My wife took her Toyota Camry in for a tire rotation and oil change. The service was good but just a few miles after leaving she noticed heavy black smoke from the exhaust. She returned to the Jiffy Lube and was told the service attendant had overfilled the engine with oil. They cleaned off the leaked oil and drained the excess oil. These guys are amazing! I will come here for everything I need serviced on my car from now on. They take care of your car as if it were their own. Customer service is absolutely excellent. They're also time conscious and strive to get you in and out as fast as possible. If you want a great experience having your car serviced I highly recommend this place to anyone. Horrible overcharged for my daughters car battery and put it in her car without quoting how much it was $460! The battery is literally 250$ and then refused to take it out so she could go someplace more reasonable. Very sad that people think it's okay to rip you off . When I have to give bad reviews, I really have to, due to the thought of it possibly being a help to correct matters. We had our Suburban serviced here, no one was mean or rude. But the service was only subpar at best. Two days later we had our Mercedes GL450 serviced (not here again due to experience) and the experience with a place two miles down the road, would have anyone in disbelief that these two businesses actually do the same things, in serving vehicles. This service was not attentive, was not helpful. We literally had a keyboard placed in front of us and asked us to key in all of our information. The lady sat down and watched, while we were the only customer there first thing in the morning. The service was done, but we would never return based on our personal experience. Fast service for an oil change. Only because they didn't perform most of the services that are included with the "Jiffy Lube Signature Service Oil Change". The technician said their vacuum was water logged. My low tire pressure light was still on even after they said they filled all of the tires. We ended up filling it ourselves with our pump and the light went off. We had to remind them that the window washing is included it the price. My daughter came in for an oil change and left paying more than $200. Ashley T. told her that she needed brake fluid replacement which was a lie. I had the brakes done at Christmas and the fluid was replaced then. When I called the store I spoke to the Asst. Manager Zeferino who not only remembered my daughter, but became extremely nervous when I explained my concern. He stated he wasn't the one that sold my daughter the service and only changed the oil. He even agreed the my daughter was over charged. When he finally got Ashley to the phone she was very dismissive and advised that as a parent I should've came in with my daughter or brought the car in myself. My kid is in school 3 hours from home just trying to get an oil change and Ashley doors her for unnecessary service. The receipt is questionable showing a charge of $124.98 for labor. On top of poor customer service, this was predatory behavior and Zeferino knows it! I purchased a Groupon to use at this business. I went into the business, first I was told that the Groupon was a scam, then I was told that they did not have to honor the Groupon, then I was told that the oil I needed cost more than $104.00 extra for my car. I told the man in charge-I only wanted what I had purchased. They refused to rotate the tires -per the purchase. He seemed angry that I was there. He then presented me with extra costs-I said no and he called the police-this con artist used the police to enforce his fraudulent practices. Went to Jiffy Lube for an emissions test. The first guy I talked to (glasses, black hair, facial hair) was very kind and told me their system was down but that I could go to racetrack to withdraw cash. I told him that sounded great and I would be back soon with the cash. When I came back he tells me I have two or three cars in front of me and it would probably be anywhere from 15-30 minutes before my car would get tested. I said that was fine and waited for about an hour before I went up to someone else who doing the emissions and told him I had been waiting for an hour and wanted to see how long he thought it would take. After calling I found out his name is James. He was immediately defensive and raised his voice at me and told me that I was last. I was confused by this since I had gotten there so long ago. He said there had been 8 people in front of me, I explained I was told there were two or three and it was going to be 15-30 mins. The employee I had talked to first walked up and seemed like he was trying to tell James that I wasn't last but James wouldn't let him get a word in at all. He just kept interrupting him and repeating that he had counted and knew I was last. James is yelling at this point and tells me that he's been there since 8 in the morning and has had car after car and that he doesn't know how long it will take but that I am last and I'll just have to wait. I was going to wait at first, but the more it set in the more upset I got about the whole thing. I decided maybe it would just be better to leave. Maybe my 25 dollars wouldn't have made a difference to them and I may have wasted my time but I'd rather give my money to a company who doesn't treat its customers like that. This is the only place within 35 miles of Athens to get emissions done, but I'll drive however far I need to. That was the worst customer service I have ever been given. Being yelled at by an employee especially when I hadn't at all raised my voice or said anything rude is unacceptable. People who feel the need to yell at customers don't need to be working in the service industry. read more

Go somewhere else -- there are two other oil change companies within walking distance. Warning-- you'll want to read this if they're selling you on sudden repairs. These guys said I need new brake pads ASAP. "Only 1,000 miles until they're metal to metal". Their manager Scott straight up lied -- I told him they were new pads, his response: "I looked at them myself, they're not new and need to be replaced." The cost would be over $300 for the car. So I brought my Honda pilot across the street for a quick inspection to be 100% certain. They said I have brand new pads, which I thought was the case. When I got home, I located the receipt which shows I only put 13,000 miles on 60,000 mile pads. Just go somewhere else -- Jiffy Lube can't be trusted read more

Very bad service. I have been 4 times in the past week and everytime their internet and card machines have been down and everytime they have said it would be fixed the next day. The one time the internet was up the technician abruptly told me that his shift had ended at 4:00 that minute and that he couldn't check my emissions, nor could the second guy working there. Not worth anyone's time. Would take me less time to drive to Atlanta and back and go to a different emissions place than to drive to this emissions place 15 minutes from my house in Athens(no emotion here, I sat down and did the math.) I have been taking my cars to this Jiffy Lube for many years now. They are great, speedy, polite and they don't try to oversell extra services/products. However, the most recent time I brought my poor old 1999 Honda Accord I had one problem with the service checklist that I didn't get a chance to address as I went rushing off to get my "mom" errands run. On the checklist one entry is "vacuum floors" - they put "completed". HOWEVER there were still crunched up bugles in the back right passenger seat, cigarette ashes on the driver floor (terrible habit, I do not recommend it), other crushed nuggets of kid-food in the front passenger side. I once told them, when I was in a really big hurry, to not worry about vacuuming, I wonder if they made a note in my customer file to never vacuum my car again. Great experience as far as oil changes go. I called ahead and got confirmation that my Groupon would be honored and I would also need synthetic oil. The customer service guy in the bay-intake area was really friendly and helpful, as was the young lady (Sandy, I think) who checked out my order and took my payment. I was in an out in less than 25 minutes despite there being a number of other cars being serviced. I will likely go back to get my brakes done here as well. read more

I arrived at the Bogart, Georgia location and I asked how much it would be for my specific vehicle. He told me it needed 8 quarts and quoted me a price. Once the oil change was finished the price increase by 25% because the vehicle took a quarts which he already knew when he quoted me the price.. The attendant was very brash had a no-care attitude so of course I will never be back. I would assume this would apply to their other services as well. read more

Great service, friendly staff. Everything was done in a timely manner. They even vacuumed out my mats for me while I waited.

My tire had low air pressure even after refilling it a few times I came in and asked them to put a patch on it if possible. I was told there was no leak. I asked to check again. They did and the guy said it must have gone down from the cool air. Yes winter just started but no other tire was affected and my car stays in the garage where I noticed the tire seemed low. Went to University Tire down the street and they found a nail and patched it. Don't go here unless your car can't physically make it to any other location. I'm glad I got a second opinion because it was one of my front tires and I can only imagine the situation I would be in if I listened to the people here. Went to this jiffy lube on the way to work...oil change here is more expensive than other jiffy lubes and the "work" done was questionable at best. Done in a "jiffy" is right....they skipped the floors being vacuumed and the exterior windows being washed even though both were claimed as done on the receipt....also a NASCAR pit crew could not have changed the oil that quick making me wonder if the oil was actually changed.... read more

I went in for an oil change and asked for upgraded synthetic oil. My oil light had been on for a bit and my oil was low. My washer fluid was out. I asked 3 times if they could fill it and was told that it always part of the service. My car was finished incredibly quickly for a bust Saturday morning. When I got into the car, the washer fluid light was still on. I also noticed they did not put an oil change sticker on it. I asked for the washer fluid but let the sticker go. I was in a hurry to get out of town but noticed that my invoice said that they had cleaned windows and vacuumed They clearly had not. The washer fluid light came back on within a week, as did the oil light sporadically. When I had it checked a couple of weeks later there was almost no oil in it, almost like when I brought it in. I added two quarts myself and the oil light has not come back on again in several weeks. All of this makes me wonder if they just threw in,a quart of oil and charged me for full oil change. I don't know, but something is shady. Disappointing, I had been using this place for a couple of years but now I think they are dishonest. read more

I went to the Jiffy Lube to get a simple oil change and my tires rotated. They did not change the sticker on my windshield, which was fishy to me but I had to hit the road. Twenty four days and roughly 1000 miles later my oil light is now coming on and when I checked the dipstick my oil was pitch black. So they did not change my oil, but on top of that they left trash in my car, did not answer the phone the 5 times I called to talk about this, had bad customer service in general, and were somehow slow (even though they didn't do the one major thing they were paid to do). I tried to give these guys a second chance, after year and a half. You can see my original review from July 2014. This time I watched everything that they did. I noticed that they did not change the cabin air filter, even after they went through the motions of looking in the glove compartment for it. When they were finishing up with my car and rolled it out front I asked them why they did not change the air filter and they said that it didn't have one,but there was a $70 charge on my invoice for a cabin air filter. I made them look at it and it clearly not been changed. The same people were working there this time that were working there last time, One of them had even been elevated to assistant manager. He's the one that changed the air filter for me and he was at a loss of words to why this happened a second time. Again I can only wonder how many times a day this happens to people to come in with fleet cars. Guess they think that it's not my money I wouldn't care. Went to Jiffy Lube originally for a diesel full synthetic oil change. The pricing was comparable to other shops, so I decided to give them a try. After a fairly quick oil change, I was back on the road. Unfortunately, in a manner completely unrelated to their work, the idling pulley broke, and my belt was shredded. I turned around and had them look it over. They went far out of their way to get the necessary parts from other locations across town, gave me a discount on the price, and did not charge me for one of the parts. Customer service was great throughout - one of the service men even voluntarily brought me some ice-cold water during the wait. The problem was a bummer, but their quick and dedicated response showed an extraordinary level of service not often seen these days. read more

I came in from out of town while on assignment, My Audi that was serviced 1.5 months prior was leaking/ burning oil. They topped it off and showed me where the leak was coming from to get me back to the Audi dealership. Got oil changed OK. Asked to check transfer case/rearend/grease chassis before I went into office. Watched serviceman who never left engine area. After truck was pulled out of bay I asked serviceman if he had checked rear and transfer case and was told that he did. I told service rep that the serviceman did not go to rear of truck so he could not have checked all the items I had asked him to look at (and was included in the oil change price) I asked about the universal joints grease and was told that since my truck had leaf springs my truck did not have universal joints. I crawled under truck to put his hand on universal joint grease fitting and he told me that was not a grease fitting. I knew I had an idiot then and left. Emailed Jiffylube about items and never got response. Took truck to Stone Mtn jiffy lube and was told neither upper ball joints/universal joints/ transfer case/rearend had not been touched. Richard Green at Stone Mtn jiffy lube fixed all and shook my hand for payment. First class svc! He got $50.00 tip in mail. Will never visit Jiffy lube 2111 again read more
