    I really want to put zero stars I have never been cursed at repeatedly for not knowing what type of oil my car used I told him 5W 30 he was so happy to come in and show me it was 5W 20 and then said I already put 5W 30 since that's what you said I then ask him why would you do that if you saw the oil cap I told him I'm not looking at the oil cap he made a big stink out of it and I explain to him that he is the man with the oil shop and he should've done the right thing or came and spoke to me and stop asking me what it is because I am no mechanic that's why I came to him. He got in my face and I asked him if he was going to beat me up that's when he realized that I may not be the one. I asked The oil technicians if they ever seen him behave like this before it was the craziest I have ever seen anyone behave especially the owner of the shop Pablo S is a emotional wreck.

They have 10 stations, but for oil change it's just couple of them in use. While the service was quick, place is little congested. Being my first time, I entered the parking lot not realizing where to wait in line. I was very promptly and kindly told to drive to the other side and wait in line. There was no line, no sign, and nobody to direct me, so I juts waited till they called me. A little pricey, but these guys definitely take care of you. The person who assisted me and reassured me that he'd get me in and out, which he did. They do have few parking spots outside the store for waiting.

Charged me $95 for an oil change WITH the discount. I've been here at least 5 times and I'm just generally unimpressed

Kirk will brake it down for you, and let you know exactly what needs and doesn't need to be repaired on your car. He is super fast and efficient. I drive 10 miles out of my way to come to this shop. I will continue to come here as long as Kirk is the mechanic.

My car was making noise and I asked the dealership to look at it during an oil change. I was told that my exhaust system wasn't looking good. The heat shield was rattling a lot, so they clamped that down but I was looking at a few thousand dollars in repairs. Their suggestion was to start shopping for a new car as mine is 12 years old. The thing is that I'm not ready to part with her. No new car currently on the market stirs the same passion in me the way my current car does. I look at her (yes, it's a her and named Eponine) and I still feel like a proud owner. After looking at reviews, I saw that this shop was getting solid reviews and decided to give it a shot. Going forward, whenever I can, I'm going to choose Kirk over the dealership. The price I was quoted for the work was reasonable and the work was done in a very timely manner. I am very happy with the work and even happier that I feel like I've found a place that can help me keep Eponine around for many more years.

    I regret my previous review, and apologize to anyone who used it to make a decision…read more Although they were late opening, the mechanic who did the work was pleasant enough and the work seemed okay, ultimately it did not fix the problem. I decided to give them another chance. Clearly a mistake. I made an appointment on the website for 8:00am to get my check light checked and see why it's running rough. Arrived 5 minutes early and the store was dark. Called the store number, spoke to a guy who said he would check, then left me on hold for 12 minutes, then cut me off. Called again and was speaking to a woman for a few minutes when someone showed up. Both people on the phone said that they don't open until 9:00, but the website says 8:00, took my reservation, and I even got text reminders. See the screen shot of the website. So I waited until 10 minutes after 9:00 and finally approached the counter and was told that they were waiting on their "diagnostic guy" and could not do anything until he arrived. At that point I took my keys and left. The poor service and level of indifference is unacceptable for any business. The (I guess) manager (Reid) could not have been less concerned that I had been waiting well past the appointment or that the website (and underlying appointment function) does not work. By the way, if you are going to park people in the waiting room, try cleaning it sometime. I will be in touch with Pep Boys corporate this week.

    I came into an empty shop right after 1:00 PM to get the oil changed on my rental vehicle. The…read moreservice person at the desk was on the phone having a hard time trying to give someone an estimate for service over the phone. I waited patiently as it appeared he was u sure how to complete the task. After waiting 10 min I explained to him that I was here to get an oil change on my National rental car vehicle. He asked me for a contract number. I gave it to him, after that he stated that I had to wait for approval. After 30 min I went back to ask the status he stated he hadn't heard anything. He asked if I had a number to call so I gave him the number off of my agreement. He stated no one answered. He tried to call someone to help him. I explained to him that My rental car advisor stated that I could go to any Pep Boys and they would service the vehicle. I then stated do you service under the National Rental contract. He asked me what is National?? I said National Rental car like Enterprise rental car, he said oh I can look up Enterprise and do it. After that he submitted the request, he said I had to wait for approval. I sat down and waited another 15 min and went back up he said he hadn't heard anything not heard anything. I called National Rental car and told them I was waiting on approval. She stated that approval is automatic . I told the Pep Boys rep what she said and he said let me know check again, all of a sudden he says oh it's approved now. A whole hour later. So now I have been waiting 30 min for an oil change, looking at my vehicle with the mechanics outside on their cell phone. I just went up to ask why no one was working on my vehicle and the desk guy just told me they ran out of oil!!!! They had to order some, I've never seen anything like this on my life !! The worst service ever. If I would not have checked I would still be sitting here waiting. What kind of service place runs out of oil???? This is piss poor management!! You don't wait until you are out of oil to order more oil, that's unacceptable!! Who is completing inventories on supplies in this place?? The manager should be fired!!

    We called this auto shop the day before bringing our car in and were very specific about the…read moreservice needed. We provided the VIN number and tag number, and were given a detailed quote over the phone. Based on that information, we scheduled to bring the car in the next morning. When we dropped it off, we were told we would receive a call within an hour to confirm everything. About an hour later, we received a call saying the price would be significantly higher than the original quote, despite the fact that the VIN and tag number had already been provided beforehand. When we explained that the new price was much more than we had planned for and that we would need to pick up the car and figure something else out, the situation became very uncomfortable. When we arrived to get the car, the owner, David, was extremely aggressive and confrontational. His tone and behavior felt intimidating and bullying. We repeatedly asked him to simply give us the keys so we could leave. After several uncomfortable exchanges, he finally returned them, but continued to be confrontational. We ended up going to another shop less than a mile away, where the same service was completed for about a third of the price. This experience was very unprofessional and made us feel extremely uncomfortable. Based on how we were treated, we would not recommend this place.

Over the phone, I was given one set of information regarding pricing and services--only to walk into the store and be hit with something completely different. It felt like a bait-and-switch tactic, and when I tried to clarify the discrepancy, the guy I spoke with in person was dismissive, unhelpful, and frankly rude. There was zero effort to explain or take responsibility for the miscommunication. Instead, I was treated like I was the problem for expecting what I was told just hours before. This isn't just bad customer service--it's dishonest business practice. Save yourself the headache and take your car somewhere that values transparency and respects its customers. I'll never be back, and I'll be warning others to steer clear as well.
