No pressure. Just real, helpful information. When I came in, that same feeling continued. The shop itself is clean, bright, and welcoming--nothing like the typical auto repair environment. Nathan (Rick's brother-in-law) was at the front desk and immediately made us feel comfortable. Friendly, genuine, and incredibly helpful. Before recommending anything, he opened up my key and inspected it to confirm it wasn't just a battery issue. That alone told me everything--I wasn't being upsold. They were actually trying to help. Then Rick came back from lunch and did the same thing again, just to double check. I paid a deposit and they said they'd call once they got the key from the dealership. It took a few days. My car was running fine before the oil change, I thought maybe they didn't connect something back. I called the shop and they sent someone, Nicholas, right away. At first he couldn't find any wrong. He called his manager who suggested he reach out to two other managers. The other managers weren't available. After about 25 minutes of trying to get my car started he left and suggested I have the car towed to a shop and if what was wrong happened to be their fault they would work to cover the cost of the repair. Nicholas returned 5-10 minutes later. One of the other managers had reached out to him with a suggestion. The suggestion worked and my car was running just fine!! If you need that service done (which you really should only need once in the life of the vehicle at around 30k miles) go to a real shop and have them do it the right way - without the machine - the machine will ruin your day a while down the road (pun intended)). Anyways, ignoring my rule about no jiffy lube, I checked this place out since it was the only place to get my oil changed, on a saturday, that had decent ratings on yelp. Those ratings are totally justified. The staff is super polite, really quick, and very low pressure. They still run through the list of things they want to repair for you: wiper blades, filters, trans fluid, fuel filters, etc (just say no and either do these yourselves or in a real shop to save money) but they don't try to pressure you into those purchases like most places. They also give you a free carwash and air freshener. The price could be better, at $35 it's a little steep when you can get it done for $20 at more shops, but it's a chain, and you expect that going in. So I'm revising my rule: no chain oil change places EXCEPT for this one Jiffy Lube.
