Excellent authentic food. My wife does not usually enjoy Chinese food due to oilyness. She loved everything that was served tonight.

Recently, while traveling in Switzerland, I was hungry for more than the usual local fare of Swiss…read moredishes. I truly wanted something which wasn't super rich but very flavorful. I was walking near my hotel and ran into this awesome little Chinese restaurant. I didn't want a big meal, only a bit of dim sum. I and my companion walked in and were seated immediately. I asked for dim sum and was immediately served some of the best Chinese appetizers I've had! Needless to say, I had just returned from San Francisco the month before and this small place in Lucerne, blem them away! I quickly ordered another plate full of dim sum. It was so wonderful. I told the husband and wife team how impressed I was at the meal and thanked them for the care they put into preparing it. This place is easy to find. I am attaching a pic of the card that I took from the restaurant. They deserve to have more exposure since their meals are awesome! I NEVER expected to love a Chinese restaurant in Switzerland but it was awesome.

Courteous staff but unfortunately the food is terrible not to mention the price (it's around 16…read moredollars for an entree to go which is consider decent price per Swiss standards). I ordered a noodle dish for my sister and spicy chicken to go. I asked them to separate the noodles from the soup because I didn't want it to get soggy on my walk back to the hotel. They charged 50 cent extras for an extra container to put the soup. The chicken was way too soft. The fish was very saucy which caused it to spill all over on my rice. It didn't have much taste either and barely any heat. My sister said her noodles extremely bland as well.

The spice level is pretty good - the owner offers levels 1 through 10 and we felt that the level 10 was a good satisfying level of spicy for those of us who are used to eating very spicy food. Those with more delicate tastes can opt for no spice and still have a very tasty bowl of beef noodle soup. The flavor profile is good - exceptional for what one can find in this part of Europe. It was very satisfying. We also ordered the cold chicken with dipping sauce - its mild taste is a good balance against the spice in the noodle soup. The star of our meal was the traditional chicken in clay pot. It is cooked exceptionally well and the flavors are subtle, but multi-layered and complex. Again, a good balance with the spices in the noodle soup. We ordered some of the fruity tea drinks with little pearl bubbles on the bottom. The flavor is a little bland and we wouldn't recommend it.

The only sad thing is no weekend service is available. Thank you for taking the time to explain your delicious noodles and sharing your advice on the tofu pudding for dessert. We'd love to visit again. Xie xie!
