On Aug 5th, I brought my car to this Jiffy Lube expecting their "Signature Service Synthetic" oil change to mean thorough work, transparency, and professional communication. Instead, I got a rushed, incomplete service wrapped in vague explanations and capped off with new mechanical problems that appeared within days. I was charged $250 for the oil change and a brake fluid replacement. The brake service was pitched in a way that sounded like a modest add-on only for the final bill to be far higher than expected. I authorized the work in good faith, trusting the confidence of a young technician. That trust was misplaced. The invoice is vague, poorly written, and fails to confirm whether the oil used meets Dexos 1 or Dexos Gen 2 certification a basic, critical disclosure for this type of service. I arrived at about 5:23 PM. They close at 6:00, but didn't ring me out until 6:14. Out of courtesy, I didn't check the work there, thinking they'd done their job. When I got home five minutes later, I saw the interior was in the same state same dirt, same debris. Their "vacuum" either barely touched the floor or simply didn't work. My oil life monitor hadn't been reset, which is about 10 seconds, I had to do myself. This isn't attention to detail, it's negligence dressed up as service. When it came to communicating the vehicle's condition, the failure got worse. The technician who actually worked on my car stood right next to the one who rang me up and yet, I had to be the one to ask if there were any leaks. Even then, the answer was vague, as if checking for leaks was optional. Where's the professionalism? Where's the basic courtesy to explain the findings clearly? This is supposed to be the "Signature Service" not a guessing game for the customer. A few days later, my check engine light came on. AutoZone's scan pointed to a mass air flow leak and a rich fuel mixture issues I've never had before. On top of that, the cashier not the technician who serviced my car casually mentioned I have a motor oil leak. I asked what could be done, and his answer was: "We don't know where it's at, but if you get a tracer liquid and shine a UV light, we could trace it back to see where the leak is." That's right I had to be the one to ask about next steps for a serious oil leak, and the guidance I got was vague and dismissive! A major mechanical issue should be proactively identified and explained, not mentioned as an afterthought by someone who didn't even touch the vehicle! That's not service. That's carelessness with consequences. I usually go to a different Jiffy Lube 3540# farther away. I tried this one for convenience. That was a huge mistake! My regular location has integrity and respect for customers, this one lost me to their competition for good. Corporate: if you're reading this, understand this is not a "bad day" review this is the result of negligence, poor communication, and a lack of pride in workmanship. I was checking something else under the hood and found the clips on my air cleaner housing were missing. They were the last people to touch it. I ordered new clips and put them on. Just brought truck in for another service, specifically asked guy receiving not to touch air filter housing as I had just replaced clips. Did an under the hood parking lot check getting ready to leave, and clips were missing again. So 1. They messed with what I specifically asked them not to and 2. Broke/lost something off of my truck and didn't tell me about it. Easy enough to replace myself when I got home (jiffy lube didn't even offer to fix/replace what they had broken. Not the first time I have had an issue with this business, but I was overdue, had the time and didn't want all the hassles of doing it myself. Still looking for competent, reliable and honest auto maintenance in this town, this Jiffy line isn't it. read more

They need to just change oil and not tinker with the engine or my Air conditioner; my circulated air does not work since they messed with my A/C. This is the second time they messed with my AC in another vehicle when I just needed a oil change! Took my car here for an oil change, it cost me around $65 with a $25 coupon and they did not check any of the fluids in my car or rotate my tires. The guy at the counter was very nice and they did get me in and out quickly. A week after the oil change my car started driving funny and when I checked everything I was completely out of power steering fluid and this could have really messed up my car. I guess just make sure that everything's is taken care of before you leave. Partially my fault for not making sure before I left. read more

I went to the location on Coors. When I arrived, one of the techs came out and started to get my info. When I went to ok what I had requested, one of the other techs deleted the info from the main computer and the tach who was getting my info had difficulty getting everything loaded again and another helped him. I never did get to ok what I wanted done on the tablet. When the oil change was completed, they were discussing that the info never went through to the main computer and they had to do it again. Made me wonder if the correct service was completed. They did clean my windows for me but did not vacuum, as is usually dome by other Jiffy Lubes. Because it was dark and because I needed to use my truck for the next several days, I did not notice that there are oily fingerprints all over the front clip and on the driver's side door handle. My car may not be a newer one, but, i do keep up on the maintenance, which includes, keeping it clean. This was the worst experience I've had going to Jiffy Lube. I pulled up with no one in line Santos guided to the one bay then helped the car behind me. After waiting for five minutes a tech came to ask if I've been helped. Santos never talked to me in fact I was not asked if I needed wipers, air filter, and what oil I wanted they did the oil change and nothing else. My air filter was checked, windshield wipers needed replacement which I was planning on them doing, windshield was not filled. My inner monologue was so tired, it was a conversation I'd been having with myself for a couple of weeks, ever since the oil change mileage sticker had been eclipsed by the odometer. "I should just go to one of those franchise places, get it done quick and stop stressing. No, no, go to the local mechanic, I trust those guys and I know it's about the same price. But then I'd have to set up an appointment, I don't have time for an appointment." You know how the reasoning works. In the end I gave in to Jiffy Lube. I'd been there a couple times before, usually a three-star service. This visit, however, the mechanic reported a rather looming concern. Amongst the litany of issues they noted during the oil change (which is always such an uncomfortable discussion, one of the reasons I hate these chain places) was a leak in the transmission line which, he told me, "could get real ugly real fast. It's a pretty serious leak." He told me that they could not do the repair but pointed me towards a shop up the street that could take me in, likely that same day. I paid for the oil change and drove off. Now a second, much scarier concern was on my head and about one week later I pulled into my mechanic, Old Town Automotive, unannounced. Just like Jiffy Lube, they got me in right away and just like Jiffy Lube, they quickly reported the findings of their inspection. "There's nothing wrong with your transmission line. Yeah, there's a leak, but it's so minuscule you'll never need to seal it. Seriously, it's nothing. We can fix it for about $400, or you can leave it alone. Your car will die before the line drains. Promise." I'm not asserting that there may be an improper relationship going on between this JL location and a mechanic up the road, not at all. Just the facts. read more

I didn't think I would review an oil change place, but I have to say that last night I had the friendlist, most helpful techs I've ever had. You know how most of the time they try to convince you your air/oil/transmission/filter/cap/plug is bad and NEEDS to be replaced? No? Well, maybe I look like an easy target because I always get that. Not this time! The guy actually said "Everything looks really good on your car, you obviously take care of it." So I have him fooled. They were really busy and it took a little while, but everyone was so friendly it didn't seem so bad. read more

Took my car in for an oil change, and they told me I urgently needed new brake pads. I declined to have them install new pads and instead took my car to the dealership to fix my brakes. Dealership said I had another 30k miles left before I needed new brake pads. Watch out, Jiffy Lube's business model is basically to screw over as many customers as possible. read more

Do not come here ! I came in for simple oil change. All techs are so busy trying to up charge sale air filter, car filter etc. All I wanted was oil change. After I declined extra charges, they had to put back all filters. Wait time was moderate I paid my bill and left, only drove 3 miles and oil pressure light on my dash came on. I call Jiffy Lube back to tell them what happened and I was returning. Motor smoking, motor knocking I barely made it back. I let my temper lose and told them off. We needed a quick oil change after driving cross country. These guys were friendly and knowledgable. But most importantly QUICK.

On 4/16/2020 I had two new tires put on my car. I was very pleased at the price and the service at that time. I had already done some price checking at Discount Tires and Jiffy Lube had a better deal. The total for that was $162.29. Five days later one of my older tires "coincidentally" had a nail in it and I say "coincidentally because I now wonder if they actually checked the tires that I wasn't replacing, caused the tire enough damage to be replaced, not repaired. That one brand new tire, which is the same as the two new tires I bought five days ago, cost $102.00. When I asked if the prices had gone up in the past five days, I was told the prices change every month. We're STILL in the same month. It's only FIVE days later. Seems like it should have cost $81.14. I know there are a lot of places who are escalating prices during this pandemic, and this seems to be a good example. I am not impressed. It may be only $20.86 but I am elderly and on a limited income. So here's a bulletin for Jiffy Lube - if your customers are happy and trust you, they keep coming back. If you compromise the trust, they'll go elsewhere. read more

DO NOT GO TO THE JIFFY LUBE ON COORS AND CENTRAL. EXPECIALLY WOMEN!!!!!! did you know they get a comission for extra services you buy ,I didnt... I went in for an oil change , and asked about my squeeky breaks. They quickly came back and said i needed brakes. It would be a 3 hour wait that i did not intend. So I take my kids to Dions to eat. A littke later I notice my breaks ate still sqeeking it was closed as i left... I take my car back the next day, the supervisors first words to me were ( oh ya, your breaks were squeeking because of to much oil on the brake pads in the front) Im like thats new to me, no one told me that. So this other guy takes off my front breaks, he comes to show me, that the niose was commong from my frony breaks because of hairline cracks. I LOOK AT MY RECIEPT IT SAYS FRONT BREAK REPAIR $200. SO , I ask are those my original breaks, he said yes we carry ceramic break pads, I ask again so my front breaks were not done? He says no....I go back inside and ask the supervisor ,what did I pay for ,because my reciept says front breaks? He looks at it and gets mad. I told him first you said oil on the breaks now this guy says cracks in the breaks, did you even check my breaks. Seems to me you did not know what the problem was..I told him is this what you do to women that dont know any better. I would of never known if it wouldnt of been that the squeeking was still there. So, now I have spent $200 on what I do not know. I am still driving around with bad breaks and the niose. Plus all the time I spent there for two days.
