I received a call that the person in charge of doing my oil left for family circumstances, and offered to have me come back the next day for a free oil change. I offered that he didn't need to do that, it was the end of the day and not a big deal. He insisted that I come in for free and get it taken care of for the "inconvenience". I again insisted it's not a big deal and he had already written the order for free service. Today I've come in and was greeted by name, " all we need is your keys sir and will get right on it!" For a person like me this really is a huge blessing, and was certainly no inconvenience to me for coming back the next day. They didn't have to do that and they did. I'll never get my oil changed anywhere else! I know my situation might be out of the ordinary but regardless they did something for me that they didn't have to do in the first place.
