Went into a different shop when check engine came on - now at the end of our cross country trip I'm in CO - asked if the shop could quickly check the code for me. The mechanic kind of begrudgingly did, but he did it quickly and then honestly told me what the issue was, reset the code and sent me on my way. $0 dollars. Old town automotive should be avoided at all costs. Not trustworthy. I asked them if they could quickly check the code. She told me how much a full diagnostic was ($200) I should have left then. After the "full diagnostic" When I asked if they would charge me a "partial diagnostic" she said no. I asked for the Yelp check in discount $10 or $20 maybe? no. AAA discount ? No. After asking if the was anything she could do to help me out she finally caved and gave me the aaa discount because she "doesn't even subscribe to Yelp and can't understand them on the phone half the time." I don't know if it's worth noting... THE ONLY REASON I WAS THERE WAS BECAUSE OF YELP, It was 10 or $20 discount and they were already ripping me off... I regret letting my anxiety get the better of me at the start of the trip. This situation was easily avoidable. I should have just left. Still waiting for that full diagnosis btw. Boo this garage.

So their "30 day warranty is a damn joke" I wouldnt buy another car from them. Another thing was my trunk collapsed in so I've not been able to use it. I figured "Why bother to go back ?" Their service dept Is a joke and the mgr and employees have lousy attitudes. Also the sales lady called me the next day and asked me for a review she had to have to have in the first day to "get credit" for the sale. So I have a tire problem and a broken trunk.

Some on the dash, some on the seat, and some on the floor. I know they pulled the cabin filter and in order to get to it they had to remove the divider and the contents. Must be they didn't know how to put the divider back in. So rather than asking they just didn't deal with it. I complained to one of the technicians and he just picked up the stuff on the floor, threw it into glove box. He didn't attempt to put the divider back in or the items on the seat and dash. The oil change was $145 dollars. I would expect for that price they could put things back the way they were found. The one positive was the wait wasn't too bad.

After they spent quite awhile on the vehicle charging the AC with a dye to check for leaks. Perry came out to inform me I had a leak down in the core areaof the engine. It was in a area that would require dropping the transmission & some other tight areas. He was honest and straightforward about how big this job. He was rock solid with the fact they were not equipped to do this job. His honesty was impressive. Even if they couldn't fix it he was able to make recommendations to who could & explained the cost. I noticed a lot of seniors using this place, even ask one gentleman about the place. He said "I have been coming here for 50yrs that says it all". Even though they didn't fit the AC I know what is wrong, price was less than a hundred for all the investigation to find the problem, & a solution was presented. I highly recommend this place

I made an appointment to get the air-conditioning fixed after speaking with this business about…read morepricing, but they couldn't get me in for a week. Dropped it off first thing in the morning. I have an appointment time and after a couple hours just called to check in and say hey and what's going on with it and Lady told me that he was out getting a test drive.. I assumed at that point that the car was done and ready to be picked up so I proceeded back over to the shop. Upon arriving, I see the car parked in the back lot right up against a trashcan, pinning it against the building. It actually damaging the trash trashcan.. which means they don't take proper care of customer vehicles. At this point, I asked if it was ready to go and the lady said it actually never even was seen yet so I decided I was gonna drive back across town and come back later to pick it up. halfway home. I get a phone call letting me know that the service advisor person was gonna get on the phone with me and proceeded to tell me that the inspection was done. Everything was good. They just needed to do the Eva and refrigerant.. I asked well OK how much is it gonna be fingering it? The back is $30. The inspection is free. Refrigerant should only be a little bit so I still looking at probably 100 bucks or less.. the guy proceeds to tell me it'd be almost $300 which blew my mind. I said no thank you went back to pick up the car and I also asked the service manager lady upfront with the deal was because pricing was confirmed on the phone when I made the appointment a week prior as well as in the morning when I dropped the car off. I was told that it was a miscommunication on their end, which makes no sense to me because it's a pretty straightforward procedure and cost. The only variable is the amount of refrigerant put in the vehicle. I proceed to drive the car over and drop it off at big old tires and they did it for $150 total. As an added, plus this whole experience, I ended up ruining a nice shirt and getting grease all over my hands because they got greased all over the inside of my car and the steering wheel. Just had the car cleaned the day before. Just be beside myself!
