I've been coming to the Avon Jiffy Lube for oil changes for quite some time now. The employees are super friendly and take the time to explain what they're doing and how it concerns your vehicle. It seems that everyone working there really likes their job, and that shows in the efficient service. The last time I went, I was told that one of my tires seemed to have low air pressure. After paying for my oil change, it was discovered that there was a piece of metal in my tire. Jiffy Lube took my car back into the bay and put on my spare tire free of charge. Couldn't figure out how to change a turn lamp bulb in my bumper, but changed the other side 4 months earlier.

Even before I got to the doors I was greeted by staff. He was very professional and directed me to the waiting area and let me know to help myself to the free coffee. They kept me informed as to what stages my car was in during the oil change. After words they explained everything that was done and made sure I had to qustions. I then was walked out to my car, he installed my sticker, and made sure my oil light was out. Absolutely a step up from the last visit. This new staff you all have is top notch! read more

I spoke with someone in the Houston office and after that received a call from a man in Indiana THEN received a call from a female calling herself "guest services representative" who couldn't put a grammatically correct sentence together if her life depended on it. Despite some of them coming in on their day off because they were short staff Adam and his team kept everyone laughing and very informed about their cars and experiences. My fiancé took her vehicle here and was charged over $90 for a simple oil change because she didn't know any better. They will take advantage of unknowledgeable customers if the opportunity arrises. I've gone to this particular Jiffy Lube on a periodic basis. With all the heat issues my tires did their thing and the new car is overly sensitive with alarms. After three days of driving with it saying low tire when it really was not, and having been to several places of no help? I decided they were open Sunday so maybe they could reset the sensor for me. I pulled up and was immediately greeted. I showed them the display, the psi, and asked if they could help and the fee. I was told absolutely we can do this and no charge just have a beautiful day. I rarely write reviews...but the customer service at this Jiffy Lube was so outstanding, I had to submit one. The staff was fast and efficient, showing that they worked well together as a team. All of the technicians were professional, courteous, respectful, and wearing facial coverings and gloves. The technician who was reaching in my car asked my permission to touch my steering wheel out of respect due to the pandemic. I appreciated that and thanked him for asking. I took my car into jiffy lube last week as I pulled up it was obvious they were getting ready to close for the day. But being the professionals that they are they invited me in and treated me as if I was the first customer that day. It only were they professional but they explained everything to me took their time and showed me things that I wasn't aware of. Which put them past closing. They didn't have to dm do the extra things they did as far as explaining that I had been ripped off by the previous shop not jiffy lube but a dealer. The oil filter was a oil filter that had been put on 49,000 miles ago by jiffy lube. Showed me the serial number and explained that they are the only ones that Cary that type of filter and pulled up the serial number and showed me when it was installed. Heads up. Next time you get a oil change verify that they change the filter. They said even the oil didn't even appear to have been changed. I saw it I was like sludge. The car illy has 72,000 miles on it. I'm so glad I picked this jiffy lube. By Lowe's in Avon. The manager and all crew very nice and professional Thank you guys and young lady. The only thing I would have to save is for the oil I use it was a lil pricey. But for the info I got this go around it was worth it. read more

I was extremely impressed with the customer service and personal attention given to me on my visit to this location. Adam, Bobby, and Mike went above and beyond to help me figure out why my car was leaking oil and even cleaned all of the oil off of the engine after the issue was fixed. Turned out I had a cracked cap to my oil filter!! They even replaced my cap for free and had one there in store so that I didn't even need to take my car anywhere else. I highly recommend this store. What a rip off. I travel all over the Midwest and the most I've paid for a Oil Change + rotate is $95. $119.35 for a Full Synthetic Oil Change?!? Seriously, WTF is that. Skipped the Toyota dealer this round to save a few bucks not pay a premium. Plus, saw the guy hammering away underneath my vehicle. Do you have the right tool?? I never thought I would say jiffy lube made my day, but that is exactly what happened. I'm a fairly broke high school student who always has work or an extra-curricular after school. One day like two weeks ago my oil light turned on and I thought, "Oh great, there goes $40." So when I had my first free day in nearly a month, I figured I should get my problem solved and I found an online coupon for $8 off an oil change at jiffy lube, so I went after school. I get there and they were all super friendly. Not five minutes later they came back to me and told me that my oil was fine, the light just want reset properly the last time it was changed. Not only did they decide to not just do the oil change anyways and charge me $30, but they also vacuumed my car out for free! My wife was kind enough to take my car for an oil change one day while I was at work, and I was amazed at the service she received from this Jiffy Lube. When she pulled in, they opened the door for her and offered to help her out of her car. They actually asked what sort of service she needed rather than assuming and then escorted her into a waiting room and got her a cup of coffee while they looked at the car. A few min. later, they called her to a computer screen to politely and in layman's terms discuss their oil change services and many aspects of the health of the vehicle. She said it only took them about 15 min to change the oil, vacuum the interior of the car, and wash the windows. When the car was done and she had paid for the service, a serviceman walked her to her car, asked her to inspect the windows and interior, and then opened her door for her to get in. She said she felt like she had time-traveled to a more gentile time, but that she didn't feel pandered to as a woman and saw similar service offered to the male customers who were present. Jiffy Lube Store #42 has taken a mundane errand and turned it into a pleasurable experience. We plan to take our cars back here in the future even though its not close to home just for their service. If you live in the area or drive down Rockville Rd. on your way to work, this is THE place to get your oil changed. read more
